I can’t say a single bad thing about this place. I order some really weird salads and they never bat an eye or forget an ingredient. These people are professionals. Trust them with your salad purchase.

Mealpass order of Asian sesame grain. I’ve ordered the exact same item from the park ave south location. Portion size here is about half as the other. Chicken is nowhere to be found. This is the only MealPass restaurant where I was asked to show the email. Most other places just ask for my name.

I’VEHADITWITHTHISPLACEAFTERGETTINGMYORDERSCREWEDUPONETOOMANYTIMES. The salads are very fresh and good. But the customer service is TERRIBLE. These people have screwed up my order many times — not just at this location, but at other locations too. They are rushing through to serve you salad and get you out the door. You are paying $ 15 for a takeout salad with no customer service. Today I got home to discover they put flavored chicken in my salad(instead of plain) and THEREWASNOSALADDRESSINGINTHEBAG. How am I supposed to eat my salad without dressing? To compensate you, they don’t offer a free salad(like most places would) or even a credit, but rather a coupon to use off a future purchase. So I paid for something I didn’t get and can’t get my money back. Well, there won’t be any future purchases from me and I hope you won’t go either. If you do, triple check your order before leaving. It’s funny, I’ve never had this problem with any of the other places where I get salads in NYC.

We need to go to the far end of the store to place your order. A person normally gives a order card on which they write the name and check the food which we want and we need to submit the order card the the person behind the counter and off you go, we have ordered the falafel salad which has got baked falafel romaine, cherry tomatoes etc along with lemon dressing. They chop is nicely with a big semicircle shaped chopper, so you don’t have to go through the pain of finding your food under the long leaves It tasted so very nice, and felt healthy and light and we have also tried the noodle soup which was decent. I would definitely come back here!

Offsite lunch at my job is so not a thing but today i had to run an errand and decided id sneak in some grub. My lunchtime adventure began with a stroll down 6th ave. In an effort to get my summer bod ready I decided to skip $ 1 Pizza and instead opt for Just Salad. I’d heard such great things about it. After letting 10 hungry folks order ahead of me while I make up mind I decided on the Chipotle Cowboy. Yummy! Passed through chopped station and cashier and ran back to my office. Sat down and dug in. After about 4 bites I started to notice some interesting ingredients were in my bowl(chickpeas, olives and cucumbers, *yuck*)and some key ingredients were out(chicken and avocado). It appears somewhere between romaine and crunchy onions, chopped station #2, and the register my Chipotle Cowboy was switched at birth with a veggie delight salad of some sort. Sigh. 2 stars because after pulling out half the ingredients the lettuce and crunchy onions weren’t half bad. But I wanted chicken and avocado dammit! So 3 missing stars for the obvious. Bummer!

If you plan on repeat visits, consider shelling out $ 1 for a reusable bowl(orange or white) to keep — gets you two free items for your salad every time you present your bowl.

Stumbled across Just Salad. They had an interesting concept with bring your own bowl(after you buy theirs). You can also skip the line if you have a certain bowl color. There were many options and you had a choice to get bread as well. They offered chopping the salad and the prices were very reasonable. Better than chopt.

Just salad is JUST okay. It was my first time at this location, but I was familiar with the Just Salad chain. I went at night, so it was weird not waiting in any line. Usually these salad places have a line wrapped around the entire restaurant, so it was great to order right away. I ordered their thai chicken salad, which the guy recommended to me. Honestly, the only reason why I asked is because I was overwhelmed by the menu. There were almost too many choices. I must say, the service was a little eh. For being a Saturday evening, I understand it’s been a long day for these people. There was hardly anyone there too. The staff kind of came off like they were really just ready to go home, which made me feel the same way. I’m glad I took their recommendation because the salad was pretty good. It wasn’t anything I’d go and brag to my friends about, but it was a healthy meal for under $ 10. So I was content.

These guys do such a fantastic job. I met Just Salad in Chicago, and when I learned there was a location by my office in NY, I jumped for joy! It’s my absolute favorite chain — consistently delicious, beautifully branded — and the staff at this location on 6th Ave is EXEMPLARY! Kudos, kudos, kudos — and everyone reading this should definitely eat here if you’re looking for a delicious, hearty salad and a pleasant salad experience(hard to come by in NY!)! Can’t say enough good things!

The food is tastes reasonably fresh. There are many options to choose from! Very convenient for those of us who work close by. This would be a better location if ordering was easier. It seems that some of the workers have a little trouble speaking English. Other than that it’s an okay place for a quick lunch.

Love their buffalo chicken salad… overall good salad and generous portion. I’ll come here for a quick lunch takeout. This used to be my favorite salad joint. But then I tasted Sweetgreen.

For a while, I’ve been meaning to write to commend the entire 6th Ave(23rd street) Just Salads Team. The staff, throughout the entire experience, from management(Danny!) to greeting to checkout(Susie!), is exemplary. As a result, I eat at Just Salads almost every day during the week. As you know, in Chelsea, where I work, there are many options for great salads. However, none offer the great people and customer to match just salads. I want to specifically recognize Susie, at checkout. Seeing and briefly chatting with Susie at checkout brightens my day. Just Salads is very lucky to have Susie as an employee. She’s the best. Please share my thoughts and compliments with Susie. And to the entire staff, keep up the great work! Jason

This is usually my favorite place to go for salads and they are the best tasting and fresh, but today was the last. I waited in line for 5mins before anyone acknowledged me. A lady finally took my order. I waited another 5 mins for a lady to come make my order and she took the guy after me first. I’m patient, but I don’t condone being made to wait because the employees are laughing and cutting up and throwing around«f*** this» and«f*** that shits» all over this place. Let’s try to act educated and civilized please. Good thing I have the UES location. They’re awesome!

Just salad is just fine. The salads are consistently salad, nothing more, nothing less. The décor is weirdly hip and sad at the same time, like told an image consultant to do «slightly nicer Subway.» As a chain all throughout the city, nothing about this location is particularly stunning, nor weird. It is close to a few subway lines, so that is a plus.

It’s clean, it’s quick, it has good salad! Isn’t that all we should be looking for from this place? When you’re looking for food that will physically and mentally make you feel slightly healthier, this place gets the job done.

As much as I love the concept of Just Salad, this location has continued to go downhill. It seems like the staff doesn’t care about anything. When I’ve been there — both my last visit, and the visit prior(which was a few months ago), tables were dirty, and while there was no line they were understaffed enough where there was one person working the entire saladmaking process(ingredients and chopped/dressings). The bathrooms had no paper towers — felt dirty, and no one seemed to be keeping them up. One person on register who gave me literally two seconds of her time, to then go back to chatting with the other staff. I kept wondering if the food was fresh, and if I was going to get sick after I finished my meal. Thankfully, that didn’t happen. Again, I don’t think most locations are like this, but this one is becoming stale and needs some improvements. Next time, I won’t go back to this location, would try pretty much anywhere else instead.

Let’s get it out of the way first that they call this location Chelsea despite being firmly in Flatiron(they’ve since opened one actually in Chelsea and don’t call it that, apparently committed to the mistake). Tandoori Fire Salad Chopping Preference: Chopped Dressing Preference: On the Side Include Bread: 1 Thai Chicken Crunch Salad Hard-Boiled Egg* Chopping Preference: Chopped Dressing Preference: On the Side Include Bread: 1 Asian Sesame Grain Salad Quinoa Chopping Preference: Chopped Dressing Preference: On the Side Include Bread: 1 *Nice profit margin on single hard-boiled egg at that amount — guess the design comes at a premium… also only added it because of the foolish minimum at $ 9 rather than $ 8 or $ 10 which makes half the menu affected

I’m a fan because during my longer than usual lunch breaks, their dining area comes in handy. There’s lots of space and a few outlets to charge, never experienced much crowdedness, decent customer service, and the best part is they play only BIGREGGAECHUNES!!. I’ve only tried their wraps; some are cheaper than the salads. It’s pricey, but really good.

This is a solid salad place. I don’t think it’s quite as nice as Chop’t, but it’s also not as expensive. The line moves pretty fast and there is a decent selection of options. I do have to give a shout out to the low fat horseradish chive dressing. That was awesome.

After contemplating what’s for lunch, where by choice I did not bring lunch from home, reluctantly with their extreme overprice it appears fresh as I had to give a try for chopped salad. When entering everything is eco-friendly green including their chairs and there is a long orderly assembly queue from placing your order to attaining the salad base to deciding on toppings and add-ons to having your salad violently chopped by a two blade, rounded cleaver knife. The chopping is violent and greatly splatters everywhere. All in all, I still love and prefer a traditional un-chopped salad. Just Salad is similar to its competitor Chop’t Creative Salad Company on 24 East 17th Street without the obscene bankrupt price. My Caesar wrap at $ 6.99 was okay at a very average price, thankfully not more than $ 6.99. A continuous TV displays Just Salad being featured in NBC and Martha Stewart on their premises showing her domestic skills of neatly chopping a salad with a rounded cleaver knife. Bowls are available for purchase where patrons are re-use for their next visit. The queue ends at checkout with bottle drinks and chips or fruit. Healthy eating is a good lifestyle enforcing good morale.
