The salads are good. The lines can be huge at lunchtime due to NYU having a bunch of soft ass college kids instead of dumb fat drunk college kids. The closest I got to a salad in college was smoking weed. Regardless you never wait more than a few minutes. They don’t accept currency of a certain value, which actually ruined my last salad experience. When the woman at the counter said I couldn’t pay with a fifty, I had to actually mumble mumble and leave the store. Ended up eating pizza. Can’t say I was too mad. But if you’re soft, or like salads, it’s great.

I really want to like this place — it’s close to my work and reasonably priced. However, the quality control in regard to food prep is lacking. Every time I get kale in my salad, it is incredibly gritty. Like eating a salad at the beach. Please make sure you wash your ingredients.

For some reason the employees here have a fetish for chopping everything into oblivion. I’ve seen them chop my salad into baby food when I’ve specifically ordered tossed. Earlier today, when I got a wrap and asked if the ingredients had to be chopped, I was told that’s the only way they can make a wrap(nonsense — Au Bön Pain does an almost identical wrap to the one I get without chopping anything). So I said that I didn’t want it to be chopped too much. Of course, the guy went to town on it. At one point, I even asked him to stop, but he did not. I was about to walk out and go elsewhere for lunch when another worker told him that he’d done too much and to stop. My food was nearly ground into dust. When some of it fell out of the wrap, it was so granular that I couldn’t pick it up with my fingers and had to get a spoon. I understand that NYU kids are a big part of the customer base, but this obsession with turning every damn order into baby food is awful. Short of walking out of the store when they refuse to stop chopping the hell out of my food, is there any way to stop this???

I just waited 3 hours and the salad never arrived. I called and cancelled the order and will never attempt to order from them again.

AWFUL delivery service. I live 10 blocks from the restaurant and I can’t leave my place today. Delivery was estimated at 60 to 70 minutes and it is almost 3 hours later with no salad. I called the number for help and they said they would send it right over and it should only take 10 minutes. It has now been another half hour. I won’t order from here ever again.

The salads are so filling and healthy! A must if you’re trying to eat clean, or just want to try a delicious salad. I got the Hudson Valley Mix, and I personally am not a big fan of salads(I just think they’re a little boring) and I LOVED this salad! Definitely will be back again and again.

I’ve seen mixed reviews thus far but my first experience was fortunately good! The cashier was super nice and the salad was pretty decent for a fully vegetarian one. Think the ingredients could have been fresher but I still enjoyed it!

Just Salad is a necessary evil. Can’t say the service is the best here, but girls gotta have her salad. Just Salad definitely tops Fresh&Co in terms of variety. The salads are always pretty fresh and the bread is good. I would recommend the Smokehouse Steak Salad. It’s my go-to salad. Beware if you order on Seamless: I feel as if they always get my order wrong and one time I only got 5 small pieces of chicken. ‘Twas a sad day. Also service in store isn’t much better. I once waited 20 minutes for a salad. I was one of two customers in the store. Sigh.

My salad(one of their signature salads) always gets messed up– I don’t understand why. I can’t help but think it’s because the staff always seems to be talking to each other instead of paying attention to the salads– missing toppings, wrong dressings, etc. If you go during a busy time you are apt to have your salad made and be out of there in 3 or so mins– if it’s not busy and there are no managers around be prepared to wait at least 10mins– makes no sense. When they’re on top of it it’s great; when they are not it’s the worst. This location is very hit or miss and it’s too pricy to have so many mistakes.

the workers here are extremely incompetent. I’m convinced they will hire any high school dropout. every time I order, either in person or online, something is wrong about my order. once I paid for extra onions as an additional topping and they forgot to put it in(ordered on seamless). sometimes they forget to give me bread, sometimes they forget to chop the salad, and sometimes they don’t substitute a specific item correctly. most recently, I ordered a steak salad. obviously there were issues yet again– they forgot the steak. how do you forget to put steak into the STEAK salad? I realized when I got home that my salad was missing the steak, so I walked back to ask for a replacement. the manager said they could remake it, and I had to wait on the line yet again for the salad that I should have gotten half an hour ago. will take my money to fresh n co next time

It pains me to write this review because I loved Just Salad. Since undergrad, it’s been my go-to for a quick, healthy meal. But my dining experience was soured a couple weeks ago when I overheard two employees joking about a gay employee and talking about her in a derogatory homophobic way. Worse, the guy who seemed to be the manager on duty clearly heard the remarks and didn’t say anything or shut down the offensive conversation. He just kind of nodded. Are there really no standards anymore? Appetite=lost

My second favorite place after Sweet Green to spend $ 12 on an overpriced salad. They do offer a reusable bowl for $ 1 which gives you one free cheese and two essentials though. Still not worth it. But I keep coming back. #Imweak Probably from not eating a steak.

I love the staff and the salad’s are good. However, the customer service and management is not good at all. The manager is screaming at everyone, and they make mistakes because they are trying to rush. I’d rather wait a few extra minutes and have the right salad, then be disappointed. If there was another option, I’d so somewhere else. A manager has even been rude to me, simply while taking my order. Not the best customer service. But everyone else is always really nice and professional.

There was a little more than just salad here, such as smoothies: P Anyways, I had the california salad, which consisted of chicken, egg whites, almonds and an avocado amongst tons of leaves. It was okkk… didn’t taste as fresh as some other salad spots I’ve been to.

a bit on the pricey side but I expected that. I was really confused when 1st coming here because the menu is very extensive and many things seem to cost extra. I felt rushed as well. I ordered a wrap and the bread and chicken seemed a bit dry and stale. Will not be returning

Always get the order wrong. They redid my order and sent me the wrong salad AGAIN. I’ll never order from this place again.

This place gives salad a good name. It’s the beginning of the year so that means, Drop that donut, fatty. You may be tempted to buy a sandwich or a burger. Stop it. Run to JustSalad before your mind can justify not eating Godly food, fruits and veggies. This salad shop is clean and spacious. The staff have high energy and are courteous. The array of salad choices ensures there is something for every palate. Eat. Drink. Sip. Be Merry. Pat yourself on the back you did a good job. Your body will thank you. My only con is it is too cold in here. Crank that heat!

The best version of the custom salad bar. Great combinations, awesome homemade dressings(chilled avocado, sherry shallot, horseradish chive) you’re full and it’s guilt free! Additionally I skip the juice press and get the detox juice here. Kale lemon apple pineapple healthy and tasty

Desperately hungry on a treacherous weekday afternoon, redeemed some LevelUp global credit here. Unfortunately I ordered a Hudson Valley Mix and they decided to serve up a California instead, despite their own clear circling on the slip they hand you to bring to the register. Andrea — presumably a manager as she was dressed and acting differently than the staffers behind the counter — asked when I’d next be back in and nonchalantly said she’d take care of me next time, apparently not realizing that to some people tossing some chicken and eggs into a salad that shouldn’t have them might be an issue. Decent salad with chipotle vinaigrette(when they were finally able to find it amidst the sauces, for which they couldn’t produce a list for me to order off of, apparently assuming I’d want the one they prescribe on the board below the item). Transaction Amount $ 9.46 Credit Applied — $ 9.46 Total Spent $ 0.00 California Salad Transaction Amount $ 21.10 Track Bowl $ 0.00 Chix Chorizo BL x 2 $ 9.69 Other* * tax or other one-off adjustments $ 11.41 Total Balance $ 21.10

The salads are large and amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m disappointed in myself for going to Campus Eatery to get salads for such a long time!
