I used to use this laundromat, but no more. I loved it for 2 years. Went to pick up my laundry tonight, and it was closed 20 minutes early. My clothes were still in the dryer, and I told the woman working I would be back at the exact time I showed up. I’ll take the trouble of walking up 3 blocks to the 24 hour one, even though I average 30 lbs. every 2 weeks. They won’t ever get another cent out of me. On the flip side, it’s great if you aren’t on a schedule. I like the day crew better; they are friendlier.

Had a good and a bad experience here. The first time I dropped off my laundry they finished it quickly and having it been my first time doing a drop off I was so impressed. The second time they forgot to tell me when the laundry would be ready after dropping it off. I also dropped off two blankets and was not aware of the price difference for blankets versus clothes. So I was already a little upset of how much more I had to pay for my laundry. When I went to pick up my laundry they had ripped my laundry bag. I picked it up quickly and noticed that they had tied knotted the bag so that it would close. They didn’t even acknowledge that they had broken it. It’s the closest laundromat from my house so I will be carefully considering if I will send my laundry here again next time. Other than that the service is pretty decent for the price if you are just washing your clothes

I love laundry! [waits for a bunch of socks to be thrown at her] I know I’m in the minority when I say that, but c’mon — you have to agree there’s nothing better than clean, fresh, fluffy laundry. Good Luck Laundry makes that happen. It’s both a coin laundry/drop off service — it’s $ 2, $ 3, or $ 4 for washers based off of capacity. The dryers are $ 0.25 per 8 minutes. I usually just use the $ 2 washers and leave the laundry in for 40 minutes, 48 minutes for towels usually does the trick. My former laundromat on the Upper East Side constantly had machines that didn’t work — it was always a pain, and machines were always taken because people would leave it there for hours or hog the machines. GLL is a HUGE improvement, as everything works and people are pretty good about keeping things moving. The place is very clean as well. For times I’ve been swamped and have had to use the drop off service, everything came back neatly folded and smelling amazing. They split the colors for an extra charge. I think that’s a nice option.

OK, so I normally don’t base whether I am going to go somewhere based on one review, but it was the only place near me that had a really good rating, so I decided to trust the judgement of Ms. Cassandra W. Luckily for me, her judgement was good. I had over 60 pounds of laundry to be done and it was finished within 3 hours, clean and nicely folded!

Good Luck Laundry is a fine establishment where I drop off my 2 weeks worth of laundry at 8:30 am and pick up around 5:30 pm. It always smells good and is folded nicely. Once my reds bled into my whites and I was vigorously upset. Soon after my two year old fit, my boyfriend reminded me that you’re not supposed to wash reds with whites and that I couldn’t really blame GLL, and he’s right. They wash in cold water, unless you ask for warm so that’s nice, things don’t shrink.
