Best lunch bento I have had. The chicken was perfectly tender, the portions were just right for one person, and the tempura and roll was amazing! I’ll come here again! Not to mention that the service is very kind and friendly.

There’s a lot to like about this place, starting with the food prices. Overall, they’re more like a teriyaki place that also serves sushi than they are a real sushi place. They seem to draw a decent-enough crowd, but I think I’ll stick with places that specialize in sushi. They’re in a spot that has housed seemingly about one new business a year for the last decade. Some spots are just kinda bad luck. They have a decent location, with some parking and some visibility from the street, but I bet a lot of people just drive by here without pulling in. It’s nice enough, though. You walk into a medium-sized dining room, clean, with about 15 tables and in back there’s a sushi bar. Along the walls, shelves display several dozen interesting-looking sake bottles, all 750mls with beautiful labels. First warning you should consider: none of these sakes is on the house menu. The menu has fewer than a dozen sakes, many of them in cans, most of them pretty expensive – $ 15 for about 200ml. They stock nice-enough stuff, but this isn’t the place to look for a bargain on drinks. They have quite a few canned Korean and Japanese beers, but nothing you can’t find in a bigger supermarket. The menu has a few cooked items(ramen, teriyaki, a couple other things), and a modest selection of sashimi and nigiri. They offer a few different platters with combinations. The fish itself isn’t bad. They were preparing a large platter for a group when we were there, and there was a plate of uncut fish sitting out for over an hour, which makes me a little nervous. We definitely caught a whiff of fishy aroma at one point, which is also not a great sign. What we ate tasted fine, and seemed fully tender, and you certainly can’t argue with the price. But the chefs were discussing half the things they did behind the counter; they didn’t have that smooth-running feel that a well-established place will have. The server was very sweet, and she was patient with the 10 minutes it took us to make up our minds about what to order. But overall, everybody seemed a bit unsure of how everything was supposed to work. Bottom lina, we had a bowl of ramen, a sashimi platter, a little can of sake, and several free banchan-type side dishes(offered complimentarily) for about $ 60 with tax and tip. Even with the over-priced sake, you can’t argue too much with the prices here. But bottom line, I think I’d rather make sushi a less-frequent splurge, and spend a tiny bit more on it.

Will NOT come back to this place as i got bad stomach problems after eating at this place. I ate there around 9pm on a Wednesday night, the morning after i was extremely nauseous and threw up the food from the night before. My entire body ached for the next 2 days. I’m sorry but i will not come back here.

Menu here seemed pretty expensive, however, I came for the chicken teriyaki lunch special. $ 5.99 is probably the cheapest lunch you can get, outside of fast food. Only way I can describe it is that it’s worth the money, but it’s nothing special. No complaints about the service time or staff. Everything here is just average. I’ll probably come back on those days where you can’t decide what you want to eat.

I actually don’t understand the order in which they serve people here. I ordered over 30 minutes ago and haven’t got a single thing. A couple that came in after me also ordered. Yet, a group of 3 that came 15 minutes after I ordered got all their food first. They ordered one of the dishes that my friend ordered but theirs comes out first? A few sushi platters it looked like and then the sashimi salad bowl that my friend ordered. Anyway. Right as I was about to walk out, the food came. Lucky them. The miso ramen I ordered came out first and it was not really worth it. It was mostly cabbage(~60+%) with some noodles and 2 half pieces of fish cake. Very salty, even for ramen. There was just so much cabbage that it tasted more like cabbage ramen than anything else. The sashimi salad bowl was also very average tasting. Not much sashimi so we still don’t understand why it took over 30 minutes to cut up some fish and put in on top of rice and lettuce. With only 1 table that was already receiving their food when we came in and a 30+ minute wait time, and a table that ordered after us getting all their food first? the service can be considered terrible. Overall? Won’t come back. The prices seem pretty low, but for the quality and amount of food, plus the wait time? It really isn’t worth it.

Was having high hopes about this place because it so close to our house. Ordered garlic chicken and half regular to go. I dont know what happened, it might’ve been a late order but it’s still not an excuse to cook chicken that’s so burnt it’s inedible. So disappointed.

Just a warning, this place is not a hot pot despite the name! It’s more of a Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant that is kid friendly but at the same time allows for a few drinks! I tried the katsu don, their special Korean style rotisserie chicken and their cream cheese teopokki(Korean rice cake). Everything was pretty good and portions are pretty large. The chicken imo had a very clean taste while the portion of the katsu don was big(could probably feed two people). What suprised me most was the cream cheese teopokki though; it is something you would only find in Korea and was very tasty! Overall, would come back for a few drinks and food! P.S Service was pretty good and the restaurant was very clean!
