Babies R Us

I have never had better customer service at a retail store than I had here.
I felt so bad that we took so much of Jeremy and Brandon’s time, but they never made us feel like that the entire time. It was almost like we had a personal shopper with all the questions we gave them being first time parents.

Oddly enough they are on par with buy buy baby. Babies r us seems to have more clothes but that’s about it nobody ever seems to be in a hurry but a bonus for them is they offer many classes which is nice for first time parents

This is NOT directed to our local Babies R Us. I had placed a baby registry order and received confirmation. Then was sent another email saying that the order had been split and 1 item (pack of 2 bibs) was shipped to an address other than the registry, which I’d used 2 ½ years ago! When I questioned it, after 23 mins on the phone, I was told that as a 1 time courtesy to me, they were going to wave the shipping charges to send out another of the same item to the right place. Courtesy to me??? How about «we are fixing OUR mistake»? I am not asking the person who did receive the item to send it back… very awkward. I was also told that it was a «customer mistake». It took me 5 times of asking to speak to a supervisor before the order taker agreed to put me on hold for another 13 mins while he got a supervisor on the phone. They offered me free shipping and a $ 10 off coupon for the next time I shopped. There won’t be a next time and my 36 minutes is worth way more that the lousy $ 10 off!

The customer service at this store is horrendous! Don’t buy furniture here. No one knows how to work the computer to look up orders, no one knows the policies on sale prices/​promotions and they’re rude. The assistant manager told me she’d have the manager call me but that never happened — probably because she knew I would complain about her!

I’m going to be sad when my youngest is too big for BRU. I love it here. Everything that you need (and don’t need) for your baby in one stop. Their selection of baby clothes is great, especially for girls. They have a newly expanded Toys R Us section for the holidays that makes shopping that much easier. Their registry is easy and fun. The staff is good overall. I’ve had a random problem here and there but nothing unusual. I would say the only real downfall here is that there always seems to be long lines. Kind of irritating but now I know that when I go and factor it in.
