So if you enjoy gambling this place might be the ticket. What do I mean you say… well every single time I’ve gone I’ve had completely different experiences. 1st time: I had the chiliquilies which were freaking awesome. My lovely wife had the challah french toast which she was super impressed with as well. We got their pretty early so we didn’t experience any long wait to get a table. The staff was super friendly and prompt with our check and refilling our drinks. We were pretty stoked to have dound such a great breakfast place. Rating: 5 stars I felt the quality was well worth the price. 2nd time: My wife and I both ordered a pasta dish for dinner one night and I picked it up to go. It was so unmemorable I can’t even remember what it was. I know my wife got a fettucine alfredo of some sort. It seemed like the alfredo dish was microwaved vice made to order since the sauce was seperated. Rating:1.5−2 stars… I would have sworn I went to a completely different restaurant. 3rd time: So I felt I learned my lesson about this place, only go for breakfast, which is fine by me because that seems to be the hardest good meal to find in western ma. This time I got the special which was a eggs benedict with a jalapeño hollandaise. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the sauce was incredible, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. Jessica got a shortstack of pancakes with apples, maple syrup, whipped cream, and pecans. 1st off the whipped cream was melted, the pancakes barely warm and they took it upon themselves to add strawberries to the pancakes even though that wasn’t on the menu nor was it asked for. The strawberries weren’t even fresh they seemed like they were frozen and it really didn’t go with the other ingredients in the pancakes. We also both ordered a side of bacon… who doesn’t love bacon right. This was the saddest bacon I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I took one little nible and sent both orders back, I’m not sure why the cook or the waitress thought this bacon was good enough to go out to the customer, you could tell by looking at it that it wasn’t right. Rating: I would give it a 4, my main dish was awesome. Jessica would give it a 2, her meal really didn’t have a saving grace. Bottom line I would go here for breakfast again, but it certainly isn’t guaranteed to be a good meal, it could really go either way. Also their coffee selection sucks.

My favorite breakfast place in town. If you go on a weekend you will wait for a table, but it’s worth it. The food is excellent every time I go and they always have great specials so make sure you check them out before you order. Food is always fresh, flavorful & even nicely plated. Yum

I have to give them a 1 for their rude staff. Is this a Jersey diner??? It seems the owner and the staff does not respect their patrons. The fish stinks from the head. We will not solicit any business where their service is rough and again rude.

I can see by other reviews that some people have had not so nice experiences; however this has never been the case for me. I’ve been here probably about a half dozen times and the only«complaints» I could give are that sometimes there is a long wait for breakfast(completely attributed to how many people are eating there and nothing to do with the staff who turn the tables amazingly fast after a patron leaves) and that it gets noisy in there when crowded. So really, if the two worst things I can say revolve around the fact that a lot of people enjoy eating there, then I think we have a winner. I enjoy trying their specials and seeing what interesting combinations they have come up with. Portions are ENORMOUS. Hubby likes the lox/bagel and I really enjoy their selection of Benedicts. The yogurt/fruit/granola dish is also amazing and I started making a hybrid of it at home after trying it there.

Had the oatmeal with granola, honey and fruit. Portion was too big but what really stood out was the unfriendly service. Couldn’t recommend this place.

I’ve been here a few times for breakfast, and their food is amazing! Bonus points for serving breakfast until 2 pm each day. The food is on the pricey side, but everything is made from scratch and the portions are more than ample. My «short stack» of french toast would easily feed 2 adults. I don’t know how 1 person could eat 4 giant pieces of french toast(made with homemade challah bread no less). The one draw back to this restaurant is that it is TINY. Very few tables, so come at an offpeak time or be prepared to wait for a bit. If you’re hungry for a big breakfast and looking for a good place to go, this is it!

Had breakfast here last weekend and it did not disappoint. Everything on the menu looked great. We ordered the pumpkin filled challah french toast with berries & whipped cream, and the veggie omelet special. Both of them were delish but the french toast is a must have! My BF’s brother ordered the banana pancakes with caramel bits topped with caramelized apples — it looked amazing but sadly, I did not try it. But definitely next time! Will go again next time we’re up this way.

The food was pretty good but not good enough ya rave about after an hour wait for it to come to us after we had been seated. I was in western Mass this weekend visiting my boyfriend and we decided to meet up with my brother and his girlfriend. We chose three café because it was a good mid point between us and the majority of reviews on here are great. There was a wait to be seated which I usually take as a good sign since it was so busy. Once we were seated we ordered coffee, one of our cups had a shit load of coffee grounds in it and they didn’t even take it off of our check even though we sent it back and didn’t ask for a replacement. A table was seated after us and it was the owners, the woman made it very clear who she was and the girl with them kept going behind the counter. I have worked in the industry for 10 years and never have I been so appalled at the selfishness of a restaurant owner. They clearly had the staff making sure they got the biggest coffee cups and their food immediately which cause other customers to suffer. Once we finally ordered after a half hour of sitting it took our food another 40 minutes or so to come out, meanwhile the owners who were seated behind us had eaten and already left even though they were seated a good 15 minutes after us. The food was good and very filling, but the other mishaps that occurred while dining here were just too horrendous. I will never be going back here again and definitely don’t recommend it. The food just was not good enough to make up for all the other bull shit. I feel bad for the waitress who served us, I don’t blame her at all. She was busting her ass and clearly has clueless and selfish employers who have no idea how to run a restaurant.

I have been a huge fan of this place since it was in Springfield… and the line used to go on forever at their tiny old location. The food is so phenomenal. I’ve only had breakfast meals, but everything I’ve had is beyond stellar. I don’t even know how it is possible to make eggs and pancakes taste this good. They use a lot of ‘organic’ and local stuff, which I don’t care about, but their food is definitely made very very well. They have lots of gluten free options as well.

Arrived for a nice Sunday brunch at 2:15, only to find that our only options were from the dinner menu, which means items from La Cucina, not Three Café — i.e., pastas, pizzas, calzones. We were the only people in the place, yet they were absolutely inflexible, refusing to accommodate our desire for brunch. Then they were surprised we left without ordering. Sorry, but 2:15 in the afternoon is way too early for dinner. It is, however, ideal for brunch. Especially on a Sunday. Even more so during Spring Break.

Longmeadow really needed a good breakfast/brunch place(I was never a big fan of the Friendlys over at the Shops) so when I heard about 3 Café from a friend, I was ecstatic. And let me tell you, this place is the BOMB! I love it! I would go every morning if I could. Not only is the food good but they serve breakfast until 2pm! The menu never gets old because they have new and yummy specials every week. Food I’ve had the Chiliquiles(a hearty omelette packed with Mexican flair — beans, salsa, chorizo, sliced avocados), the Alaskan Smoked Salmon(served on a bagel with cream cheese and capers), Pumpkin Pancakes(2 humongo thick and fluffy pancakes topped with walnuts and powdered sugar), Apple Maple Syrup pancakes, and French Toast. Everything is AMAZING. You can’t go wrong here, everything on the menu is delicioso. My only qualms are that the breakfast potatoes lack flavor(I had to put a lot of salt and ketchup on mine) and that the bill usually comes out to $ 30 something for 2 people. That’s $ 15/head for breakfast. But with the amount of food they put on your plate along with how amazingly delicious it is, I don’t mind paying a little extra. I believe most of what they use for ingredients is ORGANIC and LOCALLYGROWN(support for the local farmers!). So the food is not only tasty, but good quality stuff as well. Drinks When you order coffee, you get unlimited refills. That’s a definite plus! And their homemade hot chocolate topped with a heaping pile of rich whipped cream is excellent as well. Service Service is ok. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly enough. No complaints in this department. Bottom Line: Give this place a try if you’re ever in the area. You won’t regret it!

It is a wonderful little café in the center of a small suburban town. The décor is quant, the tables do feel a little too close together. The menu is full of wonderful breakfast foods which are served most the day, The sandwiches are fresh and more upscale then the average sandwich shop. The specials boards over the counter are full of wonderful options. The only real criticism is that the restaurant is understaffed. Each time I have been there the wait is long before you put in an order. This seems to be a reflection of needing more wait staff. It is a little pricey but well worth it I a happy to recommend The Three Café.

This place is packed! I would say about 15 people decided not to wait in line and leave. There are not many tables inside and service is a bit slow because it is so busy. I ordered the full size Challah French toast. Way too much food. The French toast would have been better had it actually soaked for awhile. It was 80% plain bread. My wife ordered the mexican eggs Benedict. That was good. Not much in ambiance or atmosphere and a decent breakfast overall.

Great breakfast spot near Six Flags. We ordered the Banola pancakes and Tuscan Eggs Benedict. Everything was awesome. Also they have huge portions. A half order of pancakes is one huge pancake the size of a small plate.

So have to update my review based on my breakfast this morning… When 3 was in Springfield, it was a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch. Sure, quarters were a little cramped, but, the food was stellar, the portions were out of this world and no one was throwing your check on the table before you were even done eating. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Since the move to Longmeadow, your 2 pancakes are now one, your bacon isn’t even cooked and heaven forbid you want to finish your coffee before the check is thrown on your table!!! Oh and $ 8.95 for 2 pancakes and $ 2 for coffee is now $ 16.95… Half the portion, double the price. Thanks for nothing Longmeadow!

What a great little café! We were looking for a delicious breakfast while on a trip through Western Mass. and this is what came up as a win near us on Unilocal,so off we went. I liked this place from the moment I walk in. Cute little café with some great artwork on the walls and comfortable seats and tables. Everything was a little cramped together(we actually had to change tables as we kept hitting the people behind us), but it was OK. Once we moved, it was perfect. And the food! My god, the food. Giant portions of either breakfast or lunch. I got the chicken salad and it was delicious. My girlfriend got the pancakes and they were so big she couldn’t finish them … even with my help. And cheap too. Win all around. Plus, neat name. Like that too. It is very small and I can see it easily getting crowded on a Sunday morning or popular time like that. We had none of that though. We walked in, were served, ate a delicious meal and walked out happy.
