Called my phone number and said I had won a promotional contest that I had never registered for. Offered 5 big ticket items as prizes and I have to do is go into their location to retrieve it. They did not know my name. Their faulty business strategy won’t fool me. Please don’t let them waste your time as they did mine.

Scam — called my personal cell to tell me that I had «won» one of 5 prizes, all of which were big ticket items, including a kitchen remodel. Yet they were unable to say when and where I would have done this — which I never, ever, did. Halfway through the conversation it became clear they didn’t even know my name, they just had my telephone number. They wanted me to come in for a 90 min seminar and guaranteed some prize though couldn’t list them off again for me. When they found out I wasn’t married and living in a house, they abruptly hung up on me.

Direct buy is a scam. Exorbitant membership fee. The stuff you need they don’t have it available. Total rip off. Stay away.
They over promise and under deliver. Never pay their membership fee. They put a lot of pressure on you for paying their membership fee. Its total waste of money.

As with any purchase or club, potential members need to assess their future purchases to determine the value of joining.
As a member of 3 years, the savings are very substantial, but then again, you have to be in the market to purchase the items they sell.
In todays .com shopping, there are very competitive offers out there, but I have still found Direct Buy offers notable savings.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. But again you have to look at your future purchases to assess cost benefit of joining.

Don’t waste your time driving to Naperville. Their Business Plan is crap. Even if they might be able to save you money. the way they sneak you into joining is BS. Not the way i would want to do business.
