Had lunch here before a show. Quick great service. Food was awesome. The water boy was so on top of filling glasses, no one ever asked if we wanted drinks? Strange. I asked him if there were any special drinks, he spoke little English and pointed to the drink menu, which later I found out there were specials not on that drink menu :-(

Stopped into their rooftop bar to grab a quick bite to eat and drink before our show. Our waitress was great and all of the staff was very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty! We ordered appetizers and they were delicious. I definitely recommend the bruschetta. This is a nice place to relax and unwind after work. I would return again.

The roof top patio was a nice place for a break from the noisy street. The service was efficient and quick. We had The calamari for a quick snack… Mmmm, let’s just say if I wanted seafood something from the freezer I would have stayed home. Try the chicken tenders they looked much better.

Had a quick drink in here while wandering Times Square waiting for our hotel room to be ready. Not much to say except they have really nice Cosmopolitans. I could’ve had two if we had more time. They were yummy! I did see they had quite a big menu and that they serve a weekend brunch. Kind of wishing I had the opportunity to try something to eat, but it’ll have to wait until my next NYC trip. Hopefully soon!

Soooooo, I’m drunk but this is so mothereffing good!!! My bartender, Ronan, is funny and attentive… like my wife only with a bunch of booze. The guy rocks. The food is money in the bank. I got the fish’n’chips and the signature Messy Burger and a couple of Jameson and ginger ales. Killin it, I know. I highly recommend it, because although it’s right in the middle of this tourist trap, you get the vibe of a great hometown bar. Go here.

The Food is OK, the place is Ok, the service was great. I have no complaints, and I do like the fact that they have 3 different floors for different purposes.

Since my friends have difficulty with being on time, one of my girlfriends and I wandered into the bar to avoid pneumonia. We stayed on the ground floor and sat at the bar to kill time. We realized we didn’t want to change location and continued our night there, because in all our years of bar going, it was the first time bartender saved us from a belligerent drunk. After the years that followed this became our go to place. It became our cozy little(not little at all) spot.

Very pleasant lunch here. Downstairs is a little noisy but upstairs is relatively peaceful. Excellent Pastrami Ruben, good burger and tasty fish. Friendly service and they don’t bother you. Good location, close to theatre land. Great selection of beers on tap.

Had a few belts and some laughs here on the final night of business trip to NYC. Nice vibe, cocktails were up to snuff, friendly patrons. Didn’t sample the grub. Great place to drop in for a cocktail or 3 while in the Times Square area.

We got a blue moon here for $ 5 at the bar. When we were seated upstairs in the dining room the price went up to $ 7. Our server was was easily accessible and was there when needed something. Food was good. My only complaint was the upped beer prices.

I found this restaurant on my way to another restaurant in the area. Being spontaneous, we decided to try it. What a great surprise! The rooftop terrace is fantastic — almost made me feel I was dining in Europe. I had the calamarie as an appetizer and the salmon for dinner — delicious. My friend had the fish and chips and it also was very fresh and tasty. If you are on the area or even if you are not, I highly recommend it — you will enjoy it.

It’s a really cool bar in the theatre district. I just wish each floor was consistent. They have a sidewalk board boasting happy hour specials on the 3rd floor, but if you’re NOT on the 3rd floor, not only do you not get the specials, but sometimes you can’t even order the drink! Bud Light bottle for $ 8? People, please! I’m from Michigan for God’s sake! Go easy! Case in point: $ 4.00 shandy on 3rd floor. Asked for shandy on the rooftop, couldn’t order one. Why the fuck not? That makes no sense! When I asked the waitress why this was, she shrugged her shoulders and said that’s just the way it is. Wow, that explains everything. :/ /Weird

Definitely drawn in by seeing the top floor of this place and the people enjoying dining and overlooking the streets, almost reminded me of a tame Mardi Gras set-up! This place had an Irish pub meets Shakespeare cottage meets Bourbon street look. My friend and I climbed all the way to the top and were able to a seat immediately despite there being so many people! I’m not sure who our actual server was because two or three different people kept checking on us and asking us if we needed anything, but they were all pretty wonderful. We started with the frozen margaritas which were a happy hour special. I suddenly recalled my mother’s warning about bars using cheaper or less liquor during happy hour. NORMALLY, I can agree with this theory, however, this place did not skimp! We were easily feeling nice after one margarita, so naturally we ordered a second. Speaking of alcohol, the bar was pretty crowded, it does not seem like an enjoyable place to be when packed though, not a lot of space and the people are super loud. I was all ready to use my teacher voice on them if I received one more scream in my ear, yeah, we were at a table right by the bar. Drink menu seemed to feature a lot of fruity, sugary, colorful, juvenile drinks which kind of surprised me. For dinner, I started with a house salad which was HUGE. There was so much going on in this salad and it was absolutely delicious. For my entrée I ordered the traditional Shepherd’s pie. I haven’t had this dish in a while, and I have to say, it was pretty good. The portion was HUGE, but I didn’t let that intimidate me, I ate all of it. Overall, there was nothing bad in particular about our experience, I enjoyed it. I wouldn’t come running back here though, it was pretty average. Dining and being able to look down on the street with a cool view is a big highlight of this place.

I liked this place because it is 4 floors, has a rooftop, awesome playlist, & serves late night food. My friends and I stopped in Playwright last night for drinks/food we sat on the rooftop. As soon as our server approached my friend immediately mentioned she has a sever SHELLFISH allergy. We ordered nachos, buffalo wings, & bruschetta. As soon as our food arrived we were ready to dig in. Luckily, another server walked over and told us the wings and nachos are cooked in the same oil as fish/etc… It was just very aggravating. First and foremost the server who took our order should’ve immediately confirmed with the kitchen to see if the food we order was safe for my friend to eat. It’s ridiculous that after the food hits the table they told us she wasn’t allowed to eat the wings/nachos. We immediately returned the wings and kept the nachos, which my other friend and I ate. The server had the audacity to ask«What would happen if you ate shellfish?» Couldn’t believe she would even ask that question! It’s a serious matter! FYI allergies should be taken seriously. I understand some items can be easily contaminated, but in this case we announced someone had an allergy. Things should be prepared cautiously or let us know what we can/cannot have!
