CLOSEDFOREVER? CHANGEOFOWNERSHIP? WHERETHEHECKDIDTHEYALLGO? Did they get bought out? Did they have to change their name because of some Nickelodeon lawsuit? And if so, why are they shutting down and rebuilding the inside of all their locations? Their last tweet was on March 21. The website is up but shows no indication of change. I’m posting this just so that at least ONE review is warning people that the place is(at least for now) simply not there. I do hope they come back, or that whatever is replacing them doesn’t change a thing about the food. My only problem with them ever is that management insists on keeping the doors wide open, even during sub-zero cold winters. However that’s hardly a problem since they’re ‚. they WERE well heated. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and nice, the prices were a bit high but the food was always totally worth it, my guilty pleasure every week.

Just stop in to see, if it lives up to the name… and it does. it’s a good burger. but thats where it ends. little pricey for what it is. there isn’t a lot more to it. you pick your toppings and pick your sides for extra price.(onion rings was same price as my burger). would I ever go back again? … I don’t think so.

Crabby Patty — now gross I am not big on burgers so when I visited with others, I would get the crab sandwich. Used to be a good one. Today I had a small and thin patty that did not have any crab. There was much filler in it(god knows what it was) with some crab flavor and grease. I will not be back anymore.

Welcome to Goodburger, home of the Goodburger, can I take your orderrrrrr. This place is lightyears better than McDonalds, but nowhere near as good as Shake Shack. You get a good juicy burger at a fair price made to order. It’s not huge and they don’t dress it up with all the crap. They get a bonus point because when you’re in a hurry and you happen to be in Union Square sometimes it’s nice to stop in somewhere that is no-frills where you can get in and out with a decent meal. I would give it a 2, but c’mon, they don’t hide the fact that they’re a chain… if you’re looking for a memorable New York burger experience and you stop in a chain, that’s more your fault than theirs.

A single burger with the works at $ 4.13 and French Fries at $ 2.99 was not ressuring to fill the mid-afternoon hunger pangs. Lunch totals $ 7.75 with the plaguing sales tax, AIJA that’s empties my food allowance for the week! It was okay, merely above MEH level standards. The bun was nice and soft, the beef was very juicy and moist. My burger was neither good nor bad. Music overhead is blaring loud.

Smaller and inferior to the Goodburger on Lexington Avenue. The tables were not adequately space apart and they were so close together, I had to squeezed my fat in between tables in order to get a seat on the bench seats by the wall. While I was in the physical manifestations of an All That sketch(Welcome to Goodburger, Home of the Good Burger, Can I take your order?), I decided to order another Nickelodeon inspired thing and I got the crabby patty as well as a milkshake. My sandwich and milkshake added up to about $ 13.25 before tax! Not worth it! Not worth it at all! Crabby Patty $ 8.75 A golden brown Maryland crab cake topped with organic greens, tomato and a homemade Rémoulade tartar sauce. It was a good sandwich but it wasn’t anything spectacular. Small Milk Shake $ 4.50 Made with all natural hand-scooped Vermont ice cream. You can’t screw up a milk shake. It was good. I would have rather gotten a gyro for $ 4.50 in one of the street carts than this hot mess. Now granted, I know I had the crab cake sandwich is more expensive than the burgers. However, if you want your burger with cheese, onion, bacon and a side of fries it is $ 13.25. I can get 2 incredibly delicious burgers topped with goeey cheese, fresh chopped red onion and generous amounts of crispy bacon bits for $ 3 in checkers and a side of fries for an extra $ 2 or $ 3! No Kel. You cannot take my order.

BLEGH. so not worth $ 7. My medium rare burger was like a rare it was bleeding like crazy… and I found this weird disgusting bone thing in my patty… Not coming here again. Nice people though. Really friendly staff… just wished their burgers were better tasting. Thought the fries would be the crinkly ones I LOVETHOSE!!! BUT these were just merely the same size, shape, taste as McDonald’s fries. Nothing special… Good thing I didn’t order the Cheese Chili Fries… they were almost $ 7. Their TV had some weird advertisements that made the meal really displeasing… I don’t need to see dead obese people(who died from excessive sugar intake???) while i’m eating my fatty burger, alright?!

My boyfriend & I were in search for somewhere to eat before catching our late-afternoon movie. I knew there was a goodburger in the area, so we decided to come here for lunch. An upscale version of McDonald’s and very spacious, filled with lots of tables for customers to sit down and enjoy food & conversation. I was much excited to try out goodburger because it’s been on my list of places to try. The customer service was decent and the food was good quality as well. I ordered the Crabby Patty(a golden brown Maryland Crab Cake topped with organic greens, tomato, and a homemade tartar sauce). The crabby patty was a very light sandwich and I enjoyed it but it could have used some more tartar sauce. My boyfriend ordered the Bell & Evans Chicken Sandwich. It sure looked healthy. In addition, we ordered cheese fries which were quite tasty, but not the best I’ve ever had. Goodburger is a good alternative from McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and all the other fast food chains. This goodburger is hip and trendy. I think I will return here to try some other menu items. Items to try next time: — Portabello Mushroom Sandwich — Chili Cheese Fries

After a week night of boozing, the next day at work was rough. Being famished and still hungover, I was in a burger craved type of mood. After conferring with my Unilocal iPhone app, goodburger seemed the closest and reasonable choice. goodburger it seems, is aptly named. For me, it was literally a ‘good’ burger. Nothing spectacular. No where near on bar with the burger slinging big boys of NYC — but they put out a solid cheeseburger and fries. The patty was a bit too well done for my taste, but nonetheless pretty good. Fries were tasty. Just be mindful that this location gets pretty busy on weekdays during lunch hours. If you have 30 minutes on the dot for lunch, you might want to find a more faster alternative.

Depending on how crowded it is inside, it can take forever for you to get your food. My friends and I ordered two good-burgers, onion rings, fries, grilled chicken salad and a burger salad. Everything was really great and tasty. Burgers were spot on, onion rings were crisp, fries tasted like they were from a fast food joint. Surprisingly, the grilled chicken salad was probably the best. It had really great flavor. The burger salad was ok. The burger itself didn’t have much flavor which is why when I come back, it will be either the chicken salad or the actual burger. I love that you can stand and watch your food being made. You can see exactly how they make it and that they aren’t fooling around with your food.

Dropped in here today in between meetings to grab a quick lunch as it was close by. Good AC and lots of seating so I jumped in to escape today’s heat and take a load off for a bit. Got me the classic burger with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and ketchup. Side of sweet potato fries, and a diet Pepsi.(yeah, I’m fooling no one with that diet soda!) Holy cow this place is expensive! Came out to over $ 13.00! The burger tasted ok, and the bun was nice and soft, but to me it was on the small side. The sweet potato fries were good too. Nice and crispy with a sugary sweetness to them. But for over $ 13 this was not a meal I will go back to. At that price point there are cheaper burger options around, especially diners that offer burger deluxe meals for less than this with much larger burgers that taste just as good. Also, they charge for every topping here — like nickel and diming on everything. Good thing I am expensing this as a business lunch today!

I finally got a chance to go to Goodburger with a college friend on Saturday night. It was approximately 830PM, and it had a fair number of people. Order was super easy but there was a wait for the burger. I got the classic good burger with the works a long with a side of cheese fries and lemonade. I loved the lemonade. It was so refreshing, fresh and had just the right about of sugar. The cheese fries got cold, so I was little disappointed in them. I don’t think they were particularly special. The burger was made medium rare. A very tasty patty, but I felt that it lacked the juicy-ness. I would prefer 5 Guys & shake shack over goodburger. But it def will satisfy a burger craving!

It’s almost unfair for me to give this place a 1 star rating(seeing as I’ve never actually eaten at this location), so I’ll give them a 2 star rating. I ate at the Goodburger in midtown over the summer, it was pretty good. I LOVED the onion rings, the burger was good medium just as a burgers should be(in my opinion). The fries were decent, I hadn’t had it in a while so I was interested in returning to one of their locations. It’s 12PM on a Friday afternoon and I was sitting with a group of co-workers(at work) all that agreed they wanted Goodburger. We compiled a list from their menu on Seamless Web, and there was quite a bit of food on that list. To be honest with you, I didn’t check to see if we were in the delivery range, seeing as it’s a 10 minute walk away from 23rd St.(Goodburger being at 17th and Broadway). I call to place an order and I’m told that they do not deliver past 21st St. So basically wait let me get this straight, your delivery range is only 4 street blocks long in that direction? This to me seems QUITE ridiculous to say the least. When I said I was located just 1 avenue and 6 block away from your location you gave up a $ 60+ order. What a shitty business decision. With so many burger places in the nearby area, why bother? Next.

Randomly came here one day and tried their crabby patty and classic goodburger, and french fries with store made root-beer. The workers were nice and the cashier was nice enough to answer all of our questions. Only thing was she forgot to make our root-beer and I believe the manager made it for us. The root beer was just alright. Even though it was store made, I would have preferred Barg’s root beer. They didn’t add enough syrup so it tasted a lot like carbonated water. The classic goodburger was a relatively normal burger. The meat was cooked medium rare just how I like it. I commend them for being able to cook the meat right. Vegetables were fresh and the bread buns weren’t too thick or flaky. The crabby patty had it’s own sauce and it turned out to be a little spicy. Which definitely made it taste better. The patty was frozen to begin with so it was a shame that they couldn’t have made their own fresh patties. The reason I gave the store 4 stars is because they cooked a fresh batch of french fries instead of giving us ones that were already cooked and presumably had been sitting around for some time. I paid attention to the details of their cooking process from beginning to end. The grills were thoroughly cleaned before starting to cook. Despite the entire cooking process being routine and assembly line ish, the act of serving fresh cooked food won me over. I would definitely recommend coming back here. I think it’s more worth it than Shake Shack!

I’ve been here a few times to just get the shake but today I decided to sit inside after seeing the Man Utd vs Chelsea game on. That sold it to me. That’s right, it wasn’t the food — it was the football game. I usually get the burger with the works but today I went for a cup of their chili with fries on the side. The chili was alright, it had good texture and some flavor. Lots of seating. Clean. 3 flat screen tvs.

I’m a fan of Shake Shack, Joy Burger, NY Burger, damn even Fresh and Fast. To me, goodburger, does not compare. The experience started off fine. The line was long, but it went quick. The ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. About 25 minutes later, yes, that long, my name was called to pick up my order. Now, do not get me wrong, it was the height of lunch hour and it was packed, but more then 20 minutes seems a bit much, regardless if its made to order. I have never waited, with the exception of Shake Shack, more then 10 minutes of the before mentioned spots. The burger was good, but with the amount of time waited, I couldn’t enjoy it because I had to rush. The fries are wack… straight frozen/McDonald’s type. So, would I recommend goodburger? Ehhh…

Summary: Overpriced, Glorified Fast food. Don’t let the price tag lead you to believe anything about quality here folks, Goodburger served up one of the most generic and pitiful hamburgers that I have ever had this afternoon. To put the nail in the coffin, the french fries were straight out of the freezer. Coming in at a terrifying $ 16.22, my meal consisted of: 1 Goodburger: Medium Rare, the Works, no Ketchup 1 French Fries 1 Banana Milk Shake That money could be WAY better spent at any restaurant offering sit-down service, better ingredients, and a downright better meal. I’m never going back.
