Best chicken around. The husband and wife work real hard to make their business successful. My hats off to them. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Chicken to everyone.

Drove by Pittsburgh broasted chicken by accident. The mistake that lead to some of the best chicken I’ve had since pioneer chicken was around in the 1980’s. Well seasoned and juicy. If you’re in cypress, do yourself a favor and swing by.

I’m a huge fan of mom & pop shops. This place definitely beats the broasted chicken shop in La Habra. Service is great, prices are fair, and it’s pretty clean when you walk in. It is highly recommend that you call ahead and place your order. This ain’t no KFC and there’s no drive-thru. Look at the menu that’s on their website( ) and call them and order what you want. Expect to wait about 30 minutes and pick your food up. Go home and eat it. Not sure what to order? Order their family pack and get an assorted variety of their flavors and their sides. Have the leftovers for lunch the next day. I love this place and I’ll return again soon!

Chicken was not crispy and oil had old smell to it. Potatoes were dry, but somewhat edible with their spicy ranch, which is basically just ranch with Tabasco, which should be free. Most disgusting coleslaw I have ever tasted.

Found this strip center near the hospital with some interesting shops… what caught my eye was BROASTEDCHICKEN!!! Ordered the 4 piece combo… My goodness. This was REALLYGOOD… Meaning the Meet was tender. moist. and juicy… The skin was out of this world!!! The combo came with a roll. coleslaw. and mojo potatoes… I didn’t really care for the season salt on the potatoes… The Chicken however… was probably one of the best I have ever had… DEFINITELYCOMINGBACKFORMORE!!!

I loved the chicken, it was nicely seasoned, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. The broasted potatoes were good too, great side to the chicken.

I only come here when I crave some real good chicken. When KFC or even other Korean chicken joints like Koko or BBQ won’t suffice. The cajun seasoning is perfect! And you gotta order the spicy ranch dip! You’re missing out in life if you don’t! The only downside to this place is that its kinda far from where I live.

Cool little eatery with a simple menu, fair prices, quick service, and outdoor seating. Broasted or Fried? What is the difference? I would have to say they are extremely similar, though I would say the broasted is way less greasy which is way more appealing to me. I ordered the two piece chicken special, which came with tatters(Think Mojo potatoes, but not greasy at all), roll, and a side of coleslaw. The chicken was super moist & tender, came right of the bone and the crunch of the skin was perfection. The potatoes were good, a bit dried out but I have never left a potato behind. All in all I loved it, and would definitely come back.

Broiled + roasted = broasted. It is a manner of using a pressure cooker to fry chicken basically. In the Pittsburgh Chicken & Subs brochure, it states that their broasted chicken is «40−70% less fat than fried chicken and 44% more moist.» How they came up with those percentages is beyond me, but all I know is Pittsburgh’s chicken is flippin’ good. It is crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked and really tender on the inside. This family-owned, little, hole in the wall has been in Los Alamitos forever. I went to high school in the city this place is located in, so I grew up eating this chicken. It is like fried chicken without the grease comfort food for me. You can get the chicken in original flavor, lemon pepper, cajun or plain. There are lunch and dinner chicken deals or options of just purchasing chicken. You can also just get your chicken flame broiled if that is how you prefer it. There are also seafood options like fried clams and fish and chips and hot and cold sub sandwiches. I have had flame broiled chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Usually, though I get a lunch or dinner special deal with the original broasted chicken. On our last visit we opted for two lunch special deals, the two piece lunch special and five piece lunch special. The lunch specials are available from 11 am to 3 pm. The two piece chicken lunch deal comes two pieces of broasted chicken with their broasted potatoes, roll and choice of one side. Sides include potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw or baked beans. The five piece chicken lunch deal with five pieces of broasted chicken, broasted potatoes and a drink. When you are here, you have to be patient. Chicken is made fresh to order here and that is why it tastes so very good. It takes a good 15 – 20 minutes to get your order. The restaurant is very, very small. There is no seating inside and there is a very small outside patio with four tables covered by umbrellas. Besides parking on the street outside the business, there is also a parking lot in the back of the restaurant. The family who owns this business takes great pride in their broasted chicken. They are very nice. I miss being able to have this chicken regularly since I live in South OC now, but make sure when visiting friends or family in the area, I stop in to get my Pittsburgh broasted chicken fix.

The chicken was tender and flavorful but that was the only good thing about it. It was ok. The flavor wasn’t anything to write home about. I can say I tried it. Next.

Yummy! My friend introduced me to this place about a year ago and I’ve been a fan since! Their chicken is so juicy and tender, seasoning is amazing, and their potato with some ranch sauce is just out of this world! I now evangelize this amazing chicken to my other friends and everyone I took here loved it. Must try! Can get a little crowded during lunch hour since there is a medical center right behind the place. I believe you can call in to make an order. My friend and I always say, «there is someone who haven’t tried Pittsburgh’s chicken yet, but there is no one who only had it once»

This spot is really special. Family owned and operated. The cashier was cute and the service was friendly. Food came out quickly and piping hot. Good lunch special. Good chicken. 2 pc’s, a dinner roll + some tasty sliced potatoes, fried like fries and a roll with choice of cole slaw or beans for under 7 bucks :) So I can’t do the full 5 stars, though I wish I could. The reason is I’m pretty sure that they’re using the same oil to fry the fish as they are to cook their chicken. I can taste a hint of fishiness. Not overwhelming by any means, just a slight hint through the nose when I take a bite and breath out.

My sister and her BF showed me this little hole-in-the-wall place. It looks like it’s owned by a Korean family. The chicken comes in 4 different flavors. I enjoy the lemon-pepper! The potatoes are usually always covered in Cajun powder like red robins. I like it. Both items are crispy! The chicken is crispy, moist and not dry. Feels fried but not as guilty lol The spicy ranch is a must! And I usually order a side of white rice(because I like eating my chicken with rice AND the potatoes lol) Overall, it’s a bit of a drive for me but it’s worth it. The lunch specials are cheap and the service is quick. There is outside seating and they provide you with a bottle of ketchup if you’re staying to eat outside. How nice of them. I’ll definitely be back again and again.

Yum! Yum! Yum! I had been looking at this place for a while, on my way to and fro. I’m glad I had not stopped in before. I would be as big as a house, having returned at least weekly for this delicious chicken. Broasters. That’s what I thought the name of the place was. Broasters is prominently displayed in the front and on the side. That’s what attracted me to the restaurant. I was thinking it was some type of broiled roasted chicken. It’s even better! Is broasted fried chicken! You know that place you’re always feigning? Well I have no real addictions, but I believe I will be feigning this place for a while. It’s juicy, crispy, flavorful, and economical. Why spend $ 8 at McD’s when you can have 5 pieces of chicken, potatoes, and a drink for $ 10? I would hurt myself eating this chicken everyday if it was not so far from my home. I might also hurt myself if it was a dine in restaurant, inviting friends to share in the gluttony. Lastly I might hurt myself if it had any kind of drive thru, to pick up for any potluck, any picnic, or just dinner. The place is so good, I’m going to look into franchising.

Mmmmm Fried Chicken. The meat is super juicy and the fried skin is thin, delicate, and super crispy… not oily at all. Had 4 pieces of chicken and besides feeling happy, I did not feel fat or weighed down afterwards. I didn’t like thw broasted potatoes at all… but who cares… now I just order the chicken and no sides… problem solved!

$ 6.69 for a 2 piece lunch combo with taters and a dinner roll plus a side item baked beans. I get it with NOSEASONING, it still taste delicious! Price increase since I’ve been here the last time. «inflation» might be the cause of this. Also, I’ve noticed the pieces of chicken have«SHRUNK», but the prices have gone up. Not a good sign. Again, yummy food for the tummy. Would recommend if you are in the area.
