Good selection of sushi rolls. I tried the«God of Vege» roll –which is a vegetarian roll and it was SO good! I wasn’t able to order other specialty rolls due to my food allergy, as they contained either shrimp or crab. They had many other choices of traditional sushi– the salmon roll was also good. the staff was very nice and welcoming and I’ll visit this place again.

Staying in Lynwood, found this hot and new restaurant on Unilocal Ordered Las Vegas roll $ 10 and Spider crab roll $ 9, deal for dinner is $ 18 for two rolls and saved a buck The rolls are mediocre, 3 stars My husband ordered Tonkatsu entrée $ 9, comes with two breaded pork chops, small salad, and a dollop of rice, with pickled vegetables. The TonKatsu was to dry and slightly burnt and the pickled vegetables was lackluster, 2 stars Nabeyaki udon $ 10 Udon with shiitake mushroom slices, one piece of shrimp tempura, two small slices of Fishcake… but it’s missing the key ingredient in Nabeyaki, chicken? Flavor is decent…3.5 stars Service is friendly (Written by the husband)

So disappointed :( I like the idea of 3 rolls for $ 25. However, we could have gotten better rolls at H Mart(3 for $ 20). First of all, the complimentary miso soup was soapy. Both the spoons and bowls smelled chemically and there was residual soap. Inedible. Their soy sauce also tasted chemically. I saw the sushi chef drinking a lot of beer and I thought«this place seems like a cool, fun place to work.» Now I’m thinking«regrets.» All the rolls were very loose and fell apart. The rice wasn’t sticky and missing that sweet, vinegary flavor. The Crazy Monkey roll was«fishy»(in a bad way). The other two were totally bland. In the future, I’ll go to 02 Sushi(best in Lynnwood), Wild Wasabi or even HMart when I’m craving sushi.

I’m surprised with all the high ratings. I went in for the ramen and it was the most bland and flavorless ramen I’ve ever had. A packaged instant ramen tastes better. Our service was also horrible, we always had to flag down the wait staff. There’s something about Korean owned Japanese restaurants that makes me question the authenticity of the food, and I’m always disappointed when I do give it a try.

finally a good sushi place in lynnwood area! Got the mizumi, red and white roll, and something else.(sorry cant remember) The red and white roll is recommended for sashimi lovers as it had no sauce except the dot of hot sauce on top. mizumi roll was amazing too. What more can you ask for $ 20 for 3 rolls on a weekend lunch? Also the chirashi bowl in the middle had thick cuts of sashimi filled with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and swordfish. It also had a cooked shrimp and egg too. All the fish were fresh and you could really identify the different flavors with each bite. Obviously the presentation was beautiful! The waitress was really nice too and the atmosphere is good. The booths were very unique too So gonna come back !

We came here on a Sunday for lunch to utilize the 3 rolls for $ 20 deal. The restaurant was completely empty yet fully staffed. Upon a quick inspection, I find the interiors to be both cute and clean. However, they have been opened for a little over a month so this might change overtime. Service was not only quick, but friendly, providing complimentary hot tea to warm up from the rain outside. The three of us ordered the 3 for $ 20 special along with the takoyaki. The food was very basic with most rolls deriving from the California roll. The takoyaki contained mostly flour and little octopus. That being said, I enjoyed the food along with complimentary miso soup. Sure, it’s not top notch quality but this should be obvious given the price. It’s ten times the quality as sushi land, and cheaper if you count down to the number of sushi slices. I also find this place to be much better than the sushi place in the Hmart food court. For the exact same deal, you’ll get better quality sushi and overall atmosphere/experience. Plus, their sushi is not mayo heavy compared with the Hmart food court. This isn’t a place I would rush to come again, but if I were ever in the area and needed a quick sushi fix, I’d definitely go here.

I came here last week with my dad and it was amazing. The sushi quality made me speechless. You can tell especially since the sushi just melts in your mouth when you take your first bite. I got a bunch of their nigiris and also their assorted sushi. Yes, it is pricey, but you know what? It’s sushi… Sushi is not cheap and if you go to a cheap sushi spot you know the fish is not as fresh. One other thing you have to know is that this place is very modernized. It’s not one of those quite Japanese Sushi restaurants, but rather its a place to chill and to have a beer or two. It has a very young feel to it especially with the hip-hop and EDM music playing in the background. Great for college students/celebrations if you want to blow some money to drink and eat great sushi. It is owned by friendly Asian people and lets be real, the Asian culture is very loud and obnoxious sometimes at restaurants and you know what? It is at American restaurants/bars too! The review below amazes me how scared the user got so just IGNOREIT because you are missing out on great sushi. It’s probably the best sushi spot to open up in Lynwood. By the way. please don’t get weird dishes like salad and other things that you can get at a normal grocery store. This is a sushi restaurant not a Americanized salad bar. I do come from an Asian background and I truly appreciate the Asian cuisine that this place puts into their dishes. Try it out.

Not too impressed although I really wanted to like it! $ 24 for a plate of almost nonexistent yellowfin on a giant green salad. It was a $ 10 appetizer at best. And my wife had the $ 29 special which was pretty skimpy sashimi portions, a bit of fried octopus, and four California rolls. The fish was so so. C’mon, this is alderwood, not belltown.

I was dying for some sushi so I ventured here on a Wednesday night. It was a recommended as a hot and new spot. Our group was the only people in the restaurant besides the staff. Most people are flocking to the Korean barbecue place next door instead… for now! We were seated at the table by a giant TV and were served hot tea and miso soup before our meal. We were extra hungry after the gym so my boyfriend and I shared 5 sushi rolls and topped it off with vanilla fried ice cream. We got a California roll, shrimp tempura roll, and did the 3 rolls for $ 25 dinner special. We chose the Lynwood, Mizumi, and Crunch roll for the combo. The sushi came out fairly quickly served on two plates. I loved every single roll. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. The rolls were well put together so nothing awkwardly fell apart when you tried to take it off the plate. Our favorite roll was the Lynnwood and Crunch roll. The Mizumi was awkwardly large and squishy. I can’t wait to try more rolls from their extensive menu. There are 2 reason why this place lost a star for my review. 1) My fried ice cream did not have a cherry like my friends’ one and then my whipped cream fell off when it was placed on the table. I felt like they rushed to put it out. I was already disappointed as vanilla was the only flavor they had out of the 3 options listed… Nonetheless it tasted good. Nothing special. I will not be ordering it again. 2) We were the only ones in the restaurant yet they still could not split our check. They gave us the option to split the check 5 ways but that wasn’t helpful since we all got different amounts of food. I don’t know why it was too difficult to ring us up as 3 separate parties. This is not to say the service was not attentive and friendly. It’s just inconvenient for groups. TLDR: Bomb sushi. Good service. Ugly ice cream.

My husband and I visited this restaurant last evening, and I won’t say much to address the food, because what occurred while we dined there far overshadowed the food, which was average. When we arrived, there were three young men who were obviously extremely intoxicated running all over the restaurant, in and out the front door, yelling and screaming, pushing each other down on the ground, pounding on the table, and just being generally obnoxious and very loud, and behaving very badly. We wondered, but entered anyway and were seated. We ordered food, only to find out that the obnoxious drunks returned to their table, right next to ours. We continued with our meal, the entire time listening to loud, profane language, table pounding, dishes crashing, continued obnoxious behavior, and finally, one of the drunks falling out of the booth onto the floor right next to us. Although this became a bit much to put up with while trying to enjoy a meal, we just minded our own business, but wondered why a business would put up with such behavior over such an extended period, doing nothing to ask these drunken guys to tone it down, or better yet, ask them to leave. They were obviously over served, and continued to carry on throughout our meal, with no management or oversight by the restaurant in sight. Finally, we got our bill and really couldn’t wait to leave. We hadn’t complained to anyone about these drunken jerks, but obviously, one of the waitresses had asked them to quiet down or something by then, and they obviously assumed WE had complained, which we had not. We had just suffered their rude, loud behavior in silence, and tried to finish our meal as quickly as possible. When we got up to the leave, two of the drunk jerks were trying to sort of stare us down or something, and then as we walked away, shouted some obscenities and insults at us. My husband obviously did not like this, so he stopped and politely asked that they not speak to me that way as we were leaving. They immediately jumped up from their table and one of them put his hands on my husband shoved him and was in his face, shouting drunken insults, etc. We immediately just tried to ignore them and turn to leave, and two of them followed us out the door to the parking lot. They started confronting my husband and I was afraid the three of them were going to jump him, so I immediately ran back inside and shouted for someone to call 911. None of the employees, about four of them, made even one move to do ANYTHING about what was occurring! Unbelievable that they would not say or do anything to control the behavior of these drunken jerks that they had obviously over served alcohol. One of the guys continued to follow my husband around the parking lot outside the door, while he continued to try to walk away to avoid him. The drunk kept getting in his face. Meanwhile, I’m inside calling 911 on my cell phone, hoping nothing would happen before the police arrived. We are not the type of people who get into physical altercations and get drunk in public, so this was getting a little scary for us. Meanwhile, absolutely nothing done and no involvement by anyone from the restaurant. They all continued to just stand around and stare while their drunken customers attacked us! The police finally came and since the jerks had put their hands on my husband and shoved him, we were within our rights to press charges. Lucky for them we chose not to do so, we just wanted them to get away from us so we could get to our car and leave. What a nightmare. I don’t know what happened after we were able to leave, but I hope those a-holes all got arrested for drunk in public. Thank you to the Lynnwood police for responding so quickly and coming to our assistance against these surly, angry drunks. I really don’t expect for either of us to be assaulted when we try to enjoy a meal at a restaurant. I am appalled that this place did absolutely NOTHING to control the behavior of these guys after they had been running all over the restaurant out of control for over an hour, and that was only the time we were there. They had obviously been there for longer than that. Why did they continue to serve them alcohol and allow them to assault other customers? Absolutely unacceptable. Needless to say we will never return. If you decide to dine here, be aware that they over serve alcohol to their customers and allow them to behave in a loud and obnoxious manner, at the expense of all other customers. Also be aware that if their drunken customers assault you at random while you are there, they will do absolutely nothing to assist you, will not call 911, and will not even speak to you or apologize for anything that happens to you while you are there. Dine here at your own risk. I sincerely hope they lose their liquor license, since they obviously over serve alcohol to drunk customers and permit violence while standing around doing nothing. Disgusting

This is one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The fish was fresh, the pieces were very big and they had some different and interesting rolls, including the Monkey Brain roll that had no rice. Delicious food, excellent service and good prices. I will be back.

Just wow! Oshima’s finally got some serious competition for best sushi in Lynnwood. My family stopped in to try their dinner special, 3 rolls for $ 25. They’ve got a good assortment of «the usual» rolls but each had their own unique take. We had the Vegas Roll, the Crunch Roll, and the Orange Delight Roll which was unlike any roll I’ve ever had but is probably my new favorite with it’s bright citrus flavor. For $ 35, we actually got some excellent value. The gyoza came with a delicious sauce, and the edamame was plentiful. Combined with the stellar service(our glasses never got below half, except our toddler who was only give a half glass without us having to ask) we’ll definitely be eating here again.
