Fuji Teriyaki Sushi Grill

The food is decent but they have false advertisement, they say the special teriyaki is 5.69 but they charge more than that, and say it’s because it hasn’t been updated. In my opinion that is poor management.

This a great hole in the wall for Miami Beachers. Great fresh food and quick service. Items under $ 7!!!

I frequent this place as its near my home. It’s quick — healthy and inexpensive… but most importantly it’s always clean and the owner and employees are always welcoming and kind. I don’t normally write a review, but this place deserves it. A definite little hidden gem

Food was good (descent vegan options). What sold us was the service: The owner was very friendly and accommodating. She came out to bring us menus, brought us our food, and checked up on us. As a server, I was very impressed. Prices were great. I would recommend this restaurant!

Wanted a quick and affordable dinner and was lucky enough to come here. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo with veggies only. My sister had a California roll and my parents had a chicken teriyaki Meal. The food portions are large! You get a lot of shrimp in the combo meal. The prices are reasonable. You get to watch the chef cook right in front of you.
The place is small and not very luxurious. If you want outdoor seating and a more fancier place than you need to go to Lincoln street or espanol way. But for yummy and affordable food, this is the right place.
Sushi was delicious as well! Although not many sushi options! But they did have salmon and tilapia teriyaki which I would try next time!

We were looking for a late afternoon snack and stumbled across Fuji. (We’d been seated and then ignored at two restaurants on Lincoln.) 4 pieces each of California and spicy tuna roll, two spring rolls, and 2 bottles of Kirin Ichiban set us back a whopping $ 15. Beer is half-​price from 4 – 7.
This isn’t any kind of glorious sushi bar, but for solid quality at a price that would be comfortable at home in Indiana, it’s a really solid choice. This place doesn’t pretend to be anything it isn’t and does what it aspires to do flawlessly.

This is one of the best sushi I have tried so far in Miami for take outs. Their rainbow roll is delicious i totally recommend it, it’s amazing. Their service is not that fast but i don’t mind to wait for the perfect sushi roll, after all that’s what is concerning me, and the price is completely normal not the overpriced places around giving only fast service… totally recommended

I order NiGIRI, in Japanese way. They Provide tiny size for $ 7.
You could asking me what you want for $ 7? if that is the place for $ 7, I would go to Publix or Epic for better experience,
Owner very rush and 00% patient for welcome and service. hope he is not Japanese, That will be so shame of him.
This place, is not designed for Japanese service counter, failure service, failure function. (dirty floor, metal cheap chair, awkward table, of course the stink toilet) Totally not right place for anyone.

My personal experience was great. I ordered the food, they cooked it quickly and right in front of me, they had amazing customer service and most of all the food tasted awesome!!!

My all time favorite, shrimp tempura, is what I always order here. I love seafoods and the shrimp tempura really hits my taste buds. The rice and shrimp combo is tasty too. I often get takeouts especially if I am in a rush or that the place is packed with no seating around. I recommend this place as a good place to try some japanese dishes. The price is affordable too. Really worth it.

Bottom line if you are in a hurry, Hiro Sushi Express is worth the block walk.
Shrimp tempura roll: pretty good. I wouldn’t say double shrimp to the point where I get carried away but it did have good flavor. If only there was avocado in it!
Spicy tuna roll: a mess. They put this mayo junk on it that is gross and just upsets the whole roll. If I wanted junk I would walk to McDonald’s.
The service here is lackluster. There are better options within a short walk with more choices.
In this places favor I will say they have a grill and someone working hard on it. Maybe if you’re wanting a grill item it might be the place to be. Otherwise keep hoofing it.

This is a really in an out place to eat for nothing $$$

Stuffed my gullet with chicken teriyaki and a diet coke for under $ 8. Chicken is decent, rice and teriyaki sauce hit the spot. Good value for cheap and healthier alternative to most fast food. Clean restaurant, owner is pleasant.

This place knows how to treat its local regulars, because my sushi rolls are made to my exact liking before I even have time to place my order!!! Great job guys and THANKS!!!

Quick sushi and grill, clean, fast service and okay selection prices were reasonable for Miami sushi. I would go back for a fast meal.

The best way to describe this place is «you get what you pay for.» The prices are cheap and the food is mediocre. There’s nothing wrong with that. I spent a whole day on the beach and was tired and hungry and this place hit the spot. The chicken teriyaki was $ 5.39, tasted decent, and filled my stomach. I’d have no qualms about going back there if I found myself in a similar state, but no way am I going out of my way to return.

Samples, service, speed, smell and smiles…
I would like to label this little quickie «The place of the 5 S’s»
Samples– a girl was waiting outside the restaurant to hand me a sample of their Teriyaki chicken which I took, it was delicious, so I had my lunch happen there. TIP: If you want to get your name out fast as a business, offer samples to the public!
Smell– My mouth was watering with all the Teriyaki smell once I came into the shop and I instantly wanted to order everything. TIP: A clean, aromatic place breeds spending!
Smiles– The sample girl as well as the manager were ready to lead me to the register with smiles to ensure my order and happiness. TIP: People love guidance.
Service– The manager was kind enough to suggest I get the special price of what I ordered, great care for the customer.
Speed– The veggies and meat were all cooked while I sat and it was lightening fast when I got my order. It was like being in MCDonalds with all the assembly staff, but it was freshly made.
Recommend you stop by here for a firs time try or if you have a short lunch break.

We were staying down the road and were walking around looking for a place to eat. Checked Unilocal real quick to make sure no bad reviews and they passed so we went inside. They had a great special but we went with their chicken and shrimp teriyaki since the cashier recommended that over just their special. Good choice! My girl and I split it and it filled us up pretty good!
Everything was cooked right there fresh which is great since it wasn’t scooped up from under a heat lamp. Since it was to go our takeout box was stuffed pretty full so you get your money’s worth for sure. These guys also have decent seating in their dinning area, and as Selena mentioned, it was very clean inside.
We were only in South Beach for 1 night but if your looking for a cheap, tasty spot to eat this will do perfectly.

Updating because they have definitely gotten the kinks worked out. To-​go containers now come with a small side of teriyaki sauce. Also, I have now sampled the rice and it is AMAZING!!! I think they use sushi rice for the regular meals and I really like the texture!
Also, I told my co-​workers about it and the 3 of us hit it up at least twice per week!
