If I could leave 0 Stars I would! RECENT RENOVATION WOULD MAKE YOU THINK THEY UPDATED THERE BUSINESSES PHONES!!! APPARENTLY NOT!
On numerous occasions I have ordered my sandwich well done, remembering that the last time I have gone there my burger was pink. With that being said what happens tonight? My burger is Pink! Just like last time when I called to notify the manager that my burger was pink, I wasn’t even able to get through! No one ever answers this phone exclamation point I’ve probably called this business five different times Kama because five separate occasions and they messed up my order! They really need to learn how to pick up the phone! –5 thumbs down! –5 Stars!

If you want your order screwed up and you like cold food… this is the place for you. We ordered a chicken Asiago sandwich with no lettuce or tomato. The second sandwich was a double burger with bacon (made regular). Of course, they made them both plain which thankfully I had a large coke to wash that dry cold burger and cold fries down. Won’t be back cause I’m not fond of having my pocket picked and I can get crappy food anywhere.

cashier was friendly. food was fast. 4 for $ 4 is an ok deal compared to value menus at other places. it was recently remodeled nicely — large flat screen TVs, comfortable seating, clean, easy-​to-​read menus.

The new remodel is beautiful inside out.
The only down side is that the homeless are hanging out inside. As of right now I count 6 homeless just chilling and taking over the spot in front of the tv. Also another guy in his wheelchair using the free electrical ports on the back table to charge his electronics and has all of his crap all over the table.
Very very sad. If I were managing this restaurant, all of these people are gone. They are loitering and scaring off potential customers!

For old times sake I took my 16 year old to get her a kids meal! Lol
Only 2 bucks after 4pm. for a burger, fries and drink.

This Wendy’s needs to hire security guards to keep the drug dealers from its parking lot. Wish I could give it no star the inn next door is a haven for all the street criminals that plague this part of modesto. Very scary place especially after dark!!!

Why is it that when you specify ordering a sandwich only, you must assert that no fries are desired?
Doesn’t the word ONLY in conjunction with the word sandwich imply that we DO NOT want fries? Otherwise, wouldn’t we specify something like a number 1 COMBO?
Please treat us as though we’ve thought over our choices. Please treat us as if we’re intelligent adults, capable of choosing what we want to eat.

Yeah, I am giving a fast food place five stars. I come here frequently and every time I get the Asian cashew salad and occasionally a frosty. The salads are incredible for a fast food salad. The Asian salad I get even has edamame on it which I have never seen on a fast food salad ever! The drive through has a long line during lunch but surprisingly goes by very fast! The service is awesome always see the same young Hispanic gentleman at the drive through and he’s great, very friendly!

Food was freshly made served with a smile. Danyale was my server and she saw to it that my drink was kept full I am a regular customer because of the quality value and service offered here.

Yes, I’m giving a fast food place 5 stars because this particular chain and location is the best when it comes to fast food.
I’m always impressed by the quality of produce in the burgers. You don’t usually expect fast food places to have good produce but Wendy’s does. Their buns are always so soft and everything always tastes fresh. This is my go to place for fast food.

Ok this is an update. I like to give credit where it’s due! They tore this place down and starte over. My kids and I stopped in here a few days ago leaving a doctors appt! I must say HUGE improvement. Clean, friendly, food was fresh and hot! They even come to your table and ask you If you need anything! So don’t be scared to stop in here anymore it’s much better!

Probably the least attentive fast food joint still in business. Somehow the exterior renovations signaled a commitment to worse customer service. I have left the drive thru unhappy — and thank God this is the one place in Modesto where this is possible — three times in the three months I’ve been back in town.
This place used to be my reliable fast food on the way back home from the pub. Now they need me to announce that I’m at the drive thru speaker, and I often have to start my order over from the beginning after answering several specific questions about whether I’m getting my number 6 small, medium or large, and what my preferred soft drink is.
I hate to criticize the people who clearly make minimum wage and are probably treated like bottom-​rung employees by their superiors, but if putting in an order for a number 6, no special accommodations, involves me announcing to the drive thru attendant that I’m here, that I’m hungry, when the rest of the line has cleared out, and even then my order requires a second attendant to ask which number I asked for, whether I want my combo to be medium or large, whether I also want a cookie or whatever suggestive sales special tactic they’re trying this week, I don’t know.
I felt like kind of a dick when I chewed out the first attendant who finally answered my «hello“s, but when I finally peeled out and drove less than half a block to Jack-​in-​the-​Box to get service, and I was served within 5 minutes, welcomed to the «after-​hours party,» treated kindly, and told to drive safely after getting a superior spicy chicken sandwich, how could I not compare? The service was speedy and pleasant and personal. Wendy’s would do well to learn from any one of these three, and until they do, I recommend that everyone please go to Jack-​in-​the-​Box instead. For your sake.
This Wendy’s has gone comically downhill. I used to specifically come to this location all the time, just because of its ideal location, but if they don’t step it up something serious in the immediate future, I honestly hope they fail.
I am not the type of person who abandons a fast food drive thru line purely to have something to vent about in a Unilocal review, especially thrice, but the Wendy’s on McHenry needs something of biblical proportions to redeem it. It has honestly just gone to shit.

Took the oldest to her orthodontist appointment, after getting her braces tightened her teeth hurt, so I figure I will get her a frosty to help with some of the pain. Roll up to the drive thru and proceed to sit there for 5 or 6 minutes where we finally order the 2 frosty’s. Pull up to the window and the manager says «WHAT U ORDER???» I laughed and said 2 frostees and when she hands us the frostees they aren’t the size we ordered. She says «DEEZ R ARE SMALLZ AND DEEZ R ARE MEDUUUUUUMS», I’ve got no time to argue so we get the frostees and leave. So the moral of the story is, if broken English, being yelled at, and having your order wrong is your thing, this is the Wendy’s for you.

Went through the drive-​thru tonight and ordered two sandwiches, one order of fries, two drinks, and a frosty. Sandwiches were cold with rubbery cheese and the fries were cold and soggy. The frosty and drinks were the redeeming qualities of the meal, but how hard is that to mess up?

The people who work here are so kind and accommodating! I arrived by bike with a couple of friends (who were also on bikes) after their dining area closed for the night. One of the employees who was in the dining area noticed how bummed we were and popped out saying the most glorious sentence I ever heard while on a bike, «Go ahead and go through the drive-​thru.» I was super shocked when hearing this because I’ve had terrible luck with being on foot or bike at drive-​thrus, it NEVER ever worked out. Though, that night was different. :) So I put in my order and paid with Ricky, who was helping me at the window. He was super cool. Even though they had messed my order by forgetting one item I purchased, the fact that they were willing to bend the rules a bit to accommodate bike travelers really made my day. It may just be me, but I think that is pretty awesome. Again, as someone who has attempted to get, and denied, fast food service at a drive-​thru while on foot or bike in the past, I’m really impressed.

Are all the Wendy’s in Modesto owned by the same people? Both this location and the Briggsmore location can’t get your order right. Fills your cup up with ice with a splash of drink (even when light ice is ordered) and the food always comes out wrong. If you want what you pay for, go somewhere else!

I haven’t had Wendy’s in a long time, tonight I had a craving for it… now I remember why I haven’t gone in awhile. The man at the drive thru was very impatient, I pulled up for my order and I received my drinks, one of them was the wrong one. I sat there waiting for my food for a good 5 – 7 minutes. Bleh. (all I had were 3 hamburgers and 2 fries) They kept repeating my order back to me to make sure they had it all, When I finally got my order it was all crammed into one bag. When I got home, the hamburger buns were stale and the hamburger meat itself was season-​less. Yum! :(and this was all at 9:15pm so the dining area was closed. I don’t know what exactly took them so long. Won’t go back to Wendy’s anymore.

Twice now spoke with very rude and snappy drive-​thru server (was early afternoons on weekday)… will never go there again. Called and complained to manager 2^nd time it happened, she seemed uninterested and I received no apology. Just an explanation that maybe whoever it was must be having a bad day. I think it’s no excuse, if you are that upset maybe you should call in sick and not take it out on your customers.

Wendy’s has been around for decades for a reason. They make good food. I don’t go here a lot, but I know when I do go that I can get a good Frosty and excellent fries. The burgers are square (marketing ploy), but whatever.
Wendy’s is like that girl in high school that you wouldn’t take to prom, but you would invite to every party because she is so cool.
