We don’t have these in Cincinnati(yet!), and so when I saw one on a recently trip to Louisville, I had to pop in and get my favorite berry smoothie. If you’re never tried this place before, I highly recommend it. They’re very friendly and enthusiastic. I started chatting with the owner(she lived in St. Louis twice, and I grew up there). If you dig smoothies, check this place out!

Should be called Yum-ba Juice! This location is conveniently located right on Fourth Street and Liberty. Although the shop is small, I counted at least 6 blenders to process orders as they come in. We went in on a Saturday Morning for a recovery drink and discovered smoothie heaven. In addition for Jamba Juice being known for fresh ingredients, they also served veggie smoothie options, and small sandwiches. I got the Berry Blend smoothie and added some protein powder, one of their many powder supplements into my drink. I opted to go Lean and not get the extra calories in the frozen yogurt. I could not believe it, but the 32 oz was under 400 calories! My dark berry smoothie was filling and extremely delicious. My boyfriend got the tropical smoothie with regular frozen yogurt. You could definitely tell the difference that his was slightly creamier, but mine was no less delicious. Thank goodness for their rewards card, because I will be juicing my workouts with this Jamba more often.

#PROTIP They do pour over coffee, so if you’re in town for a conference, let the schmucks line up at Einstein Bros and Starbucks and get a better cup of coffee here with very very little effort. Plus, smoothies!

I was really happy when Jamba came to Louisville, they are everywhere up north. I’ve missed the Peanut Butter Moo’d, Matcha Green Tea Blast and Orange Dream Machine, smoothies. This is one of the biggest restaurants I’ve seen for them, most are a lot smaller. I walked in and got my order right away a small Peanut Butter Moo’d with protean powder, and it was delicious. After chatting with the people behind the counter I found out one of the people in the shop was from the Naperville IL store near where I lived for a short while. Small world it seems. The shop is nice and bright with the warm woods, and windows lining the corner store. There is a bit of room to sit and talk if you want but most is taken up by the counter and entry ways. On a hot day this place will be a welcome treat with AC and a cold smoothie, if you’re like me you will still be having smoothies for a late dinner in winter anyway. Stop in and for peanut butter lovers get the Peanut Butter Moo’d.

I’m so glad we finally have a Jamba Juice in Louisville and that they put it downtown instead of on the east end! So, I walked in today and I said, «I need something to cure my cold.» Instead of looking at me like I was crazy, the Jamba Juice lady said, «Absolutely! I’ll make you a Coldbuster Smoothie. Do you want an extra immune booster in that?» I said, «Definitely. This cold is awful! But can you make that light? I’m trying to lose some weight.» She said, «Yes! That smoothie already comes light.» I said«Perfect!» That is why I love Jamba Juice! Drink it and be well… or at least feel like you are well. Either way it always tastes delicious.

Glad to see Jamba Juice hit the Ville at last. Long awaited! They use real fruit and wholesome ingredients unlike that travesty of a chain that goes by the initials S. K. In addition, JJ has an aesthetic more akin to what Starbuck’s does with coffee. This will be a valuable new addition to my downtown routine on workout days. This location is at the NW corner of 4th and Liberty(not sure what is up with the address for this listing but it maps correctly). I notified the store manager of this issue so hopefully he’ll own it.

Finally! Jamba Juice has opened in Louisville! I am the biggest JJ fan around, so my excitement about this opening is through the roof. I was actually the first customer at this location, and all of my expectations were met. Actually, they were succeeded! The staff was extremely kind and friendly upon setting foot inside. The interior is bright and cheerful, just like every location I have been to in other cities. The smoothies were spot on – aka delicious. If you’re looking for a suggestion, my personal favorite is Razzmatazz(even the«Make It Light» version – a healthier/lighter version – is wonderful). I’m also a big fan of the Berry Topper(smoothie with bananas and oats on top) and steel cut oatmeal for breakfast. I personally guarantee you will NOT find a better smoothie than Jamba Juice. Louisvillians, if you haven’t been to JJ before, you must get there ASAP. I’m doing my best not to overdose, but it is SOGOOD.
