Four Seasons Buffet

My first time here was horrible. Some food were okay (Grand Buffet, best Chinese in Modesto). My stomach was in pain when I got home and I didn’t eat a whole lot of crap from this places. There brownies will make you wanna spit it back out. Ice cream machine is like, watered ice cream. Not the place to go.

If I can give you guys no stars at all I would. I only came in for a to-​go order and this place is stingy as f*ck! If I wanted to go around picking food in my plate that would cost extra more but it would cost less if I let them do my plate for me. What difference does that make when it’s BUFFET for a reason!!!

They have great prices. This is a local business which should bump up the prices, $ 7 for a meal? Idk about you but they have great food and low prices. Great option for lunch.

I have been a customer since I was young and I’ve always loved the food and staff ! It’s not so packed at lunch time, and there’s plenty of variety.

Overall, there’s a bit to choose from, but not many. Good selection on seafood. Normally, they’re seafood is spicy, but I guess they tend to change here and here. The most they have would be shrimp more than anything else. They do have squid surprisingly. Crab, but it’s really small, still babies. Fried chicken, pizza etc. good for kids, bc we all know kids don’t really eat much food, they just like finger food. So there is fries and pizza. The chow mein is my favorite, but the fried rice has no flavor. There’s sweets, but they aren’t sweet. They have an ice cream machine, but it’s watery. Service is great. It’s always packed on a Sunday. Not sure about other days. I wouldn’t recommend this place, to be completely honest. The food is cold sometimes, but if the kids like it, I guess it deserves three stars, bc my girls are pretty picky. They’re biggest table holds ten, but they can combine that into 20. Which is good and they’re not too pricy.

My girlfriend talked me into coming here for the first time. She used to come here when she was younger and said it was really good. Well she and I can both agree it’s far from good. Mostly everything I had was soggy, cold and basically tasteless. I was not impressed. Granted the lunch buffet was only $ 7 so price is good but considering the quality id rather just go to Panda Express. Also, our server and most of the employees were very rude. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills and then when she finally gave them to us she had obvious attitude towards us. Lastly, while we were leaving, we went to the restroom to wash our hands and I witnessed one of the employees use the restroom and not wash her hands. We will not be returning. Go across the street to hometown cause even they are better.

The service:
The went into this place about 20 mins from closing the very first time my family ate here. He told me that since I wanted food to go he would charge me for a lunch special which made sense to me. My second visit I came in an hour before closing. He tried to charge me full price buffet price for a container to go. After he rang me up instead of allowing me to fill my own box he went straight to the rice and chow mein and started making my plate like I was a little kid. Ridiculous and rude the way it was done.
The food: The food is ok. Nothing to brag about and definitely not the best Chinese food I’ve had. I’ve made better myself but the way I was treated during my last visit I’ll never come back.

DO NOT GO! I used to go here when i was younger so wanted to give it a try. It was old looking and felt clammy inside. The food was cold and tasted gross! Only thing really edible was the fried rice. Thats pretty much all i ate. Customer service was bad! We waited forever to get a refill and when i finally did she only brought back half a glass! On top of that she grabbed my cup after she had her hands in a dirty bucket of water that she was cleaning the tables and chairs with, hands still dripping of water. To end it we had a coupon (really the only reason we went) so we went to pay and on the ticket was one soda and one water. She charged me for 2 sodas and claimed that it was tax. The extra soda was only 1 $ but thats besides the point! We will not be returning!

This place was not good! Go down the street to imperial gardens :) (my favorite)
As soon as I walked in it just felt cold and unwelcoming, the food was just plain no flavor the beef and broccoli was the worst! All broccoli I was lucky to get 1 piece of beef and it was nasty and fatty! I should of just listen to my little voice and went to my favorite place down the street! (imperial gardens)

Great food, good service and decent prices, but need a serious remodeling job in bathrooms

People who have hypertension or a sensitivity to salt and MSG should definitely avoid this place. Everything is loaded with a substantial amount of salt and MSG.

Great food! My only complaint is they really need to remodel the place inside and out. The decorations are also pretty awful. It makes it an uncomfortable place for some people to eat here. I think this is the reason why some people have a bad experience here and overlook the good food. If they were to redecorate and remodel the place they would definitely see a lot more positive feedback and customers.

This place is pathetic. Horrible service. Workers just on their phones while my table was stacked of empty plates. Would not even fill our water cups. Do not go. Let them go out of business and have a better restaurant open up. Might as well go to home town buffet across the street.

We go there a lot and I feel bad to leave a bad review. The place is as I said but if we go there a lot we should bump it up a star at least!

We have been meeting (weekly) here since July 2014. The Food is always Fresh, Hot and Good. I was looking for a place to have our weekly meeting and was referred by two of my members. We meet here weekly. The staff greets us with our «usual» beverages and they are very attentive. I will agree the décor may need some attention. Over all they are filling our needs. FREE MEETING ROOM CONDUCIVE FOR WORKSHOP AND TRAINING, CENTRALLY LOCATED, TREAT MY GUEST AND MYSELF WONDERFUL. BONUS GREAT VALUE AND COMFORTABLE SETTING. Four Seasons Buffet & Restaurant works for me.

I was so hungry one day and decided to go into this buffet. Wrong decision!!! I found a piece of hair inside the shrimps with veggies plate. I was so disgusted by it and almost threw up. I told the manager about the incident and she told me to grab some more shrimps with veggies. I was like WTF? I immediately stopped eating. BTW I didn’t get any discount. I will stop coming to this place due to its nasty food and horrible customer service!

I absolutely love this place. I’m not a buffet person but once in a while i fell like stuffing it. the rice, chowmein and fried shrimp are my all time favorite here!! flavor is very good.

I thought the customer service was excellent. Mushroom chicken was to die for. Like if I were gonna die an offered one last meal that just maybe it. The pizza was okay. It wasn’t great but Asians aren’t really known for pizza anyway. The desserts were great. The sushi was huuuge. I never seen anything like it. The ice cream was just regular ice cream out of a machine style ice cream. They have a great view of bottoms up. And the fruit is sooo fresh and delicious. I loved the chocolate fountain too. I loved there soups too yuuum

I agree with Jovi C. The first time I ate here was the last. Food was on the cool side and one of the chicken dishes was undercooked, yuck. Their noodles were not totally cooked, anyway tasted like that to me. There wasn’t very much to choose from and very little in the pans.
If there would have been 10 people in the place there wouldn’t have been enough food to feed them all.
It’s been some time since I was there so maybe they have improved but, I’m not willing to find out.
