Wish I could give this place a double negative 0. I took my son and daughter in law here for breakfast. Absolutely, the worst breakfast ever! My daughter in law and I ordered a Hash and cheese omelet. Which comes with home fries. We were charged a up charge for home fries of 3.50 a piece. Are you kidding me. Furthermore, they were something we could not eat. They were canned potatoes, not even fresh potatoes, sogging and dripping with oil from a fryolater. Pan fries are not deep fried, nor do they come from a can. Pure laziness on the cooks part. To say the least the omelets were gross. 3 breakfasts ended up costing $ 47. Plus. Which is unheard of for breakfast. Save your money and don’t go to this place. Go to Lincoln to Flap Jacks. Breakfast is delicious there and the pan fries are REAL fresh potatoes, NOT from a can. They have REAL syrup also.

Good place to go for breakfast. A family owned and operated business. Service is quick, coffee is good, and you can get in and out quick. A favorite waiter is the owners son. He waited on us today(forgot name) and had a good story about his family who have been in the area for generations. We come here often when in the Lincoln area.

Visited during mud season when many places are closed. Found this little gem on Unilocal.A quaint family run business. We visited twice this week and both times the floor is taken care of my 2 people who both did a great job in servicing tables. They were pleasant and friendly. Great home cooked breakfast that is reasonably priced. Loved the stuffed French Toast and the home fries were delicious. It is nothing fancy however it is clean and comfortable. Remember to take cash as they don’t accept anything else however if you forget there is an ATM in the back.

Came with my family on a wim other places where so over packed this place was open and pleanty of seating available 1 St thing I did was look at Unilocal and got a bad feeling from Unilocal but decided to try it any way the food was very good worth the price it’s a small place in a small town if you are in the area and are hungry don’t skip this place worth a try especially if all the other places are packed why wait it’s hot it fresh

The food was awful. The«home fries» were floppy and super-greasy. My omelette was some kind of plastified white surface with some veggies thrown in from a can. Similar experience for the fruit salad, directly from the box. The 4 and 5-star reviews are all from people with 1 check-in. Fake reviews?

Great breakfast place, a bit outdated/warned out but authentic, with friendly staff, fast service and delicious food. Our favorite breakfast place in town.

We couldn’t find a breakfast spot until I used Unilocal. This is a very cozy place. Everyone is very friendly. The service is fast and nice. I ordered the eggs and toast with home fries. My husband had the steak and eggs with the blueberry pancakes. The good is very good. I will come back

Two words — tourist trap. They obviously don’t rely on repeat business. The food was terrible and the anorexic looking waitress with dark sunken in eyes needs to learn manners. I asked for over easy eggs and they were over hard and dry. The way they cook potatoes is COMPLETELAZINESS. They open a can and deep fry them. Even the toast looked like it’s from a 79¢ dry loaf on the day old rack. Come on people. It’s ok to try to do a good job. You can buy bags of shredded potato and dump them on the grill — easy enough — but the old lady cooking doesn’t want to scrape the flat-top grill. LAZINESS. They do not know what«fresh» or «flavorful» food is. As for the server, she has a huge attitude problem. I was shocked when they said they take cash only, and I wasn’t too happy about paying atm fees. So she says with a huge fake smile«there’s an atm right over there.» Now if you didn’t grow up in whitetrashville you would know when a customer is upset you don’t smile as if you enjoy it. I then told her ok that’s fine but guess who is paying the atm fee? YOUARE, because I’m not tipping you. If you want heated up canned food with a huge side of attitude give this dive a shot.

We sat down, took a look at the servers, who all looked high on something, and walked out. Not recommended!

Decent prices make this place a regular vacation breakfast haunt for me. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Home fries are a little greasy but I sill ate them.

Came in for breakfast on our way to go hiking. Service was fine. Nothing special. The coffee was good. My french toast left a lot to be desired, very thin, little flavor. My wife’s omelette was runny. My son’s pancakes were the oddest looking pancakes I’ve ever seen. They looked uniformly like gears which was odd. I feel like there are better breakfast locations in the area.

For years when staying in Lincoln NH. Pegs Restaurant has always been my ‘go to’ breakfast place. Once again on Saturday morning I visited Pegs! The place smelled as good as always, bacon cooking and fresh coffee brewing! But different was the food! I hate to give this place a less than great review.but. It was not good! I had an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich with a side of hash! My wife had a ham and cheese omelet. Both meal portions seemed smaller than I remember. I never before left here hungry. I did! The bacon tasted odd and the hash was not completely cooked! We both left disappointed! Service was great and so are the prices. I really like this place… I hope it was just an off day for Pegs!

Today myself and four friends went to Pegs restaurant. It was virtually empty with one corner table with two or three tables that had been pulled together and 10 people were sitting. The rest of the restaurant was completely empty. The young lady said we would have to sit at two separate tables and we asked her if we could please put two tables together or sit in the other room and she said no we couldn’t that they don’t do that. We left the restaurant and thought let’s just call her again and see if maybe we misunderstood something. So we called the restaurant again and said it’s us five women again and isn’t there anyway you could put us at one table please and we were told no. As small business owners with employees of our own her behavior would have resulted in being fired. She was completely inappropriate and out of line and I would never want someone like her working for me. So we can’t judge the food or the quality of anything except the way we were greeted and we would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I feel badly for the owner who must lose business on a regular basis because of this waitress but more so I feel badly that people like her are so sad and miserable they ruin it for others.

Mediocre breakfast, at first our server was very nice but then she kinda disappeared. The corned beef hash is canned and very mushy, the sausage is the frozen kind it seemed, eggs were cooked well but I wasn’t really impressed overall.

This place is your average breakfast joint. We were recommended to come to this place during our Appalachain Trail thru-hike because«everybody goes to Peg’s» in Lincoln apparently. Nothing to complain about and nothing to rave about. Good breakfast.

CASHONLY(ATM inside)!!! Delicious food, old fashioned! It tastes just like grandma made it. They serve breakfast all day and close mid afternoon. Friendly staff is great with directions. The turkey sandwich with gravy and mashed potatoes comes with cranberry sauce, pickles, and sweet potato pie filling. It was exceptional if you enjoy comfort foods! The corned beef hash was superb and the veggie omelet mouthwatering! Give this locals hotspot a try — you won’t regret it!

Yup. Pretty average for breakfast. Your run of the mill small town greasy spoon. Service was friendly enough but it was cash only with an ATM at the back of the restaurant. Food was mediocre without much to recommend it. The orange juice tasted like Minute Maid and everything else followed that pattern(canned, precooked, etc)

I can really only say it was okay. My BLT was not huge, two slices of bacon per sandwich half, with lettuce and tomato. I opted for the home fries which were more like fried potato slices. The omelet my boyfriend had was okay. It looked and tasted okay. You probably will be fine if you eat here, but you aren’t going to be thrilled or inspired. It’s a little run down in there, and the waitress wasn’t particularly nice or friendly. A smile wouldn’t have killed her. I probably wouldn’t go back with so many other options in the area.
