Taste of Pho

I moved to Lynnwood recently and was so happy to find this gem nearby! Their rare steak phở has wonderful flavor and the sprouts and veggies are always fresh. Their fresh spring rolls are ok, not my favorite but the egg rolls and phở are delicious!

Fast, Fabulous Phở! The tofu sandwich and free tea are my fav. Satisfying lunch under $ 5!

This place needs to step it up. This soup doesn’t have very much flavor in the have a much smaller quantity in each serving than they do in other places. The large here at the size of a small at other places. The soup broth is not very flavorful.
In my to go order I hide very little sauces, no jalapeños, no wine to add to the soup. The service is friendly and the prices are great but I won’t return here when I’m in the mood for phở.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years and I love this place but I wish they would still treat me like a new customer, now I come in and grab all my own utensils… and also throws me off that they’re always on their laptop with kids running around in the right corner … also they park they’re gold corolla right in the front? Customers should get that, but over all the food is great!

Whenever I am in the area, I like to stop by this place because the food is delicious and prices are unbeatable. Bahn mi ranges from $ 3.25-$ 4.00, fresh spring rolls are around $ 3 for two, and all of their full size entrees are a great deal as well! Always very clean inside and polite wait staff!

They are getting stingier with their food each time i go in. Service is slower these days and the owner guy is not nice but i like their phở.

The customer service was great. I loved the fresh very hot broth of the Phở. The Spring was were fresh and so good.
The only thing I would change is adding more Shrimp to the Large phở seeing took out the squid. The pricing is pretty reasonable. We will be back soon.

I’m not really like the noodles soup here, but love the vermicelli noodles with bbq pork and egg roll. And I also like the spring roll with bbq pork, not many restaurant have that in the menu. The service is poor but overall its good.

Service was not the best. I have tasted better phở. The broth is not as rich as what I have had, but still good. I just had the raw beef phở — seemed to be not much beef. The spring roll was very good. Next time I will try one of the plate entrees.

The food was amazing. The phở tai was so yummy and the fried won tons were the best. I will definitely be going back.

Yum Chicken Bánh mì, and the prices are very reasonable.

I I order D1 wish have pork blood in it I love pork blood I was sad and disappointed when my do not have pork blood in my bowl the foods is OK customer service is so so I came here is because it’s right next to my hotel and I saw to have good rating on Unilocal I don’t want to have anything out about it you can come and try it out and let me know how you think

Sooo the vegetarian phở had no veggies and a teeny portion of noodles and tofu in the large phở take out order my husband just brought home. The tofu and noodles were less than a cup. The broth is definitely not vegetarian, both broths were the same greasy broth and they didn’t even bother to fake it by writing a «V» on the container. $ 18 later my husband ended up adding my order to his «large» order and the bowl was still not full. I made a pb and j and vowed to never go back.

An update: This is my go to spot while my grandson plays At the Games Workshop store next door! They have great customer service and are very accommodating with to-​go orders! My grandson loves phở and they serve it up fresh, hot and offer a variety of meats to mix in with the veggies!
On my last visit, I enjoyed the chicken and vegetable stir-​fry and the dish was yummy! I have tried their spring rolls and was not disappointed! I am a fan!

I eat a lot of vietnamese food and the phở broth here was a little bland for me compared to other phở I have had before. So you can say it has a healthier taste to it? Affordable prices though.

Love the prawn and papaya salad and they serve a great bowl of Phở. Pitched the vermicelli bowl as Vietnamese Spaghetti and the kids loved it!

The food here is still good and consistent to what it was when I first visited. I’ve been here several times since and while I know I will get a consistent product here, their service has gone downhill.
Almost always there are employees on their laptops or hanging out on tables. Sometimes you will be seated, handed menus, and asked for your order without the person so much as looking in your general direction. It’s just a very odd feeling.
The last time I came here, I found a bug in my phở. I’m sure this happens from time to time in any kitchen, but it wigged me out enough that I couldn’t finish it. And I still haven’t been able to bring myself back here since.

Another Unilocal recommendation success! A longer-​than-​expected day of shopping left us in Lynnwood at dinnertime, which seemed like a bleak situation. But Taste of Phở saved the day with delicious, inexpensive food that was good enough to make the trip back for! Don’t be fooled by the blah strip-​mall exterior, it’s much better than it seems from outside.
We stopped in on a Saturday at dinnertime, and the restaurant was still pretty quiet — we were able to walk in and sit down with no waiting. We started with the fresh grilled pork rolls ($ 3.50), which were freshly made, tender, and tasty. I ordered the beef brisket phở, which was a generous portion with all the usual sides, lots of noodles, and a savory, flavorful broth. At $ 7, the phở was a buck or two more than I’m used to, but still quite affordable for dinner, and worth the price. I also got a mango «smoothie» which turned out to be more like a milkshake, made with ice cream. It was served in a tall milkshake glass and was very creamy and rich — a good dessert to share.
Service was friendly and our food came out fast. If this place was in my ‘hood, I’d be there all the time! As it is, I’m looking forward to going back the next time we’re in Lynnwood (or the next time I’m craving those grilled pork rolls).

Wanted to eat somewhere new and found this place. Arrived early (10:30am, midweek) and was the only customer there the entire visit. Initial service was good and my water was refilled as frequently as needed. The food I ordered tasted fresh and was delicious. I’d definitely take friends/​family there.
However, the reason behind the 3 stars was, when I finished my meal I must have easily waited 10 – 15 minutes after finishing and observed the server talk on her cell phone at least twice. While I ate my food, I faced 3 employees that sat a few tables away also facing me which was a bit awkward. One on a laptop, one eating, and my server on her cell phone… all violations of business etiquette. This shouldn’t be done in front of customers. Then 4 other individuals that appeared to be family members arrived which added to the distraction.
I would most definitely eat there again but the employees need to realize how important it is to pay attention to the guests from beginning to end… consistently! And find somewhere else to eat and take a break… it gives the wrong impression when all the employees are sitting in the dining area and doing other things. Am I being critical? Perhaps. But I’ve worked in the food/​restaurant industry and understand the traditional do’s and dont’s. Not to mention that I’ve frequented MANY different restaurants all over.

Came back to this location probably a few times from the last review. Food is excellent as usual and the price is comparable (if not cheaper) to places back in Vancouver. We ordered a few bowls of Phở and a vermicelli bowl. Have to tell you, the vermicelli bowl was a decent size and came with TWO spring rolls. Usually places only give one. Wifi available but not really advertised — just ask for the password.
BTW, you have to visit the donut place beside this restaurant!
