In 2011, purchased a new oven and stove from Plass. Also bought the«extended warranty»(thru 2016). Low and behold, the extended warranty is now worthless as Plass shut down all of their stores, and there is no parent company to honor the warranties for people. There seems to be some sister corporation based in St. Louis, but thus far, we have have to jump through hoops and it has been a tedious process even trying to get thru to this company between sending written letters and voice-mails in between the last two weeks of the Christmas and New Years holiday. Our stove’s «self-cleaning» feature hasn’t worked in awhile, so it appears we are now stuck. Should we get through to this possible sister company and get resolve, we will be happy to not only update our review but provide information to anybody else this same situation may have happened to. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. We «ordered» our appliances in July for delivery in October. This required a deposit. We were told that the appliances would be in their warehouse waiting for our instruction about the final delivery date. In early, we confirmed the delivery schedule. The DAY of the delivery, I was notified by email that my appliance was«back ordered». Huh? I ordered them in July! It turns out they lie about ordering them and having them in their warehouse. It turns out that, as a result, my kitchen project was severely delayed costing me thousands of dollars. They gave me $ 500 as «compensation»(on a $ 25,000 order) It they aren’t crooks, they are liars. if they aren’t liars, they are bad business people. In any case — STAYAWAYFROMPLASS!!! Wish I would have gone to ABT…
