I got color and a haircut with Blanca, her service was fast, efficient and she was so nice during the whole thing! I must say this place does a great job taking care of their clients! Thank you so much.

Been going here for years, mostly for face waxing by Marisella. It’s $ 20 for a full face wax(upper lip, eyebrows, chin, cheeks, neck, nose, forehead). It gets the job done although it’s not as cushy as other salons since they don’t wear gloves. You’ve got to be vocal about what you want your eyebrows to look like(e.g. cleaning? shaping?) and if the wax is too hot.

Honestly, I thought this salon was quite nice. The staff is really friendly and the prices are very affordable. I went in to get my tips cut and I loved them. It’s a good salon for the family. It’s very open and well spaced. If it’s busy the wait won’t be that long. I will be back again.

I’ve been helped by a lot of different stylist there. Lilia and Blanca’s work I like a lot. Sara no so much.

I went to Margarita’s about a year or so ago for a trim(I have short hair) as my hair needed to be neatened up. I don’t know who the beautician was, but she butchered my hair!!! to about ½″ of my scalp! That’s short. I vowed never to go back again. My husband on the other hand needed a hair trim and stopped at Margarita’s on his way home from work. They did the same thing to him!!! Of course I’m sure it will look okay(except for the places he was butchered in) after about a month. Do any of these people that work at Margarita’s hair salon have licenses? They could not have graduated for anything but a butcher shop! If you cherish your hair… DON’T GOTOTHISPLACE!!!

This is the $ 10 spot for men’s haircuts. All the ladies are cool. Parking & traffic stink but the side street is fine and the economy service is well worth it. I suggest calling ahead to reserve a stylist @ no extra charge.

Your standard unisex hair salon. They are really nice, they mean well. Go in for your typical cut… they will wash, trim and style your hair for $ 15, which is a steal. However, it’s not very organized, which seems to be mostly in part because it’s more your ‘mom-and-pop’ type salon than a Salon Republic. I always try to look out for the little guy. I believe in small business. My only real gripe with them is that I went in for a trim a few weeks after having had my hair done somewhere else– I have a hard time pledging allegiance to salons– and I’d been there before, so I thought I was in good hands. Well, I had flared bangs and when my stylist(honestly can’t remember her name, she was a bit older) began to trim them, she completely ignored their shape and ended up cutting them at two different lengths, including a section of hair that wasn’t originally part of my bangs. I would have even excused this, except, after all was said and done, the bangs looked really weird. I was never able to really enjoy them, I ended up pinning them back for months with bobbi pins waiting for the hair to grow out. It was very, very disappointing.

I have been going here for years and it is a pleasant experience once you know who to use. There are various different ladies to chose from, only few who speak and understand English well. I would stay away from the two shorter ladies in the rear of the salon. I’ve had unpleasant experiences with them both, but pleasant experiences with just about everyone else. The place is a little messy but for simple guy’s haircut, you cannot beat $ 10.

Premature graying would be my main dilemma, and as the vain girl that I am, I need them covered.. . EVERY4WEEKS. Yes, every 30 days practically, and my hair is naturally dark, so they stand out. Dying my hair with my favorite girl is quite pricey every four weeks, so I do in betweens myself, but I make a MESS. Well, I just moved and noticed this little salon down the street when I zoom back and forth from home to work. I stopped in, asked how much for a dye job if I provide my own dye, $ 15.00 she says. WOW! So, today I dart on over to get my «maturing» covered and I was pleasantly surprised. I was out of there in less than in hour(didn’t dry my hair). They do all types of hair for kids, men & women. I didn’t get a cut here, so my review is based only on the service and friendliness. They also do mani-pedis($ 25). I WILL be back!

3 stars. Pretty regular beauty salon. I tend to favor«barber shops» but this was in the neighborhood and I thought I’d give it a try. Came for a regular cut, which cost me $ 10, before tips. There was a bit of a wait, even with three or four beauticians working, and each cut took about 20 minutes or so. My cut came out OK, the only downer is that the sideburns were trimmed differently(didn’t notice until I got home). The ladies are friendly and make good conversation. Good thing about Margarita’s is that they are open daily(incl. Saturday and Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Verdict: regular beauty salon, open weekends, but I do like my sideburns to match on both sides, so Margarita’s hasn’t won me over completely.
