Coffee was great and WiFi was fast enough to get work done and listen to music via Spotify. Workers were very friendly. I had the cappuccino and it was made properly: very foamy at the top and the taste was strong.

My sister and I came here when we visited NY, hoping to find shelter from the rain in addition to some warm drinks. We got good warm drinks, but no shelter sadly because the café is super small and people were all studying inside. I ordered the matcha latte and I liked how strong the matcha flavor was. The drink was far too hot though, it took forever to cool down enough despite the fact that it was really cold outside. Other than that, the drink was quite good. I can’t speak much to the service, since they hardly had any seats inside, much less any empty seats. The cashiers seemed a bit impatient, asking us what we wanted right after we walked in, but nice overall.

I’ve frequented 12 Corners for a while now, and they are pretty much as good as it gets. Definitely try their Pumpkin Spice Latte, it’s my go to favorite. I’ve only tried their Mocha and their Matcha Green Tea Latte once before, but they’re both pretty good. Additionally, if you’re popping in here for breakfast and you manage to get here early, try their Ham and Cheese croissant, their bagels(Everything Bagel, toasted and with cream cheese is my personal favorite), and their pound cakes. All of them are divine! The staff is amazing, friendly, and super helpful. Décor is welcoming and homey. And… they have free Wi-Fi! Just ask for the password. I know from experience that any coffee here won’t disappoint. They live up to their 1st place on Business Insider’s Best Coffee Shops in NYC List.

Excellent creamy and perfect sweet hot chocolate. I swing by this café since my sister works around the corner: I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The pastries must be very popular they are always sold out. They have Good service and good speed: I just wish there are more seats … It’s always full.

Monday Afternoon Freezing outside and want something warm? Come to 12 corners! I walked into 12 Corners on Monday and it was packed in there. I ordered a Green tea Latte and it was great. They have latte art designs too! Because its green tea, the powder is a bit bitter but I love green tea and matcha! It reduces the amount of sweetness in my drink and its healthy for you! Anyways, the drink was great and I would definitely come back again!

Found this place using a coffee app called CUPS and just kept coming back. They make an amazing latte with your choice of regular, skim, almond, or soy milk. The kicker is regulars have two shots of espresso and the large has FOUR. Their coffee is strong without being bitter or grainy and they also have a great selection of teas including matcha green. Although I’ve never had time to stay and sip, the place is filled with wall to wall books and always filed with customers. If you’re ever wanting to treat yourself to some morning bites I highly recommend the muffins which are flavorful and light(although admittedly not likely very good for you). I’m a huge fan and so happy it lives on the LES right above the east Broadway F train.

Today was such a brutal cold morning. Came in around 9:30AM and the place was pretty full. The line was going very quickly. There were 2 seats opened and after I ordered, the seat right in front of the barista opened and I put my bag there and waited. It took about 5 minutes to make my drink so while waiting I decided to sit. The barista saw me sat down, I thought he would call out to tell me when my drink was ready. Nope, he came around the area and out to the floor to put it on the table for me! I think that was such amazing service! Thank you again sir! Now here is review on the cappuccino. I have to say it is the best! I usually load my coffee/lattes/cappuccino with sugar or syrup. I did not add anything to this because it was amazing on it’s own. It was strong and very very smooth! If I am ever around here, I will definitely come back here because the service is amazing and the cappuccino is delicious!

12 Corners NY Manhattan Chinatown 11am Tuesday 22nd December 201 Four Stars Located off East Broadway, this coffee is a cosy respite from the rain and the other not-so-nice business around this area. I was greeted immediately upon entering. I had a flat white($ 3.5) to stay. They proudly serve Kobrick Coffee which has been roasting since 1920. The white mug has the Kubrick Logo. The espresso was bold with dark chocolate and stone fruit flavors. It had smooth finish and had a medium-high caffeine level. The milk and foam were light, neutral tasting. The latte art was a classic heart. There was not any seating available. All 10 two top tables were taken by busy worker/student bees.

I had this spot saved for a bit. Finally, I got a chance to try their green tea latte w/almond milk. It was delicious! Def put simple syrup to give it more sweetness. I had other versions from different cafes but it was not memorable at all. It was flat and watery prob from the milk. Not at 12 corners, their version is fantastic. Frothy and rich. Same with their regular lattes. ;) Staff were friendly and helpful as well. I will def return again to try other drinks!

I live in Brooklyn. I work in Midtown but I’d still make my way here to grab a drink from here right before work. Good vibes, cozy feeling, friendly staff, great drinks! They make amazing lattes!

Great coffee spot right on E Broadway next to the F train. This place is very busy. Everytime I come here there is always a line but it moves fast. The staff is very organized and the shop is very clean. They take plastic also and has a restroom for customer use. Seating is somewhat limited but it’s cozy. There’s outlets on the walls to charge laptops and phones with WiFi for customer use. They offer a small bench for outdoor seating when the weather permits.

This place is great. $ 2.50 coffee with one free warm-up. Delicious, fresh pastries, though I doubt they’re made on site. I went with the dark cherry Danish. Try that. Free wi-fi. Complimentary ice water. Friendly staff. And a bathroom. What more could you ask for in New York? There was some construction going on out front when I went here in October 2015, so for the time being, this may not be the most conducive coffee shop for studying if that’s your goal.

One of those places where if you’re planning to stay, you need to hover and stalk someone out of their seat. However, once you do it’s such a nice, chill atmosphere to plug in(or de-plug) and use their wifi. I’d feel bad staying longer than an hour since they are such a small shop. The employees are very nice and even help you find a seat. They didn’t require me to pay until the end of my stay, which is… interesting. Had the matcha, which was solid. Months later I don’t remember if it was anything special, but it definitely wasn’t bad.

Ran in here to pick up my free coffee(thanks to my CUPS apps!) on national coffee day. Cheers to my fellow coffee-lovers! It’s just across the F train stop so it’s easily accessible. The free wifi is awesome and the staff is very friendly. It is rather warm in there, but my iced chai latte with almond milk helped cool me down. The almond flavor compliments the chai well, and the result is a sweet, refreshing gulp that rolls off the tongue and keeps you sipping! Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of sweet things normally so getting through my chai latte took a while. However, the quiet environment is conducive to studying. I’ll probably settle down with my laptop next time to buckle down and hit the books. I wouldn’t mind revisiting and trying something else on the menu! P. S. Their pastry selection is rather small but they all seem like great study snacks.

Anyone reading this must be thinking whether or not one really good cup of drip could spring 12 Corners to five-star status. Yeah, that cup was as good in black as one I had the day before at La Colombe Torrefaction made from its«beloved» blend, and I preferred the flavor of the 12 Corners coffee. It’s position in the neighborhood adjacent to the East Broadway station and the pleasant décor and comfortable seating wrap up the package. BONUS — comfortable seating and pleasant décor

As this area of Chinatown(or Lower Lower East Side if you will) continues to slowly gentrify, it’s nice to see businesses like 12 Corners growing alongside newer transplants. They use Kobrick Coffee which is a pretty solid sign out of the gates. The coffee is about as old as the neighborhood itself is, so it’s nice to see them getting some love. The shop is quaint with easy to access wife, fun regulars, and one of the better matcha drinks you’ll find in the city. I personally can’t do an entire cup of matcha without bouncing off the walls, but I know it’s got a cult following. If you can tolerate it, you’ll dig it. They close a bit early, so your best bet is a morning or lunch hang.

Cute little place unexpected in East Broadway. They have the flat white on the menu which always makes my eyes sparkle. I think they did me a good flat white, definitely had very light foam and was very tasty. When you first enter it can feel a bit crowded but people seem to leave really fast so tables become available pretty quickly! Free wifi is always extra points. The barista also told me they opened a new location on Mott st, can’t wait to try that one too :)

This place is located at the edge of Chinatown. Walked by a bunch of Chinese bus companies to get here. A little sketchy. I thought this place was alright. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. No place to sit at all for my friends and I. PROS: — PUMPKINLATTE — $ 4 the drink is sweet compared to the matcha latte. It tastes really similar to the Starbucks’ pumpkin latte. Nothing special here. — ALMONDCROISSANT — $ 3 — this was actually pretty good. It’s sweet and loved the powdered sugar and almond pieces on the top of the croissants. — DECOR — was pretty hip. A few pieces of art here and there. Plaques and awards displayed on right side of the shop. THEOKAY: — MATCHALATTE — this was overrated. I usually love anything matcha/green tea related but this was $ 4(small size) and the drink was BLAND. I guess it’s sort of healthy because there’s no sugar in it like Starbucks but it was TOOFROTHYANDMILKY. The only thing they got going for them is the design they do on the lattes. I had better green tea latte at Mitsuwa Marketplace and café de cupping. CONS: — SMALLPLACE — HARDTOGETSEATS — a bunch of people are sitting there with their laptops and lounging there for what looks like a couple of hours. It makes it hard for other people to get a seat who just want to probably sit for 10 –15 minutes and chat with their friends. NOTE: I had high expectations for this place but this was a little disappointing.
