Turn down your music, I have never heard a thing your employees have ever mumbled to me EVER, and give them some coffee or something.

I ordered a mixed green salad. Everyone here is quite pleasant and it’s a nice place, but the salad was really expensive and the drinks there are really expensive too. I mixed my own salad and they only allow a small section of free toppings. Other places I went to, allowed meats or eggs as a choice for a free topping. Here, you are stuck with scallions or corn and no meat options at all. On top of that, it was $ 7.62(tax included). I went to another place that cost only $ 6.50 with a free drink of your choice, AND they allowed meats/eggs are a free topping. I wouldn’t come back here again. I liked the Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette though.

I ordered a salad and it was fast and efficient. They don’t chop up the salad tho, only toss it for you. This location is right outside of the train station, super convenient.

I generally come here on weekends when I don’t have the cash to go to Bagel Bob’s and don’t want to go out of my way to visit the bank. Today, they charged me an extra dollar for the cheese I asked for of which I found none when I opened up the sandwich at home. All you need to know is that I’m not very surprised based on the usual lack of attention the cooks give customers. The people who work here are always nice, but that gets overshadowed by their consistent incompetence.

I keep coming here. The food isn’t outstanding, but it’s relatively healthy and a quick lunch option around NYU. I feel like ~$ 10 for a salad is a bit pricey, but I keep returning for the convenience. Service has always been fast and courteous. I like their quinoa bowls(I don’t know how they make their quiona so flavorful) — but it’s best to order the bowls the way they’ve set them up. You can order them with different proteins, but I made the mistake of ordering the bangkok bowl with the thai-spiced turkey and I was really thirsty afterwards. I wasn’t too impressed with their mushroom soup or their grilled steak and fontina sandwich. I found the steak chewy. But I like their puebla. It’s vegan and that makes me feel a little better about giving the animals a break and avoiding dairy at the same time. The puebla’s surprisingly creamy and there is some sort of spice in there. I believe a Mexican one, most likely with the grilled corn and black beans, mixed into the smashed avocado. It’s flavored just right. I would recommend it to non-vegans. I also order their egg sandwiches on a egg muffin with turkey sausage. You won’t really miss the pork in these sausages. Stay away from their oatmeal with quinoa. They use water to reconstitute the oatmeal and the dish lacks flavor and creaminess because of it. I’ve made better oatmeal at home.

I don’t know why I keep coming back to this place. I’ve been here 4 times since they opened and each time I’m annoyed. First time I came I got sick. The next 2 times I just wasn’t happy with my food or the price I paid. This last time I ordered and egg white omelet with mushrooms, kale and canadian bacon. When I go to my office I realized that they gave me full eggs. Fine I’ll live. But the omlet itself was gross. Overly salty and the kale had a weird taste to it. Never again.

Have been here twice and have mixed feelings. The first time I went I had the Coconut Chia Pudding and let me tell you — it was amazing. It was the first time I had ever had a chia pudding, but it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with FRESHLY cut strawberries and granola to put in it. Seriously better and probably healthier than Starbucks’ yogurt parfaits. The second time I went I got the oatmeal with skim milk and it was mediocre, personally, I make better oatmeal myself, but I just didn’t have time that morning. I also got an iced cappuccino, which I usually put 1 Splenda in, but they did not have any! I was seriously disappointed. Although they don’t have artificial sweeteners, its a convenient location for me to pick up an easy breakfast and I still have to try it for lunch!

Ugh! Fresh&Co made me so sick! I was working on my final papers for graduate school two years ago. I went to grab something to eat. I was being extra careful about my gluten-free diet specifically because I didn’t want to get sick during finals. I spoke with the staff about my gluten allergy and they helped me find something that was«gluten-free». I was excited by how welcoming and understanding they were. They seemed to really understand what a gluten allergy is. I got back to the library and to my paper. A few bites into my meal I started getting extremely sleepy and swelling up all over. I had to run for my allergy medicine, drink lots of water, and sleep off my allergic reaction. This was not something I needed during finals! I lost time that I was planning on using to get my work done. If my allergy was worse, I could have ended up in the hospital. Please DONOT advertise yourself as having gluten-free options when you really DONOT offer them! People with gluten allergies or other allergies — beware!

Want to try this new veggie roll so I went and got the Pad Thai one. The vegetable on the outside is fresh, but somehow the sauce inside is really spicy and does not go with the whole thing at all, not to mention the smoked tofu. Pad Thai is supposed to be sweet with a bit of peanut taste! Not spicy! And I also got the detox juice which costs more than $ 8 and even more expensive than the roll. Alright next time I will go with the salad or bowl.

There are very little vegetables in the salad. They are really cheap about adding vegetables other than lettuces. I cannot believe so many students eat these salads.

Sure it’s delicious, but the pricing is incredibly pompous. It’s a joke that there is NOSTUDENTDISCOUNT. And the bread they give is terrible. Double check how much something costs before paying – they’re very sneaky about not labeling the most infuriating prices. Quinoa bowls are super filling and delicious. So is soup. But honestly – only worth it for breakfast, when prices are slightly cheaper.

I went to a new one that I cannot find listed up by union square. It was awful. One of the employees was mopping and nearly knocked me off of the stool i was sitting on while bashing the mop into it. This other guy, i guess a manager, was over his shoulder screaming about how to mop. a simple wrap took way longer than it should have because the staff didn’t stop talking to each other.

This location is so close to my office that sometimes it is my best choice when I only have a few minutes to step out and get something to eat at my desk. The salads are ridiculously overpriced. Additionally, even though I get the same thing every time(lettuce, tomato, cucumber, goat cheese, chicken, avocado), the price changes every time I am there. I also get a soda. Prices for the same exact order have varied from $ 13 to over $ 16. That’s pretty ridiculous for a salad and a soda. It’s also crazy that the price changes every time. If you ask why, you’ll never get a straight answer.

*** Quick service, Array of food items, Breakfast/Salad Review *** This place has very standard service and there are a lot of food options for you to select from. I’ve ordered a bagel here(they can mix up the cream cheese selection if you like) and oatmeal(pretty standard). I’ve also had their salad which is pretty filling. There’s nothing that special about this place, but if you’re in a hurry to pick something up chances are this place has what you want. You can also find yogurt, drinks, coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc here.

This store is more expensive than other Fresh & Co. The same salad will be $ 9.99 on their website, but $ 10.25 in this store. And they use much smaller spoons for the ingredients. As a chain store, you should keep your quality and quantity the same. This store is definitely worse than the most of others. I love Fresh & Co. In Midtown. Not going to come by this store anymore.

yo it fresh, but i’d never take any co(mpany) here. it’s more like work/in-between classes/post-gym/takeout eats. fresh & co. is a food chain, doing a solid job of serving healthful-esque eats to folks tired of paying $ 12 – 15 for salads or waiting on line at CHOPT. when i need a dinner of a fresh chopped veggies and a little bit of dressing for under 8 bucks(with TAX) this is my place, especially when i am way too lazy to make my own salad. i order the exact same custom salad here every time – it’s very GROUNDHOGSDAY. i’m boring when i’m lazy. not fresh at all. evening workout, sweated to the max, roll in and out of there in under 7 minutes, and get home in another 7 minutes. i am not a fan of structure, but this works for me. like i said my meals here are boring because they are the same thing every time. however fresh & co. does serve hot and cold breakfast that are more carby than their lunch and dinner offerings, hot foods(quinoa bowls), baguette/wraps/paninis etc. all brightly displayed on their giant menus and glass display case(sandwiches)! what i like about this joint is the choice of different locally-sourced base greens for a custom salad: kale, mesclun, spinach, romaine hearts, and arugula. then you can order 4 additional veggies and there is like a fantasy island of dressing choices from your staple ones to ultra fat-free to fancy ones like creamy sriracha. the food is just okay to me. solidly prepared. however there’s not anything that blows my mind away. then again, i never really explore the menu here. i order the same thing every time, however… whether it’s my unchanging order or seeing other eats… nothing makes me fiend for the food at fresh & co. however it does the job when i know i have been slacking on the multiple servings of veggies in a day. sorry wish i could be more glowing. the food just is here. the layout of the space is open and mod. lots of white with accents of mint green. everything else is functional mental and glass for counter, service, cooking, chopping, etc. the lighting is bright, but not creepy. there are at least 6 – 8 small tables clustered on the floor space. and bathrooms in the very back. the service: workers who always make my never-changing salad are all smiles, friendly, and fast. no complaints. there’s a fresh & co app. so every $ 100 you spend there… you get 9 bucks back. so there’s that plus. what thing that irks me at this location though is that the cashiers(not the other workers) seem pretty despondent. every time i cashout… i am like«need a bag with this salad.» i pay, wait for the salad to get bagged, and then i repeat or threepeat myself which seems to awake said cashier zombie to bag the salad. this wouldn’t be a big deal except it’s happened like 30+ times. saving the environment is cool as much as the next guy… but if a person needs a bag for one’s takeout, pay attention YO! i will say breakfast and lunch are probably primetime packed hours bc it’s a ghost town in the evening. so plan accordingly or don’t! drops the mic & keeps it FRESH without tic tacs!

This place was busy! Good sign that the food is good, so I gave it a try. They have a big selection of panini sandwiches ready-made on display. The chicken fresco panini sandwich looked good; they heated and toasted it for me. Tasted good too. I’ll definitely come back to try other items. Cons: there’s so many customers that it’s difficult to know where lines for the prep stations begin or which customer is next to get serviced. Most of the employees seem very friendly, but just my luck my cashier was in a really pissy mood and even told her coworker«sick of this. blah blah». If you don’t like your job then quit you wench!

I have a love/hate situation with this place. It’s great to have healthy options so close to my office, especially as cold weather approaches(the next closest places are McD’s, Pizza, and Halal Cart). As everyone else has said, be prepared to pay. It can get spendy fast. The salads are pretty standard to be so expensive, but the quinoa bowls are fantastic. I usually get the Mediterranean Bowl with feta, olives, and kale. The soups are good too and the split pea is vegan(most places use ham). Service is hit or miss. I recently placed a large order for pickup, thinking it would be a nice alternative to deli platters for a luncheon meeting. When I arrived to pick up, turned out they’d lost my order. There was a scramble to get everything prepped and packed. I ended up arriving late and nothing was labeled as I’d expected but there were no complaints about the quality of the food. The whole team got on board to rush my order and two managers and a cashier all came to apologize. Mistakes happen, they rebounded well.

Food is ok, but service is horrible! Are these kids students forced to work here? Everyone has an attitude, or has no idea how to deal. Even the girl putting a lid on my soup was awkward. Service really really sucks.
