This is a nice place! The food is made with fresh ingredients, the menu is super varied, with a lot of Japanese and thai dishes, quick service, nice environment. Highly recommended if you’re on Lincoln Road and want to have a relaxed dinner.

As another summed this up… «Meh». Overpriced. Average service. Average to below average sushi. Soup was terrible. Will say the Pad Thai was good but server never asked how meal was(would have asked for spice for the noodles). Had to hunt her down to take our money to pay.

Very friendly and fast service(Sunday afternoon at least)… The food was flavorful, abundant and fresh. The outdoor seating is comfortable and fun, watching the variety of people walking through Lincoln Rd. I’ll try the sushi next time! Definitely coming back!

I’ve been here a few times(not always checking in) and the food is consistently good. This time… sigh… my out-of-town friends asked me to write this review because they were so upset. As we all know, in South Beach they automatically add 18 percent to your total. At the end of our meal, the waiter stood nearby watching as my guest signed the credit card charged bill. After it was signed, he swooped in, looked at it and said, «I have to share this tip with the bus boy and the cook.» What a bitter aftertaste to a good meal. My guests were pissed!

I ordered chicken teriyaki, worse mistake ever! It was really dry and had no flavor whatsoever… I guess the Mexican cook never had teriyaki in his life! My friends food was okay… The server was slow to bring drinks out and really unengaged overall! Think twice before sitting down at their tables!

Good food, good service, good location and open late. Only downside is the tip is added automatically. But other than that, pretty good =)

Great location, good food, normal prices. We tried Tom Kar soup that was very tasty, however the portions are pretty small. I dislike the fact that they add 17% tip automatically. Not that I mind for a good service but somehow it is weird and rude.

Sushi Siam continues to serve up solid food as far as I’m concerned. During my last visit, I ate outside with my mom and some of the things we ordered included the spicy tuna salad, California eel roll and Thai donuts for dessert. The food was really spot on, nothing over the top, but good-quality, fresh food. The only downside is that they add 18% tip automatically to your bill, which I am happy to give if I receive good service, but sometimes this can be spotty.

Frankly, if you want Thai go to Kong Riverhouse. if you want sushi, go anywhere(Even Iron Sushi). There is nothing special about this place. Everything is average or mediocre. form the service to the food. The price? Above average. While some items are decently priced, others are outrageous… a hand-roll is about $ 6.50. Are you kidding me? There are way too many better options around. Sakura, Kong Riverhouse…

Sehr leckeres Sushi.

I LOVE sushi, so I eat it pretty often. But this place was EH. Nothing spectacular to rave about. I ordered spring rolls, one of the Sashimi appetizer platters and some Thai Donuts for dessert, and the best thing about the meal was the donuts. The sushi was ok. It came on a bed of ice(which made it tough to eat bc every time I grabbed the sushi, I was grabbing some ice along with it.) The springs rolls were good. But the Thai Donuts were amazing. Great dessert! All that, plus a calamari appetizer and fried rice, came out to $ 60. Major rip off. I know sushi can be expensive but yikes! With so many better options for Asian dining, I more than likely wouldn’t come back here again.

This place is great for anybody who likes to try different varieties of sushi rolls. I went there with my colleagues for a dinner late one night. The place is right on the Lincoln Road and has very lively ambiance to it. They have lot of outdoor seating. We ordered the Salmon Sashimi, Avocado Salad and Fried Calamari for appetizers. The sashimi and avocado are a must try. Calamari was good but not amazing. The appetizers were gone in less than 5 minutes. Either we were starving or the food was great. For mains we ordered rainbow rolls, spider rolls, dragon rolls, California rolls, ginger duck curry and tom yum soup and fried noodles. All the rolls were great. But steer clear from their Thai food. Not only is not original but it has totally off flavor. The ginger duck curry was full with peppers and onions but there are a lot of ducks too. However, taste was so sweet & sour which iI did not expected from ginger curry. Tom Yum soup was again pretty bad. Although they proclaim to be a Japanese and Thai Restaurant, I would recommend going only with their Japanese fare.

Good service, this is a chain, so there is nothing remarkable in comparison to the other locations. Lunch is affordable, but the food’s nothing out of this world, nothing original or unseen from the standard Thai/Japanese restaurant fare. Service is good and the inside is nice and cool on a hot summer day. At least you can trust their sushi to be fresh, unlike other Lincoln tourist traps, so if you’re on Lincoln and craving sushi, this is a good spot to hit.

I’ve been here so many times! One of the rare places where the sushi and the Thai are both good. I like the Thai lunch specials especially. The sushi is very fresh and they have a nice variety. I came here once with my brother when he had expense account money to burn and we ate our way through the menu. I am especially impressed that they have mackerel on the menu — one of my favorite types of sashimi! Another hit is the mee kreb — crispy Thai noodles. The service is hit or miss. I have had excellent service here, but also have had indifferent service. And of course, the location is great!

So we came here since we were in the mood for some sushi, and were staying right by Lincoln Road. I started off with a lychee mojito which was really well made. I enjoyed the hell out of that drink. One of my coworkers was in town from Kentucky though, and it was Derby Day. She tried a Mint Julep… and that was an epic fail. We split some edamame which was pretty standard– very enjoyable. I ordered the vegetarian sushi combo which came with a veggie roll, some veggie sashimi, and the veggie cone thing… AND a salad. It was SOMUCHFOOD! The whole plate was $ 19(way less than the value of the items sitting on my plate) but i didn’t expect it to be so filling. My coworkers said the same thing. 1 ordered 2 rolls and was struggling to finish them. 1 ordered 1 roll and barely could finish that– but she’s tiny :-). Generally, I would advise you to go with 1 roll, and a few pieces of sashimi. Everything was fresh and delicious. Given the location of this place, on Lincoln Road, and the issues I’ve had with service at other spots on Lincoln Road, the staff was on their A-game. No issues! They were happy to have us, and very accomodating.

Food is great, people watching benefits, and best service ever received on Lincoln road. From 7:00pm to 9:00pm on a summer Wednesday sunsetnoon, I only had the Siam roll, 2 Tiger beers and«Cawed»(like a seagull) some food from friends plates. Because the friends and family I was with, the entire time was splendid. The service was absolutely perfect, every time I looked at the waitress she would immediately walk over. *(For you convenience a 17% tip is already included on your tab). …Yes, for your convenience. If you have kids, it’s good since they can run on some artificial grass mini park on a stage of some sort… …so, yeah!

Since this place is on Lincoln Rd my expectations weren’t set very high. I was nervous that it might be awful but it was a pretty decent meal and reasonably priced. My husband had the chicken fried rice. The portion was pretty big and chock full of chicken, tomatoes, and other veggies. The bite I had was good– not too bland or dry. He also started with the miso soup. I had the beauty and the beast roll– half tuna avocado and half eel. Very good! Fresh and each piece had a good amount of tuna/eel in it. One roll was very filling! The service was a little slow but friendly. I would consider going back for some sushi after a day of lounging on the beach!

Like a lot of places on Lincoln Road, the service at Sushi Siam is BAD.(For the love of all things beautiful, can I PLEASE get a refill on my water?! And no, I don’t want to continue sitting here waiting for my check while you look past me like I’m invisible for ½ hour.) What do they care? Tip is included automatically and most people don’t pay attention and end up double-tipping. Still, the food is good, they’re vegan friendly, and the menu is vast so I can go here with my omnivore friends. I always get the seaweed salad(VERY good), the edamame, and the veggie roll. They even make my veggie roll with brown rice for me, which is nice, and they bring me ponzu sauce, which is one of my favorite things in the whole. wide. world. Yeah, service is crappy in South Beach, but this is where I live, I guess I’m used to it; so I do, in fact, recommend this place. Just don’t double-tip. Pay attention to your check! Oh and the people watching if you sit outside? Priceless.

I love this restaurant. I have been coming here for years, since I was a tourist. Everything I have tried here is delicious. The sushi is consistently fresh and tasty, and beautifully presented. The service is usually very good as well. I have tried many of the sushi platters, rolls, and soups as well as the Thai food. I can’t wait to go back.

Definitely in the middle of a tourist area. This is in the middle of a strip of some shopping and tons of restaurants. There is a small green clearing in the middle that everyone seems to conjugate around and it’s right in front of Sushi Siam so it makes for VERY awesome people watching. The shrimp steamed dumplings were the STAR of the evening! They were delicious and a wonderful start to the meal. We also had the edamame but they were very undercooked and just not enjoyable. For my main dish I had the Dragon Roll. It was a great presentation and tasted very fresh but to tell you the truth, I would have been more happy with 2 more orders of the dumplings =) Overall, an A-OK experience but nothing amazing.
