I am disappointed in this place after their reopening. I always get the Sabih sandwich– it used to be eggplant, hummus and hardboiled egg on a pita, awesomely delicious, perfect hangover cure and $ 4. They recently revamped, and while the place looks great, they raised the price on this sandwich to SEVENBUCKS and now it has greasy french fries in it as filler. Coffee is good which is a plus, but it with the new(WAY) higher prices it is not really worth braving the creeps that hang out on 9th Ave to go here.

We stumbled upon this place on a lazy Sunday afternoon in Hell’s Kitchen. We decided to walk no further and stopped here. The menu is goes from fresh fuit smoothies to Shawarma Platters. I decided to try the Shawarma Platter. The picture looked awesome, and yet pictures can be very deceiving… The plate in which the food was served on was huge. The portions were good, but it lacked flavor. The yellow rice was flavorless and not worth even putting sauce on it. I tried and I still failed to eat it. The chicken was good, but it had a lot of pieces of skin on it mixed in with the meat. The guy running the place was really helpful. He explained to us about the smoothies and what tastes good. If you do come here just get something off the breakfast menu. That would be your safest bet.
