BEST.KOREAN.RESTAURANT. Repeat after me: I need to go right now. ASAP. The banchan(Korean side dishes) is absolutely delicious. If I were to just rate this place by the side dishes, I would give it 5 stars. The soondubujigae(tofu soup) is the best I have ever had. They have yummy-in-your tummy bbq(with kind servers who replace the meat-stained pan with a new one halfway through your meal), and a personal favorite, doganitang(ox-tendon soup) which is very nutritious. The soup is plain when it comes to you so you just add as much salt as you like, with green onions(which can be added if you like), and whalah! it is a true joy to eat c: Just thinking about eating here makes me salivate.

My friend and I went in for the all you can eat. We got the beef bulgogi and the beef brisket. I personally loved the beef bulgogi the marinara sauce is yummy. The beef brisket is good but personally too dry for me, and I know that’s not their fault it’s just how that meat is. She ordered one pork belly roll, I gave it a try and it’s just not for me. Although my friend ate it up and she said it was good, I just don’t like the texture or the amount of fat on it. The sides were good and they were really good on checking in with us! It was a busy Friday night so it was nice to not be ignored by them. It was my First time trying Korean BBQ and I loved it!

Horrible experiences… I went there with my friends and got the all you can eat. We spent at least 15 minutes for waiting the menu and water. Then, after the food got to the table, we spent another 10 minutes waiting for the tongs. Seriously, we spent more time on waiting than enjoying the food. The side dishes and meat did not have much variety, and the quality is on average. Do not expect too much on a $ 19.99 deal. More, the service was EXTREMELYBAD. When we asked for adding water, getting more side dishes, turning on the stove, and changing the grill pan because it was grease and burnt, the waitress showed an annoying face and spoke in a whisper in Korean, which I did not know what it meant. Overall, I would say she was really rude and unhelpful. I would never and ever come to this place again.

The worst customer service I never had before to eat korean BBQ The quality of food is so so The beef and the chicken is qualified The middle age woman who wears glasses is rude. Reason: dun fill the small dishes Don’t turn on the stove appropriately Don’t refill hot tea Finally said you need to give more tips in America. This is the law. I can tell you I gave $ 1 for her I left my gloves I am sure they stole it !!! Review: −2÷10 #usa#seattle#foodblogger#foodadventure#lynnwood#foodoftheday#foodie#hkig#食評家#相機食先

Horrible service. They bump us because the owners decided they wanted to eat. At least lie to us but place was quite sticky anyways and dirty, so maybe it’s a good thing.

Place is messy and when we got there they said the initial wait was 15 and we waited for almost 50 minutes and then waiter would tell us that the owners family is coming so we have one hour to eat and if we want to stay longer we need to wait another 20 minutes for a different table… Obviously the owner doesn’t care about customers. Won’t be coming here again for sure, rather take my business to others that respect their customers. I usually don’t review restaurants but the owner is so rude I had to make an account to write one.

Good food, but really slow service, They never refilled our banchan, and water. Was there for 2 hours, and got a water refill once. The employees barely speak english so it is very hard to communicate. Food is good though.

I came here with a friend & we got the all you can eat special. The food is great & I was stuffed by the time we finished. All the meat & side dishes just complimented each other perfectly. Only thing that kind of falls below bar is that the waitresses don’t come and ask how you’re doing. So you don’t really get a chance to order more meat if you got the all you can eat which sort of defeats the point. Other than that, great restaurant. Will come back again.

So much better than our last foray into Korean food! Glad to see that the Washington area has decent Korean food. This still doesn’t make the top grade, but it was pretty close. Not quite the variety of ban chan dishes that I was looking for, but the ban chan was good and they did refill. Big plus that they were open early. The whole family had just done Bubble Run that morning and we were pretty hungry at 10:30 when we rolled in. The menu is eclectic and deep, pretty much including the gamut of Korean food(including the do-it-yourself BBQ). Although my favorites were calling my name, I decided to try something a bit different and went with a seafood noodle soup(came with wheat noodles). My husband had the rice cake soup(he didn’t realize that it wasn’t vegetarian) and we ordered the beef bone soup for my son plus dumplings for our daughter. None of the dishes were spicy but the broths were very good. Be aware that they are under-salted, but the tables had a big dish of sea salt on them provided to season your soup. Plus the soup is served with green onions and chili paste. Prices were reasonable considering portion size. Only major criticism I had was the slow service. But it wasn’t too bad. All in all, I would recommend.

First time coming here, and I decided to get the all you can eat(AYCE) deal for $ 20 with 6 types of meat included(see my tip for a photo of the deal). It was a Tuesday night, walking in around 5:30pm, and it wasn’t busy. When the food got to my table, I was pleased with the quantity of the initial round. I reached for the chicken and put it on the grill first since I knew it would take a long time to cook. Then I reached for the pork belly. The tongs hit the pork belly like it hit a block of ice. Yup, each slab of pork belly was completely FROZEN! Ok… that’s definitely not how it should be when it reaches my table. It should be defrosted. Whatever… I’ll let it stay on the plate a bit longer. I reached for the beef brisket. Aaaaand each piece was also completely frozen! Thankfully, the other meats were not frozen… Alright, what gives? The meat was average quality at best. I basically had red, fatty ice blocks on the plate. I jut don’t see how this restaurant could possibly have such high praise for its food. Service wasn’t so bad, granted it wasn’t that busy(though a few other families came in while I was eating). Really, though, you just should not serve any frozen meat to someone about to grill everything. They need to be properly defrosted.

We found a long black hair in our japchae(noodle). GAG! This place is over rated. The food was gross and the service was horrible. We got the all you can eat. $ 20 per person I would think it would have more meat options than 5. They didn’t come over to our table often to check if we needed more meat, water, or refill on our sides. The quality of the food was very poor. The marinated beef was like ground beef when it’s suppose to be strips of meat. Will not come back.

One of the better KBBQ places I’ve been to while living in Seattle. It’s difficult to find a place that can compare to LA. But, Original Sul Lung Tang is as close as I’ve found in terms of price and quality. For $ 20, we got bulgogi, samgypsaal, chicken, and beef brisket as well as the oodles of side dishes. Although it doesn’t come with the traditional fare of soup and egg in a pot, the variety was appreciated. The service is great, too. I came with a large group, and the waitress was very accommodating with our requests. Biggest downside was the size of their grills. For large groups, it doesn’t fit enough meat. Eating is slow because of this, and I hate that my brain is given time to catch up with the fullness of my stomach. Gives less opportunity to stuff myself beyond belief. Also a word of warning: if you come with a group where only some are partaking in the AYCE, know that you cannot sit at the same table. You either all have AYCE, or you split up.

Good and relatively authentic. You don’t have to eat the BBQ. they have good seafood pancake, bibimbap, tofu hotpot etc as well. In fact i’ve never had the BBQ, and only the other goodies. Overall the side dishes are tasty, the service is friendly, and good spot for a casual lunch.

Not my cup of tea. A group of friends and I arrived, were greeted as we walked in, seated within a minute or two. Sat down and were handed menus and some hot green tea. Didn’t smell too great but it tasted like a nice green tea. Looking at the menu and I was ready to leave. It was pretty confusing and there weren’t really any sides to choose from. 19.99 during happy hour for all you can eat meat(I think, lots of Korean writing which confused me even more) server didn’t speak very good English so he couldn’t really explain the small side dishes that come with the meat. We had the chicken, bacon and beef. All pretty well marinated. Mashed potatoes & other potatoes were cold, maybe normal, but not to me. It was weird. Overall I ate the meat, rice and gyoza. Not what I was hoping for. Especially since it came out to be $ 147 for 5 people. Adding gratuity for 8 is understandable for most places. But when you cook your own meat here, I don’t think that’s very fair for smaller groups. & no side noodles, really?! I will not be coming back here. Korean bbq is not for me.

ONEOFTHEBESTPLACESFORALL-YOU-CAN-EATKOREANBBQ! First off, the meats here are pretty good — the pork belly, the beef brisket, the intestines(not for everyone), and the chicken are WELLMARINATED. When I take my friends who hadn’t lost their KBBQ V-card yet they really like the chicken! Also, this places serves one of the better banchans(side dishes) in my opinion. There is a good variety, such as the kimchi, bean sprouts, fish cakes, etc., and some banchan that I don’t see at other Korean places, like the steamed egg. Another thing is that the servers are very friendly! They actually speak English, will respond back in Korean if you say something to them in broken Korean, and are quick when you need something. Finally, the place here is VERYCLEAN. Always a plus considering that many Asian food places are gross with a capital G. P. S.: there is a private parking lot at this place, but the restaurant might be hard to spot if you don’t read Korean because the sign is in Korean. Finally, and yes finally, the all-you-can-eat(4pm-9pm) price went up to $ 19.99/person. Not surprising considering that other places have done the same thing.

I’ve been here a few times now and I’m not very impressed and here are my reasons why. 1. All you can eat BBQ is actually only during a certain time. I believe it’s from 4 – 9 pm for $ 19.99 currently. 2. Not very many a la cart items if you don’t/can’t do all you can eat. You’re limited in what you can choose. There are a la cart combo items for BBQ-ing but again, if you don’t want to do that then you’re kind of stuck. Also, I think the items are really expensive. $ 16.99 for BBQ chicken +$ 1 if you want it spicy. What is this?! 3. Food is just okay. I think there could be more flavor in the food. There was a nice variety of banchan but the flavors weren’t there for many of the dishes. The kim chi I thought was pretty bad. 4. Pretty bad service. Walked in and no one greeted us. No one seemed to even really notice us when we walked in and it wasn’t packed either by the way so there was a delay in getting seated. After bringing out our food they pretty much forgot about us. Never asked if we wanted any refills, never asked how the food was, also we literally sat there for 15 minutes after finishing our meal before we could get someone’s attention to get us some boxes and the check. Let me reiterate that it was not busy. I gave this place a few tries, it came up short. Doesn’t mean I won’t come back here again, it just won’t be my first choice.

My family and I returned to try their AYCE grilled meat option for dinner, and I have to say that I was very impressed. We found our family of five having to sit next to the front door(unseasonably cold air kept hitting us as customers entered/exited) for quite a while for an open grill table. When a table finally freed up, I expected them to quickly swipe the table so we could be seated, but I saw the waitress take the time to really clean around the grill to make sure we didn’t have any leftover splatters of grease. Since almost every table in the restaurant was filled, I was expecting terrible service. So imagine my surprise when the waitress appeared promptly to take our order with a tray of water for the table. She then returned in very little time with our salad, ban chan, plates/utensils and the meat platters. They were generous with their meat portions, and the meat was good quality — not too much fat on anything we tried. I wasn’t a fan of the dressing on the salad that accompanied our meal, but I think we can ask for less dressing next time. Throughout our meal, the service was very responsive and friendly — even when we asked for more ban chan. I would recommend asking to change out the grill pan when you’re about halfway through your meal, as burnt juices tended to make the flavor of the meat taste charred and smoky. I am sticking with the four star rating, because I think for an AYCE grilling restaurant, they could benefit from adding a few more hoods and grill tables. I imagine they lose quite a bit of business from people walking in and seeing the wait for a grill table to be 4 parties deep. And it wasn’t fun waiting for 20 minutes for a table with no one ahead of us.

Came here last night with my wife for ACYEKBBQ. We came during their«HH» which was $ 20/each — pretty comparable to other spots. It came with bulgogi, marinated chicken thigh, brisket, and pork belly. It also came with beef and pork intestine, which we declined. The bulgobi was pretty good and had decent flavor. However, I was disappointed with the chicken, which lacked the rich savory/sweet flavors you’d expect. The pork belly and brisket were your average fare you find at any other spot. The gas grill was just big enough for two people, but if a party of 4 or more sat down, there’s not enough area to grill enough food for everyone. I did enjoy the salad which had a rice wine vinegar/gochujang dressing and carried some nice heat. The banchan was also fine. The servers were polite but they never came to check on us and I had to wave one down to change our blackened grill. It wasn’t busy either, quite dead actually, so that couldn’t have been an excuse. It’s not the best KBBQ we’ve been to, but it did satisfy our craving and we walked out full.

I heard a lot of good Korean restaurants are in Lynnwood, of coz, we checked it out one by one. While traditional restaurants and barbecue joints comprise most of the selections, look for the places that specialize in one or two dishes, such as beef short ribs, bibmbap and etc. Original Sul Lung Tang serves well-crafted traditional Korean dishes with huge flavor. We almost wanted to order everything on the menu. The beef short ribs were a table-pleaser, it served boneless and rolled up in 2 big rolls on the plate. OMG! It’s in full flavour and so delicious! No way that we can have it in Vancouver either qualitywise or pricewise. The sliced beef was excellent and melted in my mouth. Stir fried squid was great too! Perfect spicy and flavour. However, the deep fried dumplings were so dry and beef soup was a bit gamey. Overall, we loved it and definitely will return next time.
