Hard to enter but worth the hunt. For first time visitors finding the right door on the property or navigating the halls to the right area is frustrating if not daunting. There is a wide variety of seating spaces in the place. It seemed a bit of an inconvenience for the staff to have to serve us. But we certainly enjoyed our lunch and our brews. Both were perfectly nice but nothing to write about at length.

Beer pretty good, generous portions and friendly waitstaff. We ate in the garden area outside the pub which was pretty and shady.

We were looking forward to having dinner here during our recent stay in the White Mountains. It was pretty busy when we arrived around 6pm. We probably benefited from it being early in the season and we were seated right away. The dining room looked a little worn and shabby and service was slow. This fact caused us to stick to appetizers for our meal. We went with the pulled pork nachos and the sweet potato ravioli. The ravioli was good but the sauce was overly sweet. The nachos were good, loaded with cheese and pulled pork. The kids meals were fine. So were the beers. Service was friendly if a little slow, the server was still in training.

Rainy day in Lincoln NH — couldn’t hike so we decided to do the brewery tour in North Woodstock. Anthony, brewer and tour guide, was very informative and answered all our questions(and we asked a lot). We tasted several beers and received a pint glass(with a craft beer logo) as a souvenir! Thanks Anthony for providing rainy day education and entertainment!!!

My husband and I decided to dine here after he had been there earlier in the week with friends for dinner. I ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri that was on the menu, it was made with Amaretto. Oh my goodness, it was delightful, I ended up having 2! We then had some duck wings, those were fabulous as well. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich & I had a burger, both were delicious. As we went to pay for our meal, an unfortunate accident happened where our card was dropped & was unable to be reached by hand. The bartender and the manager handled it amazingly. We truly appreciate their attentiveness to the matter at hand. I highly recommend this restaurant & we will be back(hopefully before bike week next year)!

Not sure how this place was voted the number one place to eat New Hampshire. The place was a little rundown, and in major need of an update. Everything we ordered was less than desirable, the only thing I would have again was the beer. Would not recommend, and would never go there again.

A great place for food and ambiance, so as long as you’re willing to forgive the slow service, or less-than-polite staff. The restaurant is situated in Woodstock, off the main path that Lincoln offers for people traveling up to Loon. Little on-site parking means that you’ll be parking on the street, but usually there isn’t much of a walk needed to get to either of the entrances. The place gets pretty full at night, so make sure you either have a reservation, or are ready to wait. I tried calling ahead the other night, and was told that they«Don’t give wait times, because people come in to wait.» and«I can’t help you, come in and see for yourself.» Not a big deal, my party skipped dinner and decided to go for lunch the next day. We got right in and were led down the maze of hallways to a back dining area which overlooked the patio and main Woodstock road. It took almost 20 minutes for anyone to notice we were there and hadn’t received any service, but once they finally showed up, things were rolling. I got the Chef’s Mess sandwich, and my girlfriend picked up The Gobbler sandwich meals. They came out very quick, checked on us once, and then again to pick up the bill. My sandwich was pulled pork with coleslaw and brie on a soft roll and hit all the right points. I wished there could have been more coleslaw on it, but regardless it was tasty. She seemed to really enjoy her sandwich as well, though I wish looking back that we had ordered some of those appetizers, like the goat cheese dip. I had been here in the past and loved the brews, and this time around, really got to enjoy the food. I’m not pleased that the service this past weekend was pretty iffy, but I’d return to try out some of the other options on the menu.

Not a fan and will not come back. Ordered the fish and chips… the fries weren’t hot and the small piece of fish tasted like it was refried from the previous day. I’m sure their other dishes are much better…

We have been long time customers of the Woodstock Station and Brewery… and have always had a good experience but this past Sunday 5⁄29 was the exception. The inside bar area had one waiter who was trying his best to deliver good service but the general manager was horrible. She was yelling at this waiter in front of all the customers to come and get his hot food items. I like my food to be hot but yelling in front of customers is not professional. I do not fault the waiter who was doing a good job in spite of being over worked but the GM’s behavior was not acceptance.

Some of the best breakfast food you can ask for. Coming from Boston, the seafood here really impressed, with some of the nicest staff of any bed and breakfast we’ve ever been to. Doesn’t hurt that they are also a brewery and have some really good selections!

Returned on Thursday night and found the chicken parm bar special is back to being good again. Tonight I had the cheese steak and the portions remain generous. Glad to see the brewery has upped its game and seems to be returning to its former glory. Who said competition isn’t good? The beer options remain staggering and the parking has improved.

Always order the specials here, the menu is too big and they try to do too many things. The maple salmon special was really good. If you are looking for a staple I have had good luck with the taco salad. The beer is pretty horrible for a brewery.

Sat at the bar for lunch. Very helpful people behind the bar. They knew the taps and had great directions. We had the bone marrow and pork wings to start. Marrow was well done but the pork wings were not as tender as I had hoped. Moved on to the Train wreck sandwich(which was open face) and it had a generous serving of meat. Next came the Old Man burger. It was fantastic. Well seasoned and served on soft ciabatta roll, this was the best thing by far that we sampled. Hats off the guy(or girl) who decided to spend the extra money for a grass fed beef.

About the restaurant /manager My fiancé and I have come here with friends or with family every single time we are up north(after skiing, after hikes, after leaf peeping) Tonight, I met the general manager, Denise, and could not have been more frustrated and appalled by her. I usually can let rude people not bother me, but this one deserves a review so others can know how horrible she treats customers. Basically, this lady was just a horrible human being and we did not even go eat there because of her! She lied to us twice, was extremely condescending and just plain rude to the point that we were starving after just hiking Franconia ridge and could not even stomach eating there as we wouldn’t put it past her to spit in our food. We went down the street to a new brewery called One Love brewery where the service was completely opposite(welcoming, kind, considerate). When you go away for a weekend getaway and spend your hard earned money to have a good time, the last thing you want or should have to encounter is someone like Denise from the Woodstock brewery. Spare yourself if she’s there and working! I talked to s few locals about this after we left and they completely agreed with me! It’s a known thing in town and personally no one should have to put up with that.

As an avid hiker, Woodstock Station and Brewery tends to be a go-to place for post hike eats. Sure, they are packed on busy weekends(prime skiing season, leaf peeping season, and Summer), but so is every other restaurant in the area. Even with a large group, they tend to be able to seat us in under 40 mins, which is pretty good for one of the more popular places in town. I’ve mostly enjoyed their food over the years. They have decent burgers, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, and chili. They have a good weekday happy hour in the bar on appetizers and of course, their beer is delicious. My only beef is that they tend to up-charge for everything. My friend is gluten free and she was up-charged a couple of bucks for a small order of mushy broccoli as a side vs the other sides which she mostly couldn’t eat because of her allergy. I recently went and ordered a soup and salad combo. I ordered a cup of their chili as my soup, as it was listed under soups and there was nothing saying that it couldn’t be part of the combo(most other restaurants you can use chili as a soup as part of similar combos). When I ordered the chili i was not informed that there was an extra charge for this. When I got my bill I was shocked to see that I was charged an extra 3 $ for the chili! I’m sorry but 14 $ for a garden salad and cup of chili is pretty outrageous. Honestly, most of their meals are pretty overpriced for what you get. I still enjoy their bison burger, but that too will run you around 14 bucks or so. it saddens me to decrease my review from 5 to 3 stars, but their willingness to sneakily charge that much extra money for items that aren’t worth the cost is getting out of control. I’ve also had a few times where our service has just been awful. Having been going to Woodstock loyally for many years, I’ve began to find myself at other establishments close by that have made the experience more worth the high cost of their food. I’ll be sticking mostly to beer from now on and grabbing food elsewhere.

Disappointed, maybe because when I was in College I had different expectations and thought this place was great about 10 years ago. Although their renovations are great, their service did not match their upgrades. I feel like their«brewery status» brings the volume of customers especially during ski season and no doubt the beer is great but the service and cleanliness needs a little TLC. The bartender gave us a beer menu which looks like a place mat which was used by a previous customer with food on it. They circle the beers they have on tap at the time to allow the customer to choose what to order. They should come up with a different option for a seasonal change of beer menu. The first floor bathroom needed a little help but the upstairs bathroom was ok. When we asked what they recommended we go the response. «everything is good here» oh great thanks for the heads up. We had cheeseburgers and they were ok. Stay away from the stale popcorn not worth the energy to get up and serve yourself. Prices are about the same for Common Man for better service, cleanliness and atmosphere.

My butthole will definitely be feeling the aftermath of their«dirty throw in the kitchen nachos» Also they need not give that white dipping sauce on all their apps Hold the bacon and the bunz one customer screamed across the room which was probably due to be black out As I digress, there was an issue with the bill got 15 $ over charged manager said he could only give us 10 $ not sure why the 5 dollars was gonna kill them but okay I guess…

After visiting the Ice Castle we needed to warm and grab a great local beer and local, farm raised beef in the form of a tasty burger. We were not let down. Staff was great. Upstairs bar was Cozy and we didn’t need to wait for the dining room. The onion rings are great! The 4,000 footer IPA is fantastic!

We came here to check it out as a wedding venue, but ended up staying for beers, apps, and the Pats game. In general, I was super impressed with this place. It feels very homey and there are a lot of different seating options so that you can be comfortable no matter what. It was super busy due to the football game, but we managed to find a high top table for 3 of us. The beers were pretty good. Not mind blowingly awesome– more middle of the road drinkable. My favorites were the Pig’s Ear Brown and the Wassail. We tried several in a flight, and then went for full pints of our favorites. Then, the best thing happened! Our waiter told us to wait to order pints and apps because happy hour was starting in 10 minutes and we’d get $ 1 off pints and half price apps! I love it when wait staff think about the customer experience like that. We ordered some nachos and they were wonderful. A ton of stuff on them, including chili. The only thing I was annoyed with was that we specifically asked for no jalapenos, but when the nachos arrived, there were jalapenos right on top. Overall, a great place! It was a nice place to watch the Pats game(as long as you like enthusiastic fans) and grab a snack.

Spent a night in Lincoln/N. Woodstock. The locals recommended the Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery. They had me at locally-brewed beer. The Pig’s Ear Brown Ale is one of their award-winning signature beers that are always on tap. I love brown ales – for me, it’s a quintessential fall beer. Their’s was really smooth with the roasted malts coming through and giving the beer the perfect«nuttiness» that I appreciate in a great brown ale. Their Pemi Pale Ale is also a winner. You’ll find more than a dozen beers on tap, including their seasonal selections. I could have stopped with the beer and been fine with my visit. However, they have an extensive menu, too. While the menu is available both in the dining room and the ample-sized bar area, my recommendation would be the bar, as it’s a festive place, and was, even on a slower, Monday night. Soups, salads, nachos, pizza, ribs, a nice cut of steak, and seafood – have I left anything out? I guess it comes down to what you fancy and maybe what beer you’re drinking. My fish and chips was great. An ample piece of fresh scrod deep fried, but not greasy. The fries were plentiful and crisp(although, not hand-cut). The cole slaw was very good. The meal was good, not outstanding. I could knock my review back a star on the food, although I’d probably done better going with a different choice. Being on the road, I stuck with something basic and I wanted fish and I’m not a fan of salmon(which is also on the menu). What made the overall experience outstanding was how they make first-time visitors feel, which is, like a regular. Shouldn’t every place you walk into do the same? Sadly, that’s not the case. If you’re in the area hiking, or skiing at nearby Loon Mountain, driver over to North Woodstock(quaint little New England small town feel) and visit the Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery. Sit at the bar, have one of their beers or try a couple, and experience another side of New Hampshire that you might have missed traveling up and down I-95.
