No bells and whistles, crowded noisy but excellent lattes, made quickly and ½ price cookies after 5pm .hard to find goodod baristas in USA I’ve found good ones here. Even chocolate powder to sprinkle. Gregorys would be able to sell coffee in Australia where we have world class coffee outlets. Kills Starbucks for quality. Well done

I ordered a medium almond milk chai. Ulterior motive: use of the bathroom and needed the door code. The bathroom was very clean. On to the drink. The chai was very, very good. I want another one right now. Even with almond milk, they managed to get a nice froth on the chai and I didn’t miss the dairy at all. It was well spiced, and I got a seat along a counter looking out the large windows. Next time I’ll go in for the chai and not for a bathroom.

Free small coffee(any type of coffee drink) when you bring in a pre-cut paper snowflake! Brush up your snowflake cutting skills and visit this coffee shop as they have amazing coffee and nice baristas! The soy chai latte is very good, not overly sweet, with a layer of soy milk foam.

Came for a coffee chat. Grabbed a latte — it was really good. Didn’t understand why the barista made a bunch of drinks and then called out the names all at once instead of calling as she made the drinks. There’s a decent amount of seating for this small shop but it feels cramped. I’d come again for the coffee, but probably not to stay.

Was in NY. Did a quick search and found Gregory’s close to TIme Square. Busy which is always a good sign and the service was fast!!! Always love that. The coffee was also excellent. 12 ounce Latte. I will be back. Thanks.

this place does fantastic coffee! it’s usually pretty busy because of the location on fashion avenue but the baristas and staff keep the line going and know what they are doing. Free dependable Wi-Fi and yummy pastries which are half of during happy hour make like all their locations great …

I drink a lot of coffee Gregory’s has the best drip around. I’m not sure about the espresso based drinks since I just get coffee. The staff is cool, and quick. If you get here by 8 there is usually no line. The pastries are delicious and fresh. My must stop when I’m in the city for work!

I. love. this. place. Great vibe and décor, fast and friendly service, and sometimes they have free samples at the counter of their desserts. Also if you come in later in the afternoon, pastries are half off. I use their app to pay for their rewards program as well. I always forget it has one until I see that«you paid 0.00 for this chai!» Recommend: Gregory’s chai morning boost smoothie — ask for a banana blended in; much tastier! brownie

I used to buy coffee at Gregorys Coffee everyday before work until this thing happened. One day I took my friends to the place and we ordered different hot and cold drinks and some pastries($ 30 in total). Then my friend wanna put her hot drink over ice, so we asked for an empty cup with ice… Then they charged us $ 1. I did the same thing in different coffee places and i was never asked to pay for an empty cup of ice especially after spending $ 30… At that time, I decided not to come here anymore. Earning $ 1 to lose a coffee-lover customer, you win :)

I stumbled upon your beanery a few days ago and I must say, I was blown away. I wasn’t even two feet into the door and a huge thrill came over my body. I witnessed a man walk out of the back. He was maybe 5’9 or 6’1 who even knows, white male, strong jaw line, I’d say he works out 3 – 5 times a week(and not just cardio, but weights too but the girth of his arms,) he was wearing glasses and I can only assume a hell of a hog on him. He actually resembled the logo on your cup very closely. Maybe it was the aroma from the freshly brewed cups that spiked my love bone but I believe it was fate that I walked in there that day. Our encounter was brief, he smiled and I blushed but as quickly as I saw him he was gone and out the door, who knows where he was going? Maybe work? Maybe back to the gym to work on his statue like body? I surely don’t know, if I could have only mustered up the courage to talk to him more I wouldn’t be writing this now, all I know is that I’ve been thinking about him every day. The only information I have on him is my spot on description and his name, as he was leaving someone yelled«CYAGREG!» So that’s why I’m here, I know there are a lot of hot guys in NYC named GREG but if you are reading this. Let’s grab a cup of coffee sometime, maybe not there because a few people seemed to know who you are but we can go anywhere you want and I’ll even pay for half. Til next time my friend… oh yeah, the coffee was pretty good too.

Better than Starbucks but not better than Culture 36(a few blocks away). Had a large soy latte with cinnamon on top. Friendly staff and easy process. App works well. The desserts looked awesome and will try them later on…

Not sure how I haven’t written a review for this place. Oh… Wait… I’ve been too busy consuming their menu!!! They are so good. They are very polite. They make my day when I come before work. They draw all sorts of stuff on my coffee. Now, to the main point :) Coffee. It’s DE-LISH. It’s not bitter(never has it been bitter since I ve been coming here, which is 2 years). There is always the right amount of espresso in the latte cup. I love how they serve it… They make it in a to stay cup when I ask. Very very good house blend as well. Just tastes right :) Keep it up guys! Love this spot!

It’s good coffee and there’s ample seating at this location so that’s the reason for the 3 stars. However the problem starts at the register. Having separate lines is fine. Whole Foods does it. Wasabi a block over does it and it’s fast. However, the speediness of taking your order and money greatly differs from the time you actually get your coffee assuming it’s not just plain coffee. So all in all, short line at the register, long line at the wait counter. Your cashier would also head over to make your drink so more wait time(who the f*ck thought this would be more efficient?). I STRONGLY suggest that they write the customer’s name on the cup because some f*cking bitch ass hoe with long hair wearing a shaggy black mohair oversized sweatshirt shaped coat POS(thought my drowsy pre-caffeinated self) stole my drink early Monday morning and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes and be late to work while at least 5 other people get their drinks before me. Also, I was only one out of at least 3 people who had to ask the barista if their drink was coming up. Who needs the added stress of not knowing if/when they’re getting their coffee? Names on the cups isn’t a guarantee but since this is a chain asking for more capacity in the middle of Manhattan and not a 5 table café in a hole in the wall, you would think it’s common sense to try to be a little more specific, organized, and aware of who you’re pushing out drinks to since clearly there are some animals among us. Summary: Coffee is good. Go for it if it’s not the morning rush or mid afternoon. However, the tasty latte did not appease my anger on this location’s first impression so I’ll pass on this spot for a few years.

Not much to say other than just a good cup of coffee. Not too crowded considering the proximity to Times Square. Went at about 9:30 in the morning and was able to find a seat and have a conversation. Pastries looked pretty good, but I just had a drink. If you need a fix in midtown, why not here?

Pretty cool coffee shop. It was littered with people on their laptops drinking their coffees and expressos. Much more modern looking than starbucks IMO. I ordered the cappuccino… $ 3.45. It tasted pretty good and it did its job lol. Came with a nice foamy heart on top. Bathroom is locked so you must ask for the password… Pink lids for breast cancer awareness!

I work in the same building as Gregory’s, so I’m kind of sad I don’t come here more often… probably because i’m not a fan of their iced coffee :( But, their iced lattes and dirty chais are delicious! They also have free tastings from time to time, so definitely drop by when you get the chance! The staff here is also super friendly and nice. They’ve recently switched over to levelup, so if you use that app, take advantage of the occasional free credit they give you!

Gregory’s coffee is awesome. Great selection of drinks and food. They are pretty quick. The prices are not super cheap but if you have to choose between Starbucks and Gregory’s, I’d choose Gregory’s. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it’s close to my office.

I’ve been wanting to try Gregory’s for a while, as I work one block away, and I always get sucked into Coffee Bean on my corner. Today, though, I decided to head to Gregory’s to grab an afternoon latte. This one is located in front of the big button and needle on 7th and 39th. Anyway, the cashier girl was very friendly — we bonded over being left-handed — and told me all their latte flavors(hazelnut, vanilla, pumpkin spice, etc). I went for sugar-free vanilla. It was delicious and put all other vanilla lattes I’ve had in the city to shame. The quality was top-notch. They also did the foam art which made me feel fancy shmancy. I can’t wait to return to try other drinks. They had a bowl of a variety of pastry samples available at the counter. I took quite a few… don’t judge me. The place is small and averagely crowded, but it wasn’t hard to find a spot to sit. It’s very chill and a great place to read or do work. What I love is that the baristas don’t yell out the name of the drinks for people to pick up. That annoys me at other cafés. Also their little teacups for espressos are adorable!
