My dining companion and I went here for lunch over the weekend, chiefly because this business bills itself as a «phở» establishment(see the business’s name) and I was in the mood for phở. Talk about sticker shock. Be it known, the food was very good — you will not be disappointed with your meal. The price, however, was just way over the top for this fare.

I’m new to the area and I’ve been trying to find a decent vietnamese/phở place. I tried their vermicelli bowl and it was tasty. we also tried their roasted duck with egg noodles, it was pretty good. The service is a bit slow, but it has a laid back atmosphere. Will come back again to try more.

I love this place. The owner is the sweetest man and has only given me the best service every time I come in. I honestly look forward to seeing him because he’s so freaking nice. Their peanut sauce is so thick and flavorful compared to other places that just water theirs down. It’s a very clean and welcoming establishment.

«Bamboo» Phở is certainly my favorite Phở place to specifically eat Phở soup in the Lynnwood/MLT/Edmonds area. I really enjoy and appreciate the effort they put into their establishment with the clean and modern décor and furnishings — it feels like a clean restaurant unlike some other sketchy hole-in-the-walls. I love the artificial bamboo trees that surround some of the tables — they’re pretty! The serving staff are very polite and provide good customer service. I regularly have their beef/tripe/tendon Phở soup and it’s completely delicious and fresh. I like that Bamboo offers the fresh/raw chili paste at their tables instead of the dry chili flakes in oil like some other places because it’s way tastier for dipping and adding to soup. They also offer a variety of other Vietnamese specialties which I have yet to try, but they look delicious. They are reasonably priced for the quality of food and atmosphere. I highly recommend eating here!

Even good on a Monday afternoon, this place is located next to the Korean spa, the Olympus spa, and is also close to the convention center. Very friendly and quick, great for takeout. Lots of vegetarian options, awesome staff. You actually are made to feel welcome here!

The most over priced Phở place I have ever tried in Seattle and surrounding area period. My family and I ordered 4 regular Phos and 4 pork skewers, the total bill came to $ 60. Seriously! I checked with the waiter to find out the price of each pork skewer, it was $ 3.79. Each for $ 3.79 for 4 slices of marinaded pork! The Phở tasted just average but also over priced. I will not return to this place and definitely not recommend it to anyone. If you want Phở in this neighborhood, try Phở 44.

I was torn between 3 or 4 stars, I would love to give it more rating but things have changed The broth that once was flavorful now falls flat. Even when you add all the sauces it still lacks flavor. The meat is a little stale now too. And this past time the fish balls in the seafood phở tasted like bad spilled fish. We didn’t bother to tell them since this is something they could’ve caught on as they were putting them in the soup. My favorite this ever from this place were the fried spring rolls which now taste stale as well. Also, the prices have gone dramatically up. The price was never an issue before, but when you are giving me less than average food I expect a cheaper price. All in all, I would maybe come by since I have friends that still frequent. But there are other options around the area that provide the same average food for less.

The best phở in Lynwood we come here now every Saturday night and it’s better every time the service is excellent, they make you feel spoiled. Very professional and proper. The food is amazing true phở that has been cooking all day. Portions are perfect I’m a bigger guy so I order the large and I leave full !!! Also if you are hung over still messed up or sick this is the magic cure for everything !!! I love this phở shop: D

I moved to the area a couple years ago and needed to find a phở restaurant I can frequent because I eat phở minimum once a week. After trying as many as I could in the Lynnwood area I came to the conclusion that Bamboo was the best. They are by far the most expensive(regular phở and 2 spring rolls will average about 17.00 + tip) but I would rather pay extra than settle on sub par phở. So I made Bamboo my new place and I’ve been going the past 2 years. Over that time I’ve noticed a decline in cleanliness and sanitation. I started noticing the glasses of water were not cleaned properly and had scum spots. Drinking their water would leave an after taste of dirty water/sea foody taste, for lack of a better word. The phở was really good so I would just ask for another water and keep it moving. Then I started noticing that same after taste in the phở and I’ve even found a fruit fly(once). They were very polite and would remake the phở or give me a new water. So I would turn a blind eye to the negatives because they would correct the problem. My last visit, unfortunately, was today. I received a glass of water that had scum spots and lipstick marks on the glass. I was used to the dirty glasses so I requested a new one and they did so. No big deal. What took it over the top was what I found in my soup today. A short curly hair I assumed was a pubic hair. I immediately stopped eating, felt sick, and notified the waiter. He smiled and said, «Oh you found a hair? Want me to remake?» I said no and said I was done with the meal. He did not charge me and I left never to return. This is a bummer because it was good phở, the people were nice, considered me a regular and new my order by heart. But after what I experienced today, I will never eat there again because I can’t trust the cleanliness and sanitation of their establishment which hurts my heart because now I must find a new phở restaurant to go to.

Unacceptable wait time, I ordered a BBQ pork sandwich with extra meat, when I finally got my order, the order was wrong, I assume they just gave me a standard size sandwich. pathetic portion size of meat, definitely not extra meat. 40 minutes to finally start eating, the sandwich was dry and not flavorful and way more expensive than normal, sub par to any that I have ever eaten. I will never be back. Very disappointing

The place looks very clean and they had a little bit of everything. They even had a little deli place that makes the best shredded chicken Vietnamese sandwich omg. I will come here again and try everything on their menu

I was in Edmonds and the weather was a little breezy and we passed by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I had the beef brisket phở and it was really good. The service and waiters are really attentive and the plus thing is you can watch football while eating your phở. Lol. Great experience

We planned to shop at Alderwood mall before we returned to Vancouver and found Bamboo Tree Phở & Sandwiches. We drove in the strip mall with a lot of parking available and good for us to check it out. We had few different things to share but all of it were so disappointed. Vietnamese sub — The sub so dry and hard. It severed with cold and fatty Vietnamese meat. Beef phở — It’s very greasy and MSG BBQ pork egg noodles — BBQ pork tasted old and dry. BBH — The worst BBH I had! Poor ingredients and MSG broth base. I should check out Unilocal to find better place next time.

We haven’t been here for awhile. It was nice to see that the place has been remodeled with nice décor like bamboos in between tables to give you semi-privacy yet not feeling the entire place is chopped up/closed off. The nice green paint & pictures on the wall also give it a fresh look & feel. When we sat down and went thru the menu we were shocked that the price of all the usuals have gone up about double. For example, large Phở is now $ 11.25 when it was around $ 6-$ 7 before and this is pretty standard all over. Really?! Spring Rolls are normally around $ 3 and now it’s about $ 6 now. The iced coffee is now around $ 4.50 and it is pre-made(not those drip ones) filled with a ton more ice than actual coffee. We asked the waiter about the phở bowl size difference he had this deer in the headlight look. We asked because if the price changed maybe the portion size have changed, too. He paused for a bit and described it showing a large like a usual small at other places. So we decided to order the large(if it is that small as he described). When the phở came out the bowl was way bigger than what he was describing. I guess that was good because it was $ 11.25; however, the broth is totally not well made. Good broth is usually flavorful by simmering the broth with ingredients for hours even over night. The broth we got tasted bland like it was from a can or a bag. It was very disappointing. The meats like meat balls were cut into quarters to look like you have more pieces when it is probably the same amount for a medium size. There were a ton of noodles tho. Way more than there’s meat. I didn’t even finish the food. It was so bland and meat to noodle ratio is so off that the whole thing wasn’t that satisfying. By the time we paid for 2 phở bowls and an ices coffee it was $ 32. That’s a lot. I understand they need to recoup their money for the remodel, but this new price is ridiculous. I would rather walk a little farther and go to other restaurants nearby even when this is right across the convention center.

If it were an option, I would not rate this restaurant any stars because their service was so awful. I ordered one Vietnamese pork sandwich and it took an entire hour to get my order out. I saw that people who sat down and ordered after me received their food before I did. In fact, I had to re-order the sandwich because they did not remember that I ordered. When I received my sandwich, it was cold and not put together well. After I finished my sandwich, I wanted to order a taro bubble tea, but they said they had no boba ready and would have to prepare it for 10 minutes. It was appalling how they would be so unprepared during the dinner rush. I would not recommend dining at this restaurant.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite to eat after reading about this place on Unilocal. After looking at the menu, I realized that their prices have gone up in comparison to the prices on the menu photos posted here– I suppose this makes sense considering the convention center is right next door. I ended up getting the tofu bahn mi and some avocado bubble tea. The bahn mi was good, I think the tofu was marinated in lemongrass and it had a nice mild flavor. The«bubble tea» was good but it was more like a smoothie, with whipped cream on top and NO tapioca jellies inside. I asked the server about it and he explained it was a smoothie. If so, I don’t know why it was listed under the bubble tea section. Buyer beware! In any case, he was really friendly about taking it off the bill, and the service was quick and efficient. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but if I was attending an event at the conference center and needed a quick lunch, I’d definitely come by again.

Great little place, we eat here frequently. The food is good, the price is good. The phở is tasty and warm with plenty of sides. And the bahn mi is fantastic. Only wish they would change their take away packaging for their soup. They use a polystyrene which melts with the heat of their soup. Have had it break and spill all over the bag before.

Customer service is good~ and sometimes this old man(i suspect the owner?) is really polite and nice. The foods I love from here is the chicken sandwich, fried rice(F4 i think) and some of those meals with chicken or pork chops, egg and stuff. I enjoy coming here. But since I don’t know their hours I’ve come to this place while it’s closed on days I didn’t expect(like on Tuesday or some other day, I don’t really remember). But overall, it’s a really relaxing and comfortable restaurant, I love it~
