Just tried a doughnut from here. They were 2 for $ 1. We each took one bite and threw the rest away. HORRIBLE taste, either rancid oil or chemicals. Really nasty. I suppose that could be why they’re 2 for $ 1, but why would anyone sell something like that (assuming they’re aware)?
I definitely will not be getting anything from this place again. Do not recommend.

The BEST Café con leche around! The assortment of pastries and breads made by the bakers in back are impressive and are all quite tasty. The prices won’t put a hurting on you either!

I absolutely love this place — I go probably 5 times a week for their café con leches (only $ 1.00). I don’t eat pastries very often but they look delicious and my friends love their croissants. But what makes this place super special is the people who work there. They are super friendly and warm, and always welcoming. Love it!

I just had a very good HOT croissant fresh from the oven and a delicious café con leche here for $ 2 — TOTAL. Yummy — highly recommended way to start your day.

If i could give negative stars, i totally would I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday and everything about the experience was awful. It took about 45 minutes to tell the owner that I wanted a spiderman cake for 15 people with my son’s name on it. The owner kept telling me that he was totally undercharging me and I really should pay more. It was weird. Then when I went to pick it up, not only was the cake not ready, but someone had smooshed the side of it! They tried to repair it by smearing some orange frosting on it which accomplished nothing but to make it look worse. The clowns that work there were reluctant to give me a discount and only did so after I insisted. One particularly rude young man who worked there told me the I already got a really good deal on the cake and so I had to pay for it even though it looked like crap. In the end I took home my damaged cake with after receiving a measly $ 10 discount, only because I had a house full of people coming shortly and no time to get another. Ugh.
Then, when I cut the cake, I discovered that it wasn’t even what I ordered! The chocolate inside tasted like instant pudding and the icing was like cool whip. Super nasty. Not even my 3 year old would eat it. Truly a ghetto experience from beginning to end. I wont be going back and I recommend you don’t go there, either.

Great for coffee, cakes, and cookies! Stop in for a little dessert and coffee. Find a space on the back bar and enjoy!
