Awesome dance studio! I had so much fun, took a lesson from Nick Blindu this evening and it was everything I expected! I would love to continue taking class but being a college student it is not in the budget right now. Loved the private and I hope that in the future I can continue! Thanks again Nick!

My future wife and I have been dancing with Arthur Murray for about 4−5mo originally in preparation for our wedding this October. We’ve enjoyed it so much that we’ve decided to keep dancing even after our wedding for exercise, entertainment, and to keep getting better on the dance floor.
Our results so far have been fantastic. About 2 mo into our lessons we went to a friend’s wedding and wiped the dance floor with the other guests there! We received so many compliments including a piece of snark from a friend who’s getting married herself soon stating that we aren’t invited to their wedding anymore because we’ll make them look bad. My fiancé, who tends to be somewhat shy, has become very comfortable dancing in such a short period of time. And that’s what they did with us: just a pair of nearly complete newbies to any sort of dancing!
So you know how it works, you generally pay for one on one time with a personal teacher who spends time with you (and your partner if you bring one-​no extra fee) and teaches/​choreographs with you and helps you with whatever you want to focus on. They also provide group classes through the week for various levels of dancing which are free for anyone thats a member. Friday nights they have a «dance party» where you can practice your moves with various partners. In addition, they have various events throughout the year including competitions and parties/​balls at interesting venues. So far it’s been a blast!
Our one-​on-​one teacher has been Jillian who has been fantastic to work with. She has a really good eye for the «big picture» of your dancing and how to break down advice into little tweaks that make a huge improvement. She’s been real patient and easy to work with even for my fiancé and I who are pretty much newcomers to any sort of dancing. Even though we tend to have somewhat different problems on the floor, she has addressed those individually for each of us to make our dancing together much stronger.
We’ve also worked a good amount with Nick. While he may act a bit more intense and some are intimidated by his Russian accent, he’s been a very friendly guy to work with and has an amazing eye for detail and technique. He is great at running drills to help make even the most basic moves pop with sharp detail.
We’ve also worked quite a bit with the rest of the instructors and they’ve all been very friendly and helpful each with their own talents and styles. Their one on one training system promotes exchange classes pretty often, allowing you to get a little different perspective on your dancing and sometimes just getting a new set of eyes on your dancing can fix something you’ve been struggling with very easily. Overall, they’ve made our dancing improve incredibly quickly and it has been a blast meeting and dancing with other students throughout the weeks. Our lessons have become one of the highlights of our week and has been a great activity to do together!
