Pizza, Hotwings, and Ranch were satisfying but there of course are pros and cons… when we called the man who answered the phone was very rude, the guy who delivered the pizza was as well a bit obnoxious, and smelled of cigarets… to top it off we found two hairs in the pizza. DISGUSTING! Proceed to this location at your own will.

Super Bowl Sunday 2016. Deluxe Pizza $ 20 Even though the pizza is $ 10 more than Costco’s pizza. It is worth it. The crust and toppings taste better. I am not stopping buying pizza at Costco but every so often I will stop in here. Again, the $ 20 pizza is worth $ 20.

Whenever i go pizza shop, I eat cheese pizza for easy comparison. I always remember the NY’s street pizza shop w/can coke when I eat here. It doesn’t have to be gorgeous. Nice Tomato sauce, cheese and dough. Nostalgic taste and price, pizza should be like this!

The pizza was good but the service was horrible. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and she didn’t even know the prices of their food. My boyfriend and I went for take out. As we waited for our food the lady sat down to have a little something to eat, which was whatever, but as soon as someone walked in she rolled her eyes and sighed ridiculously loud. She and the owner yelled at each other from one part of the restaurant from the other, granted it’s not that big but I just found the atmosphere very unprofessional. I don’t think we’re going to go back again.

If you like hair and wood fibers as a pizza topping, have at it! Rude manager, laughed and offered to do nothing in return.

Best pizza in Los Alamitos! Would also recommend the meatball sub. This small mom and pop restaurant is run by a friendly staff that is passionate about making great food. If you have a large party I would keep in mind that seating is limited; however they also deliver quickly.

This place not only has delicious pizza(the best ever) but it’s also a place that’s really special to me. I’ve been coming here for years with my girlfriends, a tradition that has lasted since high school. The owner is always so kind and the service is amazing! The pizza is so yummy and filling, no other pizza ever compares! Valentino’s will always be my absolute favorite!

I’ve lived right around the corner for years but never tried it. Boy was I missing out. Friendly fast service and GREAT pizza, tangy sauce, and stretchy crust. It has been hard to find classic pizza that corporate chains haven’t ruined. I have finally found real pizza at a great price to boot. Can’t wait to go back soon.

Valentino’s is a great place not just because of the food but because of the service. Going to Valentino’s is like going to see your east coast uncle who always wants to show you what real pizza is like. The owner is always super friendly and ready to make you whatever you’d like. Will definately continue to dine there in the future!

Came in with my family. The owner was a very nice man. Pizza was delicous!!! We asked for it on the thin side not to thick and he said no problem. My kids loved it… not sure why the place has negative reviews. The owner seemed to know many of the people that came in and ordered. Would recommend and yes we will come back soon.

It took a while but I have located the worst pizza in southern California: thy name is Valentino’s Pizza. If it wasn’t for the high school kids this place would have gone away long ago.

The owner is mean and the pizza isn’t good. Pizza is never really bad, but this is some of the least-good pizza I’ve had. I remember eating here about a decade ago and seeing a toddler in the back playing with the dough, then seeing them use that dough to make a pizza. That was kind of gross. Papa Joe’s was the best; that’s long gone though. If you’re in the area… Ameci Pizza is better than this. And even better are Ferrarro’s(Wardlow and Los Coyotes) and Pizzamania(Palo Verde & Atherton). Ecco’s is really good too but it’s kind of strange and not for everyone.

So I have a good review and I have a bad review. I’ve ordered from Valentino’s twice. The pizza is good the first time. I ordered the standard large pepperoni pizza. The pizza was good the second time around too… except for the fact that my roommate and I found a hair IN our pizza. Not on top… cooked into the bottom. That didn’t really bother me all that much. Its a mom and pop place and they dont follow strict rules for hair nets or anything. Whatever its cool, we still ate the pizza. The first time I went to pay for my pizza I was charged $ 14 or so for pizza and breadsticks. The guy handed me my receipt and I notice that it says Im getting charged $ 28… uhh what? Anywho, I ask him and he fixes it. I saw that he had put an extra 14 where the tip part goes instead of just letting me write in what I wanted to write. I thought it was an honest mistake. So I returned for pizza a second time hoping that didnt happen again. Yeah…but it did. The second time I didn’t catch it and go to check my bank account and this time Im charged $ 22. First reason why I know it shouldn’t be that high is I definitely ordered less the second time around. Pizza, no breadsticks = Less money. So now I’m here saying just watch what you are getting charged there. I should have called him out on that hair now that I see that I got charged double again. I would have come back again but it was three strikes for me. UPDATE: I’m pretty sure«someone» who works here is making fake accounts to act as a customer who actually likes this place. Not that any other place wouldn’t try to do that. But whats not so nice about that is they send insults messages to people leaving their reviews on Unilocal for Valentino’s. Classy! If you actually look at their account they periodically leave good reviews recommending this place. Sounds a little odd to only support one place and to be insulting customers. Now I definitely don’t recommend this place since they are just full of bad attitudes. Instead of bettering their service, food, and sanitation habits they choose to do something like this and continue to be poor all around.

I came here for a late dinner with some friends. We were greeted and ordered a few pizzas. They also have some drinks in a fridge to choose from. We ordered a pepperoni and a fresh garlic. The sizes are good for the price. The X-Large is $ 10 bucks. The pizzas are thin crust and they tasted fine. There is nothing spectacular about the pizza, but I’ll order more if I’m in the area.
