Came here several times for lunch. Usually order their double chicken sandwich.

Tried this place via a MealPass order of Chicken Cutlet & Fries. They had it ready to go when I arrived and it was true to its description. The bread is soft and nice and the I had no issues whatsoever with the quality. Great option for a decent quality lunch if you’re looking for a sub and its related counterparts. Filling tasty food, yum!

Too stinky place, needs a good ventilation system. Try if you are looking for not much pricey food.

Really classic location. They have a small bar buffet but never had it. Alot of the items are made to order but only takes a few minutes to make. The main reason I go here is because of the price. Their specials include a free drink so for lunch you average right under $ 7. Which even McDonald pricing can’t beat anymore. Also they have a couple of healthy options that make it very convienent or your classic burger with fries. The place itself is nothing fancy, and it could be cleaner. However if you buy lunch everyday like me instead of paying the average 10 – 12 I end up saving 20 – 30 bucks weekly.

I will give it three stars because of the omelet. Environment: When you first come to the grill you get the feeling that it needs to be remodeled. The outdated chairs and the wooden tables appearing worn out made me feel uncomfortable. Also, I should of took the hint that any establishment that does not have a constant flow of traffic because Baruch College is a block away should be avoided. Service: Normal. She said«Good Morning.» Food: Ham Omelet and Home Fries. The omelet was pretty good. Ham, peppers and onions. Its a talent if you can ruin eggs. Now, let’s talk about the Home Fries.(Stares nonchalantly at the phone) Brah, really? There is nothing more disgusting when you taste home fries that is overly mushy and constantly overheated. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a batch for the week and microwave it. I threw the home fries in the garbage so fast you could of swore it expired yesterday. Price: $ 3.75 Will I Go There Again?: Emergency food. If I don’t want to waste $ 11.00 at Baruch for a sandwich, I just might come here again. Desperation changes decisions.

This place isn’t fancy, but breakfast clocks in right about $ 5. You can’t beat it, and the food is made to order & tastes great. It’s a solid pick when you’re in the neighborhood.

This is a decent place to get a quick bite to eat. Their burgers are good, never had one that was under/over cooked. Their fries are amazing. Get extra if you can. However, the one time I got a muffin for breakfast it was stale. Their sandwiches are also hit and miss. The prices are typical for Manhattan. The service is good. No one is rude, the girl at the counter is friendly. All in all a pretty decent experience.

Nothing too special about this location. It’s in a good location and pretty convenient if you are running late to class. I think if on most days I had even 5 minutes to spare instead of zero I would go somewhere else. Their buns and rolls that they serve their sandwiches on can really be improved and they can afford to keep their chicken on the grill for a little longer as I have gotten two undercooked pieces of grilled chicken, both times that I have come here. At least their water bottle is a dollar…

I am actually here as I write this review.. .had to stop eating to share just how awesome this place is. First off, the staff is super friendly & welcoming which has been quite rare in the food service industry. Secondly(and perhaps more importantly, lol), the food is amazing. I’m having the chicken quesadilla and it is seriously a party in my mouth.. .definitely a must try! I live nowhere near here but I will definitely be back soon. P. S.- The Hubert’s Cherry Limeade is also a must try.. .it is de-li-cious!

BESTFRIESINNYC. I cannot vouch for anything else but I just happened to ask for a side of fries one day and sweet Jesus Hallelujah, I was hooked. I don’t know how to describe it, but their french fries are UNREAL; I shamelessly had them for breakfast yesterday.

place is cheap. they give you 20 mins to eat, that stresses me out. let’s add the fact that i’m NOT the quickest to finish a plate… WHAT, AND the portions are large? sigh, challenge accepted.

Gramercy is ok. It’s definitely better than the carts, their sandwiches are bigger. The price is mediocre for the size and quality of the food.

Super cheap, filling breakfast sandwiches. There are a million places like this around and the food isn’t special… but it’s great bang for your buck — $ 2.50 for 2 eggs, cheese on your choice of bread(toast, roll, bagel). One of the better joints I’ve found for a filling, fast breakfast sandwich. As for the rest of the menu, I’ve never tried it… but breakfast is definitely good to go.

It caters to mostly Baruch students, even offering them special deals and discounts. I wish this place was open later at night, so I could get something to eat after 9 after my class. The menu selection is varied, with a lot of mexican options like burritos and quesadillas, along side gyros, sandwiches, and burgers. I’m a frequent buyer of the philly cheesesteak and the chicken fingers here. The cheesesteak is good, a little small for my taste, but since I usually get the special with the fries its filling enough. The chicken fingers are done to a crisp and are wonderful for that. Moreover, service is prompt for freshly prepared food. In a similar vein the woman who mans the cash register during lunch is wonderful and really just nice. I like how she handles her job.(with a smile!) It can get a little cramped here for seating, so I’d recommend takeout.

Just have to love happening upon a cheap lunch by chance while walking around the city. I had actually been handed a menu by one of those guys on a street corner for another place and was headed there when I saw Gramercy Grill. Sign outside had a $ 6.50 lunch special for a charcoal grilled chicken sandwich, french fries, and a soda. Decided to give it a shot. Glad I did! The place itself is like a standard deli setup with a few tables and chairs. Nothing really pretty about the place, and kind of bland, but it gets the job done. Menu is a mix of Mexican foods like burritos and hot plates, burgers, sandwiches, salads, breakfast, and combo meals. The one thing that really stood out — Everything on their menu is below $ 10! Seriously, everything! The chicken sandwich I ate had a nice charcoal grilled flavor to it, and with BBQ sauce on a thin bread /roll it was quite tasty to me, and filling. Good deal to get fries and a soda with it. Seems like they have a special each day. At 2:30 the place was pretty busy with a mix of students, locals, and workers on lunch break there. Saw someone eating a huge burrito, and another a burger. Both looked good. Will have to try something different next time. Seems like I found another good cheap lunch spot!
