Definitely not as good as No Parking. I truly miss that place. A bit expensive considering the drinks are small and watered down! Doubt I will ever be back here.

Went there for my first time for my birthday a few nights ago and I don’t think I’ll be back. Drinks were kinda expensive and they make you have a $ 30 minimum and when we were going in, it was the most invasive pat down I’ve ever experience. Dude was straight up digging inside my pants. This hasn’t even happened to me at the airport. The bartender was nice which is a plus, but I also didn’t like that they have MANDATORY coat check. Me and best friend weren’t here for that and went back downstairs to put them in his car. Lisa Lisa performed and sounded cool, but also brought my buzz down in a major way. Def gonna go to other places before I come back.

I was a model for a promotional event here and although the venue is unique and quite large there was a language barrier between the models and the club goers. I mean I understand we were in Harlem(145th st.) but as we’d ask if people wanted photos and handed out promotional cards for free underwear most and of the people just looked at use confused as if they didn’t understand what we were saying. It was quite an interesting experience I would say. I’m from Texas and I can’t say that’s ever happened to me there.

Craphole. There are nicer places in current Syria. Don’t get added to their phone list or you’ll never get removed. Their staff is incapable of doing much, be it serving a crowd or removing your number from their terrible robocall list.

I came here on a Saturday 5−19−12. This place is okay. First impression wasn’t bad. Free to get in, there was a random band playing on the stage and the place was nicely packed, not over crowed.(all spanish music) I stood by the bar with my friend and made friends with the bartender, she was nice. Drinks were good but small about 10 bucks each. The bathroom had one of the toilets out of order so that kinda backed up the line and also no soap to wash your hands. Why do they have a bathroom attendant and NOSOAP !!(that annoyed me) I hear this place has many different events going on, I liked how big it was and wouldn’t mind going again for a specific event. oh they have hookah if anyone is interested. Have fun! =0)

I decided to try El Morocco last week Friday when a Deejay I am familiar with had an event there. After I got off the subway, the sign for the dance club was very close by. Overall, the layout of the venue is nice. I had a good time however I have experienced better times further downtown. The restroom was busy but clean. The cocktails were about $ 8.00– $ 10.00 at the lowest however not strong enough. The crowd was good but not overly enthusiastic. The other side of the club that played R&B/Hip-Hop was the typical boring scene. Although the music was good pretty good on this side, all I saw was a crowd of people standing around, drinking, staring at one another around the room like a bad High School dance. All had to pay a cover charge to get in and that’s what you do? UGH! I have no time to waste on that. Overall, it was a good night but nothing spectacular. I might visit again sometime if there is an event there that interests me.

This place has a ton of LGBT events, but it seems they’re embarrassed to even mention those wildly successful affairs on their Facebook page or other promotions. It’s a perfect case of a venue willing to drain the LGBT community’s wallets/purses, but offer nothing in return. Shame on them!

yikes! It was past midnight on a Friday night – i went up classy stairs(no sarcasm, it really was aesthetically pleasing with mirror-covered walls surrounding the stairs up to 2nd fl where Lounge is. Okay, so upon finally reaching 2nd floor(but not puffing and huffing cuz thank god im in shape!), I checked out area while my friend was waiting back in car(strategy so if dead, we bounce and no cover for him). It was beautiful bartenders, decent music. But empty. Enough said. Adiós I went away, never to return.

Its okay looking in there, nothing special. Music, I don’t know if I went on Bachata only night, but thats alllllll I heard the entire time… I like bachata but not for 3 to 4 hours straight. drinking and hearing«corta venas» music all night, is not a fun night to me. I left with a head ache, enough said!

This place is not what it used to be… the website offers false advertisement & when you get there they act like what are you talking about. They offer free admission for ladies before 12 midnight but the doors open at 11:45& they take there time to make sure you pay $ 20 to get into this crappy place. You then go thru security & they make you throw out any gum you have in your bag or in your mouth… WTH… Whats weird is they also have a box there for flip flops… You have to leave them there not allowed in the club. Dont know what thats about… I was also told to prepay for my bottles in advance to reserve my VIP section… So we did pay only to sit there for about an hour & get ignored & attitude from the girl servers… just for asking where our bottles were. We then finally got our bottles & they were WATEREDDOWN… Make sure your bottles are closed when you get them… Forget about the free cake they offer for bdays it never came out. & the no waiting on line… All a lie… They tell you they have nothing to do with what the website offers… The only good thing was the music I should say Ok… But definitly not a place i would recommend to anyone.

I have to say that my number one issue with this place is the dresscode that states that men can wear jeans and sneakers(including converse) and women can’t wear sneakers, boots, or flats. Don’t even try to bring a pair to change into at the end of the night because they will be confiscated at the door and stuck in a box that you can dig through later if you so choose. They don’t seem to have a problem with women being on their bare feet in the club though. Saw lots of that. In any case, the place looks nice enough, $ 20 cover on the Friday night I attended. The music would have been enjoyable if the DJ didn’t enjoy the sound of his own voice so much. Every time that a good song came on it would be interrupted by his talking at least three times. Meh, there are better places to go to.

Sunday nights there are out of this world!!! its pretty big with 1 different floors and 2 different spacious rooms– 1 for latin music– that room has the palm trees and the elevated VIP seating, as well as the stage, and the 2nd room is just as big and fun but primarily for urban music. The spirit and the ambient sunday is just fun, many times in the middle of the night they give FREESHOTS! more than once, they have drink specials and crazy scorching go go girls and boys, as well as exciting performances by latin drag queens. Make no mistake– the stage show of latin drag queens are way different and many times more times more engaging in comparisn to others. Some have done all latin extravanganza floor shows, samba/bossa nova or reggaeton or salsa or upbeat classics. Ive also seen performances by other upcoming artist as well as competitions & pagent/“rumbles”.

So mainly I am a fan because I came here and Henry Santos was performing. The best time of my life.(yeah my review is a bit late). I came here another time and I had a good time as well. I love the music I never stop dancing, though they do not really have that big of a space for you to dance. But as long as you are careful with the way that you are dancing you will not knock into other people or otherwise get elbowed or a drink accidentally spilled on you. Hmm what else can I see good location but it is RIDICULOUS trying to find parking just driving around and around and around. Drinks are alright but I mean gets the job done. Will be back.

I hate this place: tacky and cheap. they still owe me money from the shifts I worked as a bartender. Time for some action.

This club has illegally spam text me after my multiple requests to stop. The irony is I don’t live in NYC so that is a reflection of how slimy the marketing team is. No one should go to a club who does illegal marketing, doesn’t follow through with multiple request to take me off their contact list, and running up spam texts at my expense. In the recession, this club better shape up because I have reported them to the FCC.

Ummm… okay. I am trying to review this spot without being biased and straight forward. So lets start with the likes: Inexpensive drinks which is always a plus in NYC; Public transportation on the same block which is good if you are not driving back home, to the telly, to ur ppls spots or the after party(take your pick… lol); and WOW… the beautiful latinas there go here… OMG! You have not seen soooo many beautiful Dominican, PRican, etc., females until you come to this spot… and wearing next to nothing at that… ayyyyeee!!! wepa! lol… DISLIKES: Not all but some of the bartenders are not organized in how to take an order for a drink. When I first got there I went to the bar to order a drink and had to wait damn near 20 – 25 mins to get my drinks cause she couldn’t figure out who she should go to next. I was ready to scream on this broad but lucky for her she was hot so I held back… lol. Another dislike, the décor kind of threw me off somewhat. I mean I know each club has its own theme and all and wants to be different from the next but the whole zebra print thing all over the club from the floors to the side of the club… ehhh. Not particularly my taste and not to mention that I can tell several drinks were spilled already by the time I got there which was around 2 am ish cause everytime I walked, my shoe felt like it was almost attached to the carpet… NOT A GOODLOOK… smh. Other than that, not that much a bad of a time. Could of been much better though but, its in the hood so with something like that you are gonna have your goods and your bads…

3 and a half… Oh god, why the zebra print? It doesn’t look good on shoes, on scarves, coats, etc., let alone all over the walls. And what’s with the clown balloons on the big, ceramic palm trees? But enough about the décor… This is a verrrrrry Spanish place, Dominican in particular. Naturally, it’s in the heart of the Heights. Took a while to get some people in the club and then on the dance floor, but if you like Spanish music, i.e. merengue, bachata, salsa, etc., this is a good place to be. Although the DJ could use a few mix lessons, booo! There is a second hip hop room, but that’s just used so that people can sit down every once in a while then head back to the Spanish room. Seriously, there was NOONE in there. lol. Not a bad place all in all.

I went there on grand opening night and I had a blast. Great for dancing(spanish — what else) everythign else is not dancing. Sorry but everyone knows that. Anyways, line was short that day, and it was packed by 11-ish. Alex sensation was there so i guess thats why it was full so early. Drinks are good and good price, dance floor big but looks like a safari gone wrong,. The zebra logo is the in the inside, zebra prints all over the place, can get a bit played. the second dance floor is hip hop, but to tell you the truth no need to step that way. I give it a 2 thumbs up, the only bad thing is looking for parking.

Picture Victoria Gotti’s closet throwing up and you’ll have an idea of the décor: tacky and gaudy in a classy kinda way. The Leopard Lounge is covered floor to ceiling in leopard print carpet… it’s even in the chandeliers. The main room is zebra print gone awry. It’s everywhere. Like a disease. With that being said, they have a guy on Friday’s who does face painting, while wearing a powder blue cowboy suit. Yes, I know. They also have 3 young girls dancing. They look like they’re practicing for their Sin City debut. Yes. I. Know. But the music is great. If you want to dance, you’ve found your spot. And by dance I mean Spanish music, b/c you can’t really dance to anything else. You can bop. Sway. Nod. Hump. To other music, but you only really dance to Spanish music.
