Solid, Good Healthy food. The drinks are all severely overpriced, I mean like 3.25 for a Tropicana that is $ 1.25 in the neighborhood and $ 2.00 in Manhattan. I have no clue where they get their prices. The seating can be a bit cramped depending on the time of day, so sitting down may not be an option. I am a fan of the french toast with fresh strawberries as well as the BLT They do not serve pork so if you dig swine this ain’t your jam.

Went in here thinking it would be similar to Fresh & Co. which was near my old office. I was wrong. After ordering a salad, employee #1 realized they were out of both spinach and romaine, and told employee #2 about it. Employee #2 then spent his time splitting up the tip jar between the both of them(instead of rushing to help stock the items). He then handled the cash WITHHISGLOVESON, stuffed it in his pockets, then disappeared downstairs. Meanwhile I am left to wait for the greens to be restocked. Some other employees come up and wander around doing nothing, while I am still waiting, and finally one guy comes up with the new greens. There are about 4 people behind the counter now and none of them are restocking the greens, and I am still waiting, while other people behind me are getting helped. Employee #2 still has his gloves on… I can only image the type of contamination that goes on here seeing as they don’t change gloves after handling non-food items. Employee #1 looks visibly irritated with his fellow co-workers since no one is helping to restock the food, so he grabs the lettuce from the box/bins that they brought up and continued to finish my salad. Next comes checkout. After swiping my card the employee at the register stands there and says nothing, doesn’t hand me my receipt, nothing. I am waiting thinking that maybe my card is processing or I will get a receipt. After a while I ask if I am good to go and she says yes, so I reach over the counter and have to grab my own bag, and not a «thank you» or anything. I am also left to figure out where to get a fork since one was not included in my bag. Finally I get back to my office and the salad is completely tasteless. Is the dressing made out of water? I got a generous amount of ginger sesame dressing, and there is still no flavor. Waste of $ 7. Save your time and money and go elsewhere, like Hale & Hearty or Just Salad who have much better customer service and food quality.

At first glance, this place place oddly resembles Fresh&co’s branding, so I walked in here thinking it was the sandwich/soup shop I knew so well. I was surprised to realize it was a totally different restaurant, but decided to give it a shot and I am glad I did. They have an awesome $ 6 lunch special. I got the salad, which give you a protein and 5 toppings. The salad was delicious, fresh, and similar to the Just Salad version right across the street. At half the price of a Just Salad lunch, it felt like a steal. Check it out when you get a chance and avoid the lines at the large salad shops!

I was working an event across the street at Citibank and decided to go here for their $ 6 lunch special. So glad I did. I got the pesto chicken sandwich. They warm it up for you too. The bread is by far the best part of this sandwich– yummy crunchy focaccia bread. The manager greeted me with a smile and gave me the lunch special deal even though I was 15 minutes early(the deal is 11:30−4pm). The special includes any sandwich or salad or pasta. I highly recommend the chicken pesto sandwich. Yum! Great service, no wait, and great deal.

Ordered for the delivery and the food never came. When I called in the person on the phone was of no help. I don’t understand how businesses like this stay open. They will never see my money/business.

Got a smoothie with and it tasted like ice. My friend got one with banana and berries and hers taste only like banana. Terrible. They didn’t know what they were doing at all. They were not measuring out anything

After tasting my bacon egg and cheese sandwich I really wanted to go back and jump over the counter and just make it myself.

Can’t believe they have only 3 stars. Had a chicken fresco sandwich yesterday and it was DELICIOUS, I’m already planning to get a new sandwich each day this week(carbs be damned) Prices are good and got my sammy in 20 mins, doesn’t get much better than that

So I go to this place a ton because they have tuna and Chinese noodles in the chopped salad bar– which are my 2 fav things to put in a salad but I really keep considering not going anymore because 1. The guys who makes the salad is always in a bad mood and is so rude. He doesn’t pay attention to what I’m saying always messes up my salad. 2. Since I stopped going in bc of the salad guy I order delivery to avoid him and the delivery half the time doesn’t come as the correct order. So in summation– I can’t go in bc of the salad guy and I can’t order delivery bc they suck at making the order correct. I really like the salad when it comes right so I hope they fix these problems– till then 2 stars.

Are you in the mood for room temperature beef sliders, chicken fingers, jalapeño poppers and crab cakes? Look no further! Flavors is the place for you! We ordered catering baskets from them full of the above mentioned. $ 400 worth. And when they arrived they were stone cold. Every place messes up now and then. So I thought a phone call to them might resolve the problem. Turns out, as per a supervisor, they were SUPPOSED to arrive at that temperature! But just for my troubles, I can have 10% on my NEXT order. Next order? Next order?! When I have a client that walks through my door with a hankering for room temperature sliders, I’ll be sure to give y’all a ring.

First let me just say that I really like Flavors. I love that fact that they sell fresh, organic food and you even cater to us vegans One thing that I have to complain about is about a few employees that work there. Its seems to me that at times they have an attitude with you if you correct them. For instance. Today I went to purchase the Southwestern Quinoa bowl. Which consists of: Grilled chicken, roasted peppers, cilantro, cherry tomatoes, red beans, kale, scallions, corn, tossed with sweet chili sauce. I asked for vegan chicken instead of «real» chicken. The guy preparing it asked me three times if I wanted both. I clearly stated VEGAN chicken. After almost yelling at him he finally got it. Then I watched him as he prepared the bowl. I noticed that he forgot add the scallions. I asked him if he added them he didn’t respond and went to add them to the pan. I had also told him that I wanted extra kale which he didn’t even acknowledge me. I had to ask him a second time at that time he added it but again gave me an attitude about it. As I am a paying customer I should have the right as to how I want my food cooked right? So I politely asked him to please not overcook the kale, and at that point he proceeded to add the quinoa then gave me my food. During all this he didn’t crack a smile and exhibit an attitude like he was bothered. I went to pay for my food but took a peek at my bowl before the cashier put it in a bag and what I purchased didn’t look no way near to the display that I saw on the counter. I mentioned that to the cashier as well. I came back to my office to eat my lunch only to find he forgot the cherry tomatoes and cilantro that are supposed to be in this bowl. Now I am not sure what is going on but clearly this employee doesn’t know the recipes. This isn’t right. we as paying customers shouldn’t have to go through this. Now I cannot speak for all the employees there as I have been going to this Flavors for some time now and have had pleasant encounters by some of them. I send this email to the main corporate office. Sorry but I had to. I am sick and tired of having to go through crap like this when I am paying for my food. I give flavors three stars because like I said for the most part I like their food. And not all employees there are rude. But the corporate office needs to address these things before people stop going there …

This is my go-to spot when I need a quick meal for Breakfast or Lunch. Nice, friendly, quick service with a large variety of different options to choose from. They have many healthy options from Salads, Sandwiches, Quinoa Bowls, Fresh made Pasta Dishes, soups, smoothies, etc. They also have an amazing looking dessert counter that is very hard to stay away from. I highly recommend the South Beach Wrap or the Quinoa Bowls for breakfast. And for lunch they have very decently priced custom salad that you can put A LOT of toppings in! It’s the most toppings for your dollar at this place! They have a few chairs/counters to sit at, but it’s mostly a take out/deli type of service.

Just went into this store. The service guy was extremely rude to the customer before me and myself. He them proceeded to attempt to use the same bowl for that customer to serve up my food for the pan even though it’s clear each customer gets their own to go bowl. When I asked for a fresh one, he tossed it in a huff. After he started mixing all the serving tongs with different items while dishing out his attitude and my protein, I finally walked out and probably won’t be returning.

The quinoa bowls are not so much a healthy choice. The bowls come drowning in oil and the turkey meatballs and beef sausage(aka kielbasa sausage) were pretty salty. The sauces were decent– very teriyaki and scallion ginger but the raw veggies looked just ok. The mushrooms they use are from the can. The Napa cabbage was bitter. Fresh and co. Hands down makes a better quinoa bowl. May be more pricier but the portion and quality of ingredients are worth it!

My go to spot for breakfast and a quick lunch for my 9 to 5 schedule. Nice service though it can be a bit backed up in the morning. My go to would be the kale egg white platters. Super healthy and fresh. The oatmeal or cream of wheat with toppings included and the lunch soups. Go for the italian wedding. Great turkey meatballs in a flavorful soup. Even the prepared meals are great. The thai chicken salad or the tofu salad were all made fresh and had a nice flavor. It’s a bit pricey but they have solid dishes. Tip: go for the rewards card as you get $ 5 off every $ 100 spent.

I dont know why there are so many negative reviews posted here. I am writing this Unilocal after eating an amazing sandwich. Had a break from A&P class at nearby Touro College and I was on search for a great sandwich. Came here as per my wifeys recommendation. Should said Flavors had a sandwich and soup deal for under $ 10.I was like«word». In the city, thats pretty cheap. So I came through, perused the menu and in my limited time remaining opted for the Grilled Filet of Salmon. Man oooooo man, it was off the chain. It came with roasted tomotoes, arugula, and low fat basil aioli on an 8 grain baguette. So… need I say more? It was a cascade of taste perfectly articulated with my digestive system. Even the aroma of the place is nice. The nice aroma of fresh food being produced, not that backdoor alley aroma where the garbage is thrown out . Things to try next time : BAKEDCHICKENCUTLER CRANBERRYTURKEYSALAD FALAFELBURGER(maybe lol) Check it out, Unilocalers. The one in Chelsea. Cant vouch for other locations. Damn, im late to class.

Shifty pushing practices. Ordered the $ 6.99 advertised half soup half sandwich combo. «$ 7.99?» I point to the $ 6.99 sign. Counter guy makes a big deal about how small the bowl is and how he’s upgrading me to the bigger soup. Pours it out for me. I figure it’s a slow day and they need to get rid of the soup; they’re being nice to the customers. Nope. I get charged extra for more soup I didn’t ask for. Paid it but expressed my displeasure. Walked out feeling my a*s was a little sore.

I stumbled upon Flavors on a recent quest for soup. The smells coming out of the storefront were very good so I thought to myself they probably make good soups as well. I ordered myself a cup of their Organic Split Pea Soup. It wasn’t too expensive(slightly under $ 4) and comes with a side of bread. As far as flavoring goes, it wasn’t bad at all, but the soup was definitely watered down and I prefer a bit more substance. I’ll likely be back to try out their sandwiches because it really did smell so good. Service was lickety-split quick. I was in and out of there within 3 minutes!

A new café in the Flatiron District that offers organic with a vegetarian conscience. With a company move, I came to a consensus of adjusting to Chelsea with little options for food and cafes or deli’s. Flavors Café produced one onion bagel toasted at $ 1.19 and opt for a small bottle of water at $ 1.50. The cream cream was one big tube of goo slapped onto the bread of the bagel which was also somewhat salty. I used their 10% discount coupon for first time visit. Service is efficient and the queue move in sporadic intervals. Flavors Café conveniently sits on the corner of the 23rd Street F train. With a strict budget in mind, I would not return to Flavors as they are extremely overpriced. Panini’s are $ 7.29, their so-called«cutting edge sandwiches» are $ 7.25, and wrap sandwiches are $ 6.99? Whoa, what to do break into a bank in order to live and eat?! Flavors does not offer a whole lot of flavor to my life: «But if that salt has lost its flavor It ain’t got much in its favor!!»
