Time to take a star off… at least until things go back to the awesome they were. Last time I ordered through a delivery site, they offered the full menu. This time, maybe 2⁄3 or the options were available(perhaps they updated to eliminate 86’d options…) Finally tried their pasta. They gave me a type other than the one I selected(perhaps it was 86’d), but I never received a call to inform me, and ask what other type I’d like. Pasta cook was fine… but the vodka sauce was just fine. Nothing to rave about. Asked for seeded italian… received non-seeded italian(insert possible 86’d theme here… along with theme of never getting called to be informed…)…and the bread I received was stale on the outside(not the awesome balanced type I’m used to getting here). At least the chips were as expected… A simply call to inform of the switches woulda gone a long way. Will take some time off and order again… we shall see!

Heart burn city! Sorry, I know this has been around for many years, but they either need to do better or just close. It usually has«grade pending» or a «C» rating. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Previously I was in a grouchy mood and left a less than stellar review after I had a long wait due to their credit card machine down but I have been back several times since and am hooked once again. There’s just no reason to go anywhere else for a chicken parmasean hero. Due to high volume the food is always hot and fresh, the chicken cutlet sandwich has great tasting fresh mozzarella and is huge. usually i eat half at lunch and half later. Its not too expensive either at 9.75. A couple blocks away at sergimo which is another great place, the same sandwich is around 12 bucks and almost as good but not quite. Yes the name hero boy might not appeal to you hipster doofuses I see popping up on 9th ave but take your skinny jeans and high waters inside the establishment and try it. It blows away johnny panini where you guys like to cram yourselves into.

Because they had no sundried tomatoes when I arrived to pick up my Eat24 order, they let me get a large for the price of a small, which was a nice touch. The large is a very substantial portion, especially with the chips they toss into the overstuffed takeout container. Everything was quite satisfying, but some might be a bit upset about the lack of a call about said insufficient inventory and the fact that they wait ’til you arrive to assemble the sandwich(I appreciated it because it meant less soggy bread, but when you’re this close to both Penn &PA, surely customers must often be rushed). eat24 Remains open after grosseria closed 2012 Mile High Italian Special Hero(Small) 110.00 Choice of Bread: Seeded Italian Choice of Dressing: Virgin Olive Oil Add Extra: Sun-Dried Tomatos($ 1.50 Extra)

Here is a good place for a quick meal at good price when heading to the theater for shows. We had the– The Mile High Special hero– $ 11 large and $.7.75 small– good hero and a good mix of meat. Rate 4⁄5 Pasta– Penne Bolognese– $ 8.50; sauce is watery and taste is weak. Pasta is over cooked. Rate 2⁄5. Summary Food– 3⁄5 Price– 4⁄5; good value for price Service– 2⁄5; serve your self style; order food and go find a table. Both my order was not correctly done. We asked for no cheese and we got cheese on both**. Décor– 3⁄5; renovation has improved this place by a lot. Restroom– 3⁄5; downstairs **My order took much long than normal because they got both the orders wrong because the staff can’t stop talking and arguing with each other.

Great food. Everything is fresh and homemade. You can tell the people here know what they are doing They have the staples like chicken, meatball, and eggplant parm and daily specials. Their tomato sauce is great because it’s not sweet like most other places. Everything I have had here is very good to excellent and prices are very fair. The have a nice, large dining room that’s very comfortable to sit and have a meal. I’m a big fan
