Over priced cheap clothing, and the employees are barely aware of the product they are selling. Shopping for suits is a disaster. If you ever have an issue don’t deal with the Owner, he is extremely arrogant and not helpful. It feels like they are just trying to make a sale and take your money and run. Very poor customer service standards and they have new employees working there every week which means to me very poor management. I have actually seen the owner yelling and micro managing his employees on the sales floor, very unfortunate for the staff. I am surprised a store like this still is even open with so many other stores that provide and excellent shopping atmosphere and experience. I would take my business to John Varvatos basically the same product but with better service standards and they deal with customer issues professionally.

Best dress shirts I’ve ever seen, hands down. They’re slim fit is perfect. Lightweight and breathable, extremely comfortable and the collars are amazing. You’d be hard-pressed to find the colors and patterns anywhere else.

Men’s apparel, mostly staple and classic items in very high end materials. My favorites are the outerwear pieces, very clean but still different enough that people will notice, always made with unbelievably soft wool/cashmere. If you’re tired of the same old big marketing brand names, ARI is a good choice. Everything, literally everything, is made in Italy.

One of my favorite places to shop in NYC! Ari has the best dress shirts and suits. The fit is like no other, designed for athletic build. I keep getting compliments on the stuff I bought(suit and 2 shirts) they look crisp and expensive and the quality is superb. Definitely worth the price!

While walking around Soho, a place where I frequently shop, I spotted this store and decided to walk in. Right away, a sales person was on me like white on rice. Pointing out every single item in the store. I was the only customer so maybe business was slow and I understand that the sales people are there to HELP you with your purchase but I felt pressured into purchasing something. Usually the statement«I’m just looking» gets them off your back so you can look around in peace, but it didn’t work with this guy. The sales person pointed out all the different jeans and where they were made and the type of denim. One pair of jeans that looked and felt identical to a pair of jeans I brought in Kenneth Cole were praised because they were supposedly japanese denim. After a few minutes of looking around with the sales guy breathing down my back, I decided to purchase the jeans just for the hell of if. None of the clothes had a price tag, which should have tipped me off, but I almost fell over when a single pair of jeans was $ 408. Now, I probably spend more than I should on jeans(mostly $ 40-$ 100) but $ 408 was far out of my price range, especially from a store/designer I never heard of and when the jeans don’t look or feel any different than Kenneth Cole(average price being $ 60) or A/X(average price being $ 80) Needless to say, thanks to the pressure given to customers by sales associates and the nonsense prices, I won’t be returning to the store.

My brother is an athlete and generally has a hard time finding clothing to fit his frame, that he doesn’t need to alter/tailor. We passed by ARI and he tried on the dress shirts and it fit perfectly! The suit jackets were incredible! – totally worth a stop in!

This is the ultimate high-end Italian store for _very_cool menswear. This stuff is so unique and well-made it makes me want to go to SoHo every time I’m in NYC. Prices are high but soo worth it.
