the worst subway ever in Los Alamitos. very slow service and terrible sandwhich quality. people don’t know what they’re doing and they only put 3 pieces of any topping you want, asked 3 times to get more spinach. ZERO STARS

First of all I hate that I have to do such a poor review, but I’ve had it with this place. I’ve given them plenty of chances and they don’t get any better. Seems like they are going backwards.
Went in to grab two sandwiches and take them home to enjoy with my own chips and drink. I have been ordering the same sandwich for years. Italian BMT, needless to say, I know exactly how much meat goes in there. First of all, I was shorted the amount of meat which I made sure the girl knew it. She acted like she forgot how much went in there and apologized. Second, the meat is so thin you can’t even taste it in your sandwich. Third, they put very little vegetables in the sandwich. I really hate to have to keep requesting, «can you put a little more tomatoes, pickles, bell peppers, etc…»
To ad insult to injury, I got cold sandwiches to go. The owner had the nerve to ring me up eat in and charged me tax. Now, this is illegal. I told him I know the laws and this time I’m going to let it go but what he is doing is just WRONG!!!
Regarding employees, I agree with everyone on here. No need to say more.
Will never go back to this location as there are numerous Subways around me I can patronize.

This place is ridiculous. The food isn’t the problem its the fact that the manager is a jerk. He made me stand in line after using a coupon and wait for everyone else in line to go so that I wouldn’t let them use it. I only have thirty minutes for lunch and stood there for 5 minutes waiting for them to leave. Absolutely insane.

This location refuses to honor Subway’s coupon offers for the $ 6 foot long sub if a pastrami sandwich is ordered, despite the coupon specifically stating that ‘ANY 12″ sub is only $ 6′. What a crock, & what VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS THEY HAVE THERE!!! They can keep their damn subs there becuz I will NOW go elsewhere to give a more honest business my money!

Came in with my 8yrd old daughter and asked for some ice water. The lady pointed to the soda machine, I said do you have any cups and she said no. Wow smh service here sucks.

I came in a couple weeks ago with my husband, and was very happy with the service that was provided to us. Angel greeted us & helped us and was very patient, and polite. We have been going to another Subway on ball Rd near Ralphs in cypress, where we are never greeted, service is not so great and when we order a sandwich or chopped salad, we are given a sad looking salad or sometimes they forget to chopp it. Angel was great, and it was a relief to order and receive what we asked for. I think its nice to have employees that smile and are polite and patient, it always makes me happy to come back, and we shall. :-)

The Subway sandwiches are terrible they barely put any meat on the sandwich and their services are not very kind! They hardly recognized me ad I walked in!

Close to work but rather much drive a little further for a better everything how do you mess up on a sandwich?! Machine was down so I couldn’t pay with my card lucky I had change in my pocket didn’t even offer a discount or even a cookie for the inconvenience telling everyone I know never to come here

I go to this Subway all the time. Usually I go in the evening, there is never a line. The employees are very nice and friendly. The parking lot is tiny and getting out of there can be a pain.

Hats off to the kid working… he’s doing a great job helping lots of people fast too… I got the applewood pulled pork yummy…

Terrible service the owner of the franchise is completely creepy. Nilam there is good very nice but everything else is complete crap

This Subway is Great ! The Manager/​Owner and Staff are excellent — courteous, kind, and hard-​working — and they make great sandwiches. It’s always clean and all the food products I’ve seen there have been totally fresh — which is why I keep going there. The only negative comment I agree with is that the parking is limited; however, there’s always been a spot when I go there — and I go there 2 – 3 weekdays every week,

Not coming to this Subway again.
First of all… advertising of $ 5 footlongs is FALSE. For the month of September this chain advertises turkey breast, Italian BMT and another sub. I got the turkey… and the charge to me was $ 6.25. WTF?
Second of all… the service is just not there. My sandwich maker was half talking to his coworker as he started to make my sub. The only cheese this place carried was American and shredded cheddar. What happened to the others listed on the window? I could probably go on and on about the little details about my first and last visit to this location of Subway but I’ll pass for now and avoid this place at all costs.

Decent place if you want some quick, cheap and healthy food.

service is ok – but the parking gets tough

It was about what I expect for Subway. The service was actually quick for lunchtime. I have heard about the flies from some co-​workers but this time there were none. Staff wasn’t exceptionally brilliant and I had to repeat my request several times. Also bread was a little hard and not fresh. Overall what you would expect.

Subway sandwiches are delicious! I love this chain. But this store? Not so much.
My reasons are threefold:
First, the parking is horrendous, especially in the afternoon. The lot is tiny and generally full of teenagers from the high school across the street. Once you get inside, there’s also quite a line.
Second, the manager is creepy with a capital Creep. When I was a teenager I asked for a job application. The guy wanted to hire me on the spot, even took me in the back and showed me around. Not so bad, right? But I ended up feeling uneasy about it and telling him no that day, never handed in the app or anything… and I STILL can’t go in there without him offering me work. I’m 24 now.
(Beware! He’ll probably want you, too, to join him in his legion of pimply-​faced minions.)
Third, the sandwiches usually aren’t the best. (The most important part of Subway, right?) When I pay an extra buck-​fifty or so for fresh avocado, I expect a lot of green on my sandwich. Not two spoonfuls of brown sludge. Ugh!

This Subway is located in a small strip mall off the corner of Los Alamitos Blvd. and Cerritos Ave., diagonally across the street from the high school. I’ve only been there during the late afternoon so I don’t run into the lunchtime rush. The people who operate (and I assume own) this Subway are very friendly and their sandwiches are on par with their service. I’ve only had one poor experience in the last year but I do not normally get sandwiches prepared by that particular worker.
