First visit to Jamba Juice and was so stoked to try it. Since I had a cold I decided to try vitamin C booster with chia seeds booster. Took the staff a while to acknowledge my presence when ready to order which surprised me as I was the only person needing assistance. However, after ordering I was happy with smoothie. I later looked online at what was in my smoothie and somewhat surprised at the contents. Processed Juice and other stuff, when I really just wanted the real juice. This is my bad though, because I did not ask or research prior to ordering. Just be sure to research if you are concerned about contents of your order. I was surprised at how pricey the smoothies are for some reason. Not sure why this surprises me, but it did. If you are local pick up loyalty cards. I do like the boosters offered like chia seeds and wheatgrass and what not. Have not tried food, but seems like good choice for juices.

Went to this place after four years, literally. When I was born and brought up in California, I always had to have one of these a week when this«beverage restaurant» was built in my city. Came back here, last Monday, because I had a gift card and it had the same great taste. They apparently have surveys at this one. I complete it and get a nifty buy one, get one free deal off the receipt.

I was here 2 days ago and received terrible customer service. The product was up to the same standard I expect, but I don’t understand how the lady behind the register could be so rude to me. I walk into Jamba Juice, one of the things I miss about CA now living in VA, to find that the menu has been updated since my last visit. No problem, it’s just going to take someone who doesn’t eat bananas a little time to read through the list. As the only customer in the store, I didn’t get to read over things before I was asked for my order. I say I want a 16 ounce … ummm … still reading the menu. The girl behind the register sighs, rolls her eyes and another staff members walks by and says«I know». What? I’m the only paying customer in the store. I’m not being rude, I just want to read the menu! I place my order, use the bathroom and come out waiting on my beverage to be completed and the girl at the register is arguing with the customer because they don’t have carrot juice. My understanding: the customer ordered carrot juice, the clerk tells her they’re out, the customer asks if that’s the only thing they’re out of before changing her order, the woman behind the registered gives her an attitude. The woman making drinks had to apologize because she(woman behind the register) had a bad day. Here’s an idea: the girl who has a bad day makes drinks, and the pleasant girl talks to customers. Where was the manager? The only reason for the second star is because the product was up to par.

Yep, it’s a chain and I cheated on my local spot. But my co-worker picked the location for our meeting and was craving carrot juice. I was impressed, though. Organic steel cut oatmeal in soymilk? And nothing else added unless I ask for it? The only way they could improve on that is by offering the unsweetened variety and sourcing only non-GMO. It’s not high on value — a little pricey but you pay for health food convenience in this country. I would not spend my money here to tell you the truth, but it’s good to know that I have a quick, healthy, on-the-go option downtown. Staff was super friendly, quick and helpful. The store was bright, clean and spacious. I’d go back again but it won’t be a habit.
