Go drinks but not for restaurant. That’s the bottom line. Food service is marginal. Additionally, we pre purchased 3 adult 3-course meals thru NYCVP travel agency. NYCVP ensured all was set, but our vouchers were not updated to indicate 3 meals. Upon presentation, we were told only 2 would be honored not 3. And the food was cold, dry, and the desserts are mass produced. Brock was attentive server and the others made us feel rushed to finish. I would only go back for drinks. Stay away as restaurant.

Typical theater distract crap. Decided to give it a shot after watching a show. Pizza, hummus & pasta The ONLY positive part of this was the friendly hostess and the both we sat in. Learn from my lesson…

My mom and I grabbed dinner at Hurley’s after experiencing Hamilton on Broadway. Unfortunately our dining experience did not compare to our theater experience. The best thing about it was the cute little table with a view of the street that we sat at. I ordered the Chicken Berry Hill and my mom ordered Shrimp Scampi. Unfortunately when the shrimp arrived it smelled VERY fishy which kind of ruined our appetites. We ended up sharing my chicken dish which was just okay but I wouldn’t order it again. It literally came with two asparagus spears(one for each of us) and the sauce was not what I expected it to be. The saving grace was definitely the cheesecake because I haven’t met many cheesecakes I don’t like. I did eat the entire piece before setting off in search of a slice of pizza.

After walking around Times Square for a while we started coming down so we made a bee line to a bar to get shots. This happened to the the one we stumbled upon and it was great. It has an old European bar look to it. Kind of dark and intentionally divey. The bar tender was great. He even recommended another bar as well as his favorite breakfast place. I only wish we could have stayed longer on our quest for inebriation.

My cousins and I came here after night in the city. It was close to our hotel. Of course we had been drinking and we just wanted some food to sober up. My salad was good, my cousin had to return the spinach dip as she did not like it. The spinach dip looked like it had been sitting out for a while. My other cousin had the shrimp cocktail, she said the food was marginal, as well. Our server was excellent. I had to order a to go sandwich for my mother to take back to the hotel. I thought her sandwich was pretty good, it was a club sandwich. Nothing special about this place. Nothing bad either.

Terrible service. Stopped in for a drink before a show. The bartender took our order and then served everyone else before making 3 drinks. I’ve worked in a sports bar a Cosmo is not extremely difficult and shouldn’t taste like lime juice. Needless to say personality goes a long way. Beer list needs to be updated instead of telling people you don’t have 50% of what’s on it. Bartender also told us there was no drink menu and then handed one to the woman next to us.

I had the swordfish with mango chutney with lobster bisque and cheesecake for 35 bucks. All delicious and the service was great. Had the cutest Irish bartender which makes the whole experience even better. And it’s my birthday in NYC in new years eve so I guess my review also reflects my mood :). In all seriousness great food and even atmosphere I’m fully satisfied

We had a great experience. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. BF had the French onion soup and Caesar salad, I enjoyed a penne pasta dish that was fresh and cooked perfectly! Bill was less than what we expected to pay in NYC in Times Square. Not super crowded, nice atmosphere.

Ehhhh. It was not that great. Super crowded bar. Wait staff wasn’t very attentive. Food was mediocre at best. Not a fan. Hubs got a burger and he said it was delish. But he’s isn’t writing this review, I am.

Ate here on a Sunday evening, before going to see the Tree in Rockafeller Center. Atmosphere was great — very quaint, eclectic, and very nice(linen table cloths, candles, etc.). Definitely 5 stars on that. Had to ask for bread 3 times, food was okay, and prices could have been better. All in all, an ok spot, but of all the places in NYC definitely didn’t blow me away.

Was there two times. Nice place near Times Square. Surprisingly spacious and not too touristy for location. Reasonably priced for the quality and location. Food is decent, but nothing special.

Surprisingly spacious and not too touristy for times square. Bar downstairs and really nice dining room upstairs. Great for a bit to eat before catching a show. We sat in the window next to the big Christmas wreath. Cosy but really good service and food was decent. Would love to checkout the patio and fireplace area next time.

Great beer selection and cool old atmosphere. The quality of food earns Hurleys the two stars. I really wish they could do something about it because it really is a cool bar. I would not come here if my Arkansas fan boyfriend didn’t have me accompany him here at every game. Expect nothing from the food.

I guess location is everything. Four of us had dinner the other day. Burgers were ?? Shake Shack has better burgers. Pretty weird because this place used to be on 6th Ave. No comparison…

Food/Service: Food was decent. Fish and chips were definitely OK but there is much better in elsewhere in NYC. Beer choice was good, not great. I’d go back if I was in the neighborhood for sure, but not a destination. Bartender was cool. Different beers downstairs. The outside menu was updated so ask to be sure. They said the had Smuttynose IPA for example and didn’t. Also note, soda refills are $ 3 each! My friend was a bit surprised at the bill. Atmosphere: nice rooftop bar. Not huge but nice round tables and good for conversation. Utilities: no plugins for phones but bartender will charge behind bar.

Came here last night to eat some dinner and watch UFC190. We got here around 8pm and asked to be seated upstairs cause I know the bar downstairs will be packed with a lot of drunk people being loud during the fights. The person who I believe was the manager brought us upstairs and let us sit anywhere we wanted since we were the only people there at the time. Extremely nice and got everything set up for us pretty fast. The upstairs is very cosy and lights were dim, the air conditioner was really strong but no complaints cause it was hot out. For those who get cold easily bring a light sweater if you will be watching an event for a few hours. The waiter was a really nice Irish lady, very professional. She gave us time to order and made sure we got what we wanted. For appetizers we got the combo which came with wings, potato skin, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. Not bad at all but nothing special. They also gave us a basket of rolls(room temperature) and butter. I ordered the steakhouse salad(medium rare, but came out medium) and it was pretty good and juicy. The steak was seasoned well but the sodium on that bad boy must’ve been really high. The salad came with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, some roasted red bell peppers, and a fresh green mix with a balsamic soy vinaigrette. All in all it was delicious(next time I’ll ask for less seasoning since it was really high in sodium) One of my friends got the shrimp and crab Mac and cheese which was alright. I tried a little and I tend to like my Mac and cheese thick. This Mac and cheese was more watery for my liking. It’s topped with bread crumbs. The other friend got the Cobb salad which was okay. And the last friend got the house salad nothing special haha. As for drinks I got coffee while my friends got the yuengling draft and a rum and coke(pretty strong) Dessert was just Ben and Jerrys icecream The fights were a bit long but the night ended well. Would’ve gave this place 4 stars but after finishing dinner they stopped refilling our glass of water and didn’t come by as often. Overall it’s a pretty decent place. Enjoy!

The atmosphere and service at this place overall are quite nice, it has a cozy feel to it and the servers are friendly. The food is very good also, even though the mushroom risotto I had was a bit rich for my taste, it was still tasty. It’s casual and not to expensive, epically if you don’t eat in the dining room and just stay in the pub area.

Hurley’s is conveniently located near Broadway theaters for pre-show dinners. The restaurant has a rustic feel, and I can see a lot of business lunches happening here. Hurley’s has a great prix fixe deal before 7pm, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Because I wasn’t too hungry, I just ordered the Swardfish entrée. It arrived as a pretty big filet of char-grilled swordfish with mango chutney, a choice of mashed potato, baked potato, or french fries, and steamed vegetables. I thought the meal itself was very healthy. The mango chutney tasted really artificial. The baked potato was served with a scoop of sour cream. The swordfish itself was really bland so I had to put some salt. My boyfriend got the Tuscan Roasted Chicken, which was ½ roasted chicken with herbs and spices. The portion was huge. Another person got the Steakhouse Char-Grilled Hanger Steak salad with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, field greens, and balsamic soy dressing. She really enjoyed it!

Came here in the early evening to grab some drinks and a snack with some friends! We ran into Michael Cera, which was cool, and the place overall was really chill. I tried the Strongbow Cider, and it was really tasty! It was not too strong and not too dilute… a perfect light drink. While two of my friends share fries, another friend and I shared the pizza margarita. It had a crispy thin crust and it was delicious. Some of the best bar food I’ve had! The place itself had a nice vibe. It was warm inside and there was a good mix of people. The layout with the two sides of the bar was nice as well! I definitely put Hurley’s on my list and would love to come back here soon.
