Wonderful breakfast place! Been here twice in past month and both times, it has been delicious. The food is fresh and well-presented. The pancakes were light and delicious — among best pancakes I have ever eaten. The waitstaff is kind and helpful. We love the western décor. The prices are very good. We much prefer this restaurant over the other option in Lincoln due to its friendliness, cleanliness and diverse breakfast menu. Will try and get back soon for the lunch and dinner options!

The breakfast was fabulous. In spite of the lengthy wait to get our breakfast we thoroughly enjoyed having a leisurely Sunday Brunch. Don’t be fooled by the name. There was no Texas Toast on the menu. I would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

My wife and I have had breakfast at TX Toast about 10+ times over the past year and have had nothing but great experiences. They are a bit of a hidden gem because of their location but we are so glad we found them and do not have to wait in hour + lines anymore. I have had most of the menu at this point and everything is great, particularly their blueberry and banana flapjacks, omelettes and steak+eggs, fries, etc. and one thing I appreciated a lot is their sweet tea, it tastes just like it does down South.

We go to NH to see Fall foliage every year. We always eat dinner at a different place. This time we stopped at Texas Toast and Pig Ear. The location is kind of inconvenient and very small. Ok… the food. We, upon recommendation, ordered the sampler. First off, they said it was enough for 2. It’s not. Very small portions of meat, Cole slaw and potato salad. They come in those small bowls that you see on cooking shows that hold spices. So small that my husband and I got one meat each. The chicken wings, dry and chewy. The water, beware… it has bleach in it. So strong you can smell it. However, the corn on the cob was hot and good, the corn muffins were soft and buttery… very good. The tables were spaced and comfortable but all in all… we won’t go back. Small portions of bbq and being from the deep south, I couldn’t wait to eat some pork bbq… very bummed out!

Food was good but the service was slow. I highly recommend the blueberry and banana wheat flap Jacks. The décor was interesting and tried to blend the tastes of NH and Texas.

Little gem in heart of Lincoln. Went here because the line was WAY too long at Flapjacks and it was completely worth it. Just made it to breakfast before they switch to lunch. Read some reviews and was a little weary but very impressed. I had egg white frittata with veggies and my hubby had an egg white ham and cheese omelet. Both were decent size and tasted great. The presentation was excellent too with a healthy amount of cut up fruit on the side. He had the potatoes but they were not out by the time the food was ready for they have us extra hash browns beforehand. Staff were also very pleasant and talkative when we told them about our diet plans.

We ate here for breakfast. The food is good, portions are average but prices are high. 2 eggs, toast, and hash browns, no meat $ 9. 3 small pieces of french toast, no meat $ 10. I know Lincoln is expensive but this was too much.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better» says it all. We came here because of the awesome reviews, but I had to review since I had a different experience. I got two eggs fried which came with toast and I opted for hash browns. I added«maple cured bacon» as a side because the eggs did not come with meat. The eggs really had no flavor and the yolk was cooked through, the hash browns were not really crispy, and the toast was just regular toast and was not served buttered. I expected better toast from a place called«Texas Toast Eatery.» I didn’t love the bacon either, it was chewy and tasted more like ham. We also had to wait very long for it to come out after ordering. A simple breakfast like the one I got really had no excuse to take as long as I did, especially since there were very few customers. Overall it was overpriced, over $ 8 for two eggs+hashbrowns+toast, and $ 4 to add a side of bacon(three pieces). I couldn’t believe it cost $ 35 for two of us for breakfast, in MA you can get much better breakfasts for around $ 15 for two people… PROs: We went Saturday at 10am and got seated right away. It was not packed at all. Waitress was VERY nice and friendly.

What a wonderful dinner. Pulled pork on Texas toast with baked beans and potato salad. The beans taste just like the ones my grandfather made when I was a kid.

My family stopped here on the way back to MA. We were all in the mood for breakfast food however we could not find any place still serving breakfast. The whole family complained because I picked a BBQ place to eat. All complaints stopped as soon as the food was served! Jalapeño cornbread muffin were amazing! The kids devoured the chuck burgers! My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the brisket sandwich which was so good! The whole family left full, happy and talking about how good the food was.

Went here with 7 people today. Sat right down, while there was an hour wait up the street. What a home run place. Great service … Omlettes are killer with a big selection of ingredients. Good plate presentation with fruit on the side. Get the shredded hashbrowns as they are crispy as heck. A true hidden mountain gem.

I am really surprised at the bad reviews. We have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. I will admit sometimes the food takes a bit longer than other places but that is all forgotten when the food comes out. The food is visually beautiful along with tasting great. The extra few minutes is well worth it. Best breakfast in the White Mountains!

The location is a little akward due to being in a building under renovation. We had lunch which the name changes to Pig Ear BBQ– seafood chowder and jalepeno cornbread were fantastic. Short ribs were fall off the bone tender and finger licking good!

We’ll start with the bad and move on to the good. The service was really weird. We came with 10 people and even though there were about 5 open tables and we quickly offered to split our group, they seemed very hesitant to seat us. They kept wanting us to stand and wait, but wouldn’t tell us why, and after we asked a few times they finally seated us, but they were really weird about it. Don’t know what was going on there… there was a fair amount of smoke coming from the kitchen… a fire? Another thing about the service was that the waitress didn’t seem to know the menu very well, and also when she took the order for our table of six, she took everyone’s meal order and then circled around the table again to ask us about sides and toppings, and during that time forgot what most people had ordered, even though she wrote it down. The hash browns were straight up disgusting. They were lukewarm, connected by a plug of potato that hadn’t been cut into strings, and had a close resemblance to overcooked pasta. None of it was remotely browned. I got a breakfast burrito though and that was pretty tasty, although I will say that it comes with a pretty heavy blanket of thick queso sauce(that I would put money on is tostito’s brand. homegirl knows her quesos.) that can be a little overwhelming, especially if that’s not your thing or you were expecting a light sauce. Still, I liked it and happily ate the whole thing, steering clear of the aforementioned abomination that was those hashbrowns. Wouldn’t come here again, but seeing as we really only came because the pancake place in town was packed to the rafters, it wasn’t our first choice to begin with, and after eating here I don’t think we were wrong.

I thought I would write a long review detailing our experience here, but I can summarize easily. We went for breakfast, The food was good, but the service was so poor its really comical. Also, it’s not particularly clean either. McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts would be far better choices, unless of course you appreciate the comedic value of extraordinarily poor service.

Terrible service and food was bland. Waited 45 minutes for an egg breakfast nothing hard to make. Food came out one plate at a time first cold dry toast, then a plate of bacon and several minutes later our over medium eggs that were done over easy! Asked for water and never got it until the second time requested. Wait staff was not that busy and never asked once how our meal was or did we want anything else. Over priced $ 2.00 for one extra egg. Will not recommend or return.

Absolute best breakfast in Lincoln, if not New England. My boyfriend and I eat out for breakfast around 4 days a week and have tried all«the best» places in Boston but The Texas Toast Eatery blew them all away. Everything from the interior design to the presentation to the taste of the food was incredible. The service was awesome too! We went their during late lunch, after breakfast was done being served, and they were still kind enough to let us get breakfast. Truly a «mom and pop» kind of place. We got the stuffed french toast, blueberry banana wheat flapjacks and a whole bunch of eggs over easy(gotta have your egg whites). Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, even the eggs, were mouth watering and cooked to perfection. You could tell all the recipes were original and not from anywhere around here. We had the chance to meet the owner/chef… the woman is a complete genius. Her daughter waiting on us was a complete sweetheart too and a very attentive server. A MUST eat if up in Lincoln or just passing by on the high way, it’s about 2 minutes off the exit. The 3.5 stars on Unilocal is complete misrepresentation. This place is a perfect 10!

Have to downgrade after my 5-star review last year. Went again for breakfast this year. Food was Okay — but kind of lack-luster. Orange French toast no longer on bauguet like last year(despite saying as such on the menu). Regular French toast seemed flavorless, cardboard-like and a bit stale. Hash browns weren’t nice and crispy like before — kind of «mushy» in the middle. Seemed like a place that was was once great is now letting their standards skip.

Family Vacation was a success thanks to this place. It was little hard to find because of the construction and it’s located in a renovated building in the back of a mall shopping center. BUT forget all that minor details, THEFOODWASTHESTAR&CUSTOMERSERVICE. It was 7 of us and they treated us wonderfully even though we arrived a few minutes before closing. We ordered practically everything on the menu and LOVED everything. Food: Flapjacks was delicious. Moist and fluffy and full of flavor. French Toast was beautiful to look at with fresh fruits, whip cream, and delicious. Home Fries was delicious. Omelettes was cooked to perfection. Service: Attentive Friendly Quick
