Place is pure garbage. I thought I would give it a try since it’s right around the corner, but there is no way I will be going back. Went to grab a soda, they were all sticky and had brown filth all over the top of the can. The only reason this place gets any business at all is because of its convenient location. Food is horrible, it’s dirty and customer service was poor at best. Take my advice and go anywhere else.

Ugh I was so excited for a bagel sandwich, I was craving one all day. They had good choices and everything looked great until I found a hair in my food. I did eat the half of the sandwich that didn’t have the hair on it but I almost couldn’t stomach it because I was so grossed out, I know a lot of people wouldn’t have even eaten a bite. I was on my lunch break coming from work at the hospital so I don’t have the freedom to take the sandwich back or the time to go get food elsewhere. Glad I also bought a bag of chips but the salt and vinegar chips were so salty I couldn’t really eat the whole bag, though the handful I did eat were tasty, just unbelievably salty. I guess my can of Diet Coke was the best part of the meal.

Owner has very poor customer service skills, instead of appeasing an error on their part he berated me in front of other customers. Nice going jerk!

For whatever reason, every time I have ordered a breakfast sandwich, they get the order wrong. I think it’s because the cook is Spanish and he can’t speak English. I went today and I STRESSEDNOT to put cheese on one of the egg sandwiches I ordered. I get home and what do you know, there’s cheese on it. I also wanted extra bacon and extra ketchup. There was absolutely no bacon on the sandwich. YOUHAVEONEJOB!!! Why is it so difficult??? Do yourself a favor… Avoid the aggravation and don’t go here.

Sometimes is gets soo crowded(but that means the food is good right?). Enjoy the breakfast sandwiches, had a few lunch sandwiches… the iced coffee is my savior! If you’re nearby, call & place your order so you can avoid the *standing here waiting* moment.

Mistakes all the time when ordering. It’s like the staff is in a fog. I ask for ketchup and pepper on my egg sandwich and it had neither. The coffee is so-so. They burn the toasted rolls. The croissants are good, but they always run out of them, you would think they would stock more. Prices are ok.

This guys suck. It is hard for them to get the correct order always put the wrong cheese or give you the wrong type of bagle You have to repeat your order upon recieving it to make sure the order is correct. Their operations are not optimal for the demand they get so alot of mistakes are made due break down of comunication between the employees or due the the guy on the grill being overwhlemed. The bad thing is that last time it happened when the werent busy so that tells me they dont care to pay close attention to the specifics of your order.

I was waiting for a bus to Boston and I had been debating for 15 minutes whether I had time to go get a breakfast sandwich here after I realized It was the next block from the bus stop. I told myself no but 10 minutes later something possessed me to THEN go and get a sandwich. I ran in asking how fast they could make a breakfast sandwich and let me tell you, they can make one pretty darn fast. I actually think it was record time. The cook saw I was in a rush so called another man to the front to ring me up. The bus passed the deli and I started to panic until they handed me my sandwich 10 seconds later. It was delicious and well worth it! Very nice men. 5 stars for service and record time for making breakfast sandwiches. Sandwich was nothing to write home about, but I mean it’s a breakfast sandwich. And I probably will tell my family when I get home about how fast they were and how happy I was to get my sandwich before my bus ride. :)

I order a sausage, egg & cheese sandwich on an everything bagel nearly every morning here for pick-up and always enjoy the friendly staff and speediness of their operation. The bagels are delicious and the eggs/sausage/etc are crafted with care. I recommend this to all pilots coming into the E. 34th Street Heliport and looking for a quick lunch.

Have ordered for delivery and pick up from here many times. They sometimes forget part of the delivery and have to send the delivery person again which is annoying but they are the only grab and go, convenient place in this area. The food quality is ok and I have no major complaints(but you need to do more to get a 5 star rating and being the only option in the area still won’t get you the 5th star).

Really good food and service! We ate this awesome capresse sándwich, with lot of muzzarella cheese, basil and tomato; but we also forgot our camera and the owner(this amazing person) took the trouble of taking it to the post office and send it to Boston, so we could get it. By the way, we are from argentina and we needed it with urgency, we are really grateful! So, people, we recommend this place a 100%.

My office orders from this place almost daily and not once have they had a correct order. I opt out of the morning ritual of ordering because I am never happy. Their prices are through the roof and if you ask for extra ANYTHING literally ANYTHING they will charge you 150+, even for a teaspoon of mayo. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not in any form of the word frugal or unwilling to pay for quality… when there is quality. Not worth what is paid for and as stated you’ll they will most likely get that order wrong. ON A PLUSNOTE, the two stars are for their service. If your order is wrong they will try and correct it. This is much appreciated but once you mess up so many times correcting it wont merit a returning customer. Sorry Fresh Central, but you just don’t cut it.

I went to this deli to get something to eat before getting on the BoltBus which stops nearby. The size of the wrap they gave me for $ 8 was appallingly small. If you want to run a deli where customers actually come back, make your proportions equitable to your prices.

So glad this place opened(again). This spot has a tough time keeping a business, but this iteration seems to be holding on. Luckily for me, because otherwise you have to walk to 2nd avenue or 34th street. I only really go here for coffee, but the people are always friendly and the owner seems very nice. It’s usually pretty busy with people getting breakfast sandwiches or lunch. It’s a little bit slower than some of the other places in the area, but I don’t mind waiting for the convenience of being around the corner from work.

I come here every week for breakfast and occasionally for lunch. The breakfast is great, it gets busy but the service is as good as a small deli can be. For lunch, their soups are delicious but the wraps are just okay. Overall a good deli with average prices.

I ventured back and was pleasantly surprised by some overall improvement. Breakfast omelette with veggies and egg whites was good albeit a little greasy; accompanying whole-wheat«toast» was drenched in some butter substitute, though. Veggies for the tossed salads look very fresh and crisp, but I haven’t tried one yet. Coffee remains pretty standard, but fully functional. Overall still a little pricey for the quality; that said, the next closest deli is a few blocks away, so the convenience is worth it, I suppose.

Thee is newly renovated and not sure if it is new ownership or not. They seem to be making a push for their sandwich menu and variety of combinations(breakfast and lunch). Prices are rather reasonable and service was very nice, but was not a busy time. Honestly, I only went there for coffee. I noticed they served me the end of a carafe so I was expecting burnt and gross. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it was tasty and fresh tasting. Wasn’t as hot as I was expecting, but that is a positive for me since I like my coffee not-scalding. Looking to try some food when I’m in a pinch…
