Excellent food, cozy atmosphere! They have a warm fireplace with cheese and crackers in the lounge area. Waitstaff are very friendly and service was fast. Offer a children’s menu too! Would recommend to families! Reasonably priced menu.

Great atmosphere. Hearty fireplace in the winter time. They offer complementary cheese and crackers at the cheese bar which was a nice touch. My daughter and I ordered the escargots. It came with melted cheese, which surprisingly was good. My daughter ordered a bacon burger medium rare and sweet potato fries which were tasty. I had the special: panko breaded chicken with butternut squash ravioli in a maple cream sauce. Interesting combination, I applaud the effort.

We were greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. Introduced to their complimentary cheese station while we waited for our appetizers. The lobster corn chowder is delicious. Our server was fast and attentive to help us get out in time to visit the ice castle! Highly recommend!

it was our first time to this restaurant.
it’s a pretty cool place, they have self serve cheese n crackers while you wait to be seated. the uncommon salad was very fresh and delicious. mixed grill was nicely flavored and cooked to perfection.
the mud pie dessert was omg out of this world! simple yet scrumptious
this is a definite do over! we’ll be back!

A fave for many years. Had the mac & cheese for the first time — yum! The service & atmosphere are always great — just what I’m looking for, for apres ski dinners with family & friends. Charlie the server is always the best. But they recently changed the meatloaf and it’s not as good. It tastes like it has a lot of filler like bread crumbs or wheaty stuff — was dry and not that… meaty. Please change it back C-​man!

Went here last night for dinner. Have been here before and enjoyed it. They don’t take reservations, however we were able to call ahead, for our party of 9. It feels the same our table was ready when we arrived. however, it was a quiet night.
Waitress was very attentive and always came back to check on drinks and water. All meals ½ baked chicken, shrimp scampi mac and cheese, flatbread, stuffed peppers, and apple stuffed chicken were very good, only one exception would be the steak tips, seemed to be a small portion.
They provided plenty of rolls and bread before the meal, as well as their signature cheese and crackers from the fireplace room.
Nice cozy restaurant, good service, food and great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

This was a great experience from start to finish. From the atmosphere in the lounge, to chatting up other couples while we waited for a table, right through to our server (Samantha, you rock!) And of course THE FOOD! It was all just perfect. We will definitely come back when we’re in the area!

Lodgy family atmosphere, decent food, friendly staff… very New Hampshire.
I ate here with a group of friends after weathering the cold at the Ice Castle up the road, and had a nice dinner warming up with some hot soup, flatbread, and a glass of wine. Will also make you a cheeseburger even though it’s not on the menu.
They have cheese and crackers and dip that’s help yourself in the bar area that you can bring back to your table as you wait for your food. Don’t ask what’s in the house dip… lots of ingredients you wouldn’t think go well together.
But anyway, very cozy (and busy) place, would definitely return!
