Wow. Unbelievably bad. Happy hour draft beer: $ 3. But sign outside doesn’t say which draft beers. Neither do the bartenders, even after I asked. Lagunitas was $ 6. Total was $ 6.45. Gave a $ 20. Got back $ 13. I said to bartender«where’s the rest of my change?» After it took two of the bartenders at least 7 minutes to figure out how to open the register, i got the rest of my change back. I still left a buck tip. But this whole bait and switch BS is pissing me off in Inwood,

Went there on a Thursday night. Possibly had the worse server known to man. We were sat by the host which was very nice. The server came up(a little Latin man) and said. «What do you want to drink». We ordered and drinks came. Never asked if we wanted apps. We finished our drinks and waited 15 – 20 for server to show up. He finally shows and said«oh you guys ordering food too?» By this time I was annoyed and wanted to leave but still gave it a chance. I guess he didn’t want to serve our table anymore Bc a very nice server came and finished the rest of our order. She was amazing. Didn’t catch her name. But on the receipt the name was Yury. She saved the day but sadly it was my first and will be my last time going there. Maybe it could have been Bc we were the only men in his section or could have been that we were gay. But inwood grill will no longer get any of my business. 3 stars are for the amazing server that took over. If she would have been our from the beginning, it would have been an awesome experience.

Since management has changed, so has my review. The venue itself is one of the biggest spots in the area and has plenty of tables, TVs and a place for a DJ/band. They have improved the menu, with specials every day and brunch on Sunday is spectacular with a fixed price, depending on your liking.

The problem here is that they want to take your money without earning it. The bartender has the worst personality that I’ve ever seen in my life. They charge you $ 6 dollar for a crab cake when you order the Happy Hour Crab Cakes! You notice the S right? So, I ordered the happy hour crab cakes and only received one tiny crab cake. I ate it, it was good, but $ 6 dollar for it shit! I pay for it and tipped because I felt like I have to and left, but I will never be back. They should closed it and open a good gym. That’s the only thing that Inwood is missing.

I agree with some of the other reviews for this place. The food is bland, overpriced and it seems the only good thing about this place are the beers, they do have a decent selection. The décor is also nice, and the rear patio is beautiful. Service was ok but the host(ess) was not friendly at all and seemed bothered to have to seat us. Overall, I’d recommend this place for drinks and décor only. Ultimately I don’t think I’d be back there are other places that offer better prices and food very close by.

1 of the biggest sports bar in dyckman. Perfect place to watch the games and boxing. Upstairs and downstairs. A lot of tables and seating area. The chicken wings are great. You can get the extra crispy or any way you like them. The DJ plays mostly Spanish music every once in a while he mixes it up with rap and pop. They have hookah on request. Downstairs turns into a lounge where u can dance and chill.

This review is based on my first visit to Inwood Bar and Grill(though I was here many times when it was District 12.) When it was District 12, I would always sit at the bar to have dinner and drinks. When it was District 12, I was always greeted by the bartender, given a napkin, asked what my drink would be, if I needed to see a menu. I’d get the menu. A few minutes after viewing the menu, the bartender would be back to ask if I was ready to order. They would check on how my food was shortly after it arrived. They would check to see if I needed water. They would check to see if I need another cocktail. As I finished my meal. they would ask if I’d like dessert. ALLOFTHISQUALITYSERVICEHASDISAPPEARED since they became Inwood Bar & Grill. Tonight, my first visit to this establishment under the new name«Inwood Bar and Grill», was an exercise in futility. It’s not like the bar was crammed with people and the«bartender» was overworked. On the contrary. There really weren’t that many people at the bar, but the«bartenders» just seemed to be distracted with, I dunno, something else other than the job they were supposed to be doing. Flirting with guys at the opposite end of the bar? Dancing? OOOOOH that’s a good song! Ummmmmm… there are people here trying to order drinks, get the check, HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! No attention. NOTIP. Sincerely, A former waitress and bartender who would NEVER ignore any customer the way I was completely ignored tonight. Especially when the volume of customers was completely manageable.

Came here after work for some drinks and food. The décor is really cool, that’s what made me want to come here in the first place. Lots of highchair tables, a bar. The place is spacious and nicely lit. As for food & drinks, I ordered the chinola mojito, it tasted like sour lime juice, I wouldn’t recommend it at all, I also had the mushroom burger(it has a different name but it’s the only burger with mushrooms in it). The burger was bland, no flavor. It was good quality meat, but it wasn’t flavorful at all. Our waiter was ok, I checked in on Unilocal, and saw we could get 10% off the bill, according to him we couldn’t use it, but would give us 15% off when we come back(complete bs because he ended up just doing it). The place is nice, but really, only come here for beer, wings, and to watch games on their huge screens that are mounted everywhere(pretty cool might I add).

My cousin hosted a party of 40 here for her bday this past weekend and we were waited on by Elizabeth and Karina. They were fantastic to us and I honestly don’t know how they kept the drinks flowing and food coming for so many people. Not one food or drink order was messed up. I had steak and eggs with fries and yuca fries; delicious. The mimosas were great(not watered-down like most places) and sangrias were very strong. The prix fixe brunch is a good portion for a great value and you get 2 hours of drinks(6 options, not just sangria & mimosas); highly recommended. We hung out by the bar after brunch and those waitresses were quick and very friendly as well. For the sports fans, there are plenty of TVs all over the place. A+ all around, for this place. We will definitely be back in the summer when the patio opens.

Man, the worst food I ever had. The Buffalo wings were pure salt and vinegar; I ordered a shot of Macallan 12, I swear it was Johnny Walker Black. The steak, «Bone-in NY Strip, salty, with no bone. Someone had mashed potatoes, they returned it, the damn thing looked like oatmeal. The well done churrasco, was charcoaled. This is a far, far cry from when it was District 12.

Burnt bacon. Cold eggs. Unresponsive servers. Not burying the lede. The Inwood Bar and Grill serves beautifully plated food … eventually. Sometimes it’s even what you ordered. We arrived here just before 11:30 on a Sunday with a large group. We were happy to see an empty table for 10. In fact, the place was empty.(Perhaps that should have been a sign.) Around 12, the coffee finally arrived. We had to send one of the mugs back because it had lipstick. A few minutes later, drinks arrived. Meanwhile, the table beside us was enjoying their food.(They arrived a good 20 minutes after we did.) The brunch menu is ridiculously overpriced. Especially for Inwood. The eggs florentine is(at $ 21) more expensive than the eggs benedict. Steak and eggs is $ 25. Why? Drinks. Drinks are included. You don’t want to drink? Meh. Food started arriving at 12:15. We thought the delay was to ensure everyone was served at the same time. We were wrong. My order arrived with the wrong side. When I sent it back, it retuned with the correct side, along with some bacon I didn’t order. A dining companion’s home fries were cold. Both sides of bacon were burnt. The toast — which came after two reminders — was garlic bread. Odd. The waiter didn’t bring ketchup or hot sauce until prompted. Don’t want a boozy brunch? Go elsewhere. Don’t want to be ripped off? Go elsewhere. Don’t want to wait 45 minutes for your food? Go elsewhere.

Great service really impressed by the renovations they cover all sporting events Live DJ played up to date music and classics. The food came in a timely manner. But most of all I love the drama free environment. Definitely would recommend to a friend

Went this past Friday evening, to have a few drinks and dinner. We ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer and while the actual dip was good, the pita chips were almost crushed and barely able to scoop up any of the dip. I wasn’t too hungry so ordered the crab cakes as my entrée, awful! They were tiny and granted yes it was an appetizer but even then it was a tiny portion, not even a child would have been satisfied. It came with«salad» that was a joke! Some greens in the middle with no dressing or anything, it was a garnish. The crab cake tasted as if were microwaved. My husband had the stuffed sole and that was also very bland and just not good. My son had the Burger and asked for them to add bacon. They put two tiny bits of bacon, to the point my son was about to let our server know they forgot to add it. But when he opened it up he realized they were actually there. To think we paid for a side of bacon, ridiculous. Our server barely spoke English and when she realized we spoke Spanish was so relieved. However she hardly paid any attention to us or checked in with us. Her excuse on the one time she did as that they were so busy! They weren’t. When our bill came I knew why, they automatically added 18% gratuity. For the service we received and the quality of the food, it was not worthy of 18%. We will not be returning. Shame as its so close to home. The drinks were good and so was the dj but the food leaves a lot to be desired !!

We walked in literally 2 mins before happy hour ended. We asked if we could still get drinks at happy hour prices and without hesitation our request was granted for the first round. So cool. We ordered a bunch of apps and they were all yummy. I’d definitely return.

Went here last night and it was pretty good. Not amazing or anything, but I was content when I finished my meal. I had the burger and instead of the regular fries that come with it, I asked for truffle fries which I don’t think they charged me extra for they also have nice presentation with the food however I don’t think I would be eager to come back to this place because their prices are too high.

This review is solely based on my visit for brunch. I’ve eaten at this place a couple of times when it was District 12, never amazing, but usually decent. As most other people are saying, they are a few dollars above what their food/neighborhood merits. For brunch I had the chicken and waffles, cost was $ 22 with 2 drinks included. Drinks were meh, just go for the angry orchard if you want a brunch buzz. It came with 2 scrawny, greasy pieces of chicken and 1 waffle cut in fours on a skewer on a bed of arugula. Didn’t make much sense to me. The waffle was cold and the service even colder. Will probably try back for dinner in a few months. Hopefully things get worked out over there.

This place was District 12. Not a lot has changed aside from branding. Same zillion TVs, same bar, same upstairs/downstairs. The HAVE stopped auto adding gratuities and that’s nice. Food was always hit or miss. I suspect that will continue, however the meal I had last night was fine. Nothing amazing. Very, very loud and they only play cover songs of popular songs. No one there has any idea why they do that.
