As a college student I love coming here to satisfy my cravings with their $ 1 pizza slices. They’re not the biggest or most filling but they are very tasty and decent quality for what you pay. Service sometimes isn’t as attentive as other places but the employees are always very nice and patient. It’s very much a grab-and-go type place but overall I think it’s a pretty good value.

Spend an extra couple bucks elsewhere to get a slice of pizza that doesn’t taste like cardboard, sauce, and wet cheese. Ew.

This place is a joke. Most inconsistent business practices I’ve ever witnessed. Since opening probably a little over a year ago, the price of a slice has fluctuated from $ 1 to $ 1.10 to $ 1 to $ 2 to $ 1.50 to $ 1 and now the place is apparently under new ownership and undergoing renovation. The quality of the slices have fluctuated just as much. Simply dumb. I guess some things we aren’t meant to understand.

This place is SMAAALLLLL. Thank goodness for building signage, or we would have just walked right past it. There is a «counter» to eat at but I guess the people who would frequent here would be ones that work out because it would be a bit tight and uncomfortable for, let’s say, «plus size» customers(for the lack of better terminology). They have very nice wood laminate flooring, one of the first things I noticed after the«wow this place is so small» noticement. There is a very large flat screen TV and thankfully so, because if you wanted to eat there, you would need some distraction other than the guy giving handing you the pizza. Speaking of pizza… The crust was crunchy(which I really like) but it was not so tasty(which leads to much sighing and disappointment). It was $ 1 a slice — and it was way better than the other place that we went to that had $ 1 slices, but not enough that it would draw me again.

From hero to zero! I can’t believe I wrote an update review defending this place, then they did the dirtiest thing any $ 1 slice place could do — doubled their prices! They have sketchily colored over the 1 in their«$ 1» vinyl on the awning. Unfortunately the color they covered over does not match the awning itself AKA it still says $ 1 pizza. When I walked in the guy pointed to sign at the front counter(which was actually a paper plate with marker), that says«REGULARSLICE $ 2.» Does this place know there’s a $ 1 slice place a block away? Everything they did they did to raise the standards of the $ 1 slice they’ve undone with bad business practices. Good luck with your student cliental Planet Green, you have lost COUNTLESS customers! Sorry that pizza makes me emotional.

Come here for lunch and you’ll get probably the best dollar slice of pizza you’ll get anywhere in the city. You’ll call me out for bs, but hey man, its true. Their price has been fluctuating purportedly, but I assume its because they’re trying to see what a reasonable price point for their slice is. I’ve always only paid $ 1. The slice itself is more comparable to a $ 2 slice in quality, and is a steal. You’re always getting freshly made pizzas as well. Granted, the dollar slice jacks up to as high as 3.75 at night, in which case I’d make a run to Mike’s Pizza nearby. I haven’t tried anything else they sell here, but we’ll see if it comes down to that. I wouldn’t try sitting here and eating. The space is far too cramped for that sort of thing.(Also they accept credit cards, so a huge plus for me!)

I couldn’t wait until this place finally opened(after months of waiting for the gas to be hooked up.) I do not think their $ 1– $ 1.10(depending on when you go) is ALLTHAT. It is HARDLY a typical $ 2.50 slice and barely a decent $ 1 slice. While they have a long counter with stools, you can’t even move in the place. If someone is sitting in the front, you practically knock them over getting past them. This is more a ‘take-out’ than a comfortably seated restaurant. I’d rather go to Mike’s Papaya & Pizza across the street and for $ 2.75 get 2 slices and a drink. The very best $ 1 slice used to be at Morton Wms(on 23rd&2nd) … until they stopped putting the basil on top of their $ 1 pizza. But it certainly is the most comfortable, with tables and chairs and NY1 on the TV.

Their pizza is $ 1…sometimes. Should you ever order two slices, pay with $ 1 bills. If you pay with a $ 5(like i just did), you will get $ 2.80 back. For some reason, it’s only truly $ 1 when you pay in $ 1 bills, but not with any other dollar amount. Other than that, the pizza is really good.

This place probably truly has the most genuine in comparison to 2 dollar slices pizza you could find, except it’s a dollar! It’s sad however that because only the pizza is the special thing they have, that all their other items(which they have alot of) dont shine very well. Especially when those other said«items» arent a dollar. Dollar pizza, or 2.50 cake slice? The choice isnt very hard if your a college student.
