Always a great atmosphere. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. The Luxe Oysters are to die for. Rhode Island style Calamari was scrumptious. The drinks are always well made. You can taste the flavors of alcohol but not over kill. Will go again and again…

Just had lunch here today .1st time but definitely not my last! I ordered the blackened mahi and my companion ordered the Mac n cheese! We both were left waiting more! For dessert lemoncello cake and vanilla bean Crete brûlée again amazing. Our waiter Taylor was friendly and efficient. Excellent all the way around!

One of the best meals I have had out in a long time! The white bean and oil dip with bread was incredible; calamari was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Had oysters from the raw bar, they were fresh and had a perfect texture. The baked fish over mashed potatoes with side salad was good, husband liked his chicken blta and loved the roasted potatoes that came with it. We were too full for desserts but I am sure they are just as amazing as everything else. Top notch service and nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

We had Joanne as a waitress and she was fantastic! Not only did she explain each dish and the ingredients in it, but she was very thorough and helpful with the menu. Even though the restaurant was packed, she still gave us as her undivided time and attention. She was a pleasure to have and the food was amazing! This was our first time here and boy did it leave a long lasting impression! We will be back soon for some more delicious food!

So we’ve been here a bunch since my initial review. Very consistent and very personable. Just all around a very well run restaurant. Big shout out to Jordyn our server tonight. Great job and made our anniversary special

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Center Square Grille. Had a French onion soup for appetizer which was amazing. My friends had both the calamari and truffle fries and devoured the entire course, to the last crumb. The wait staff was genuinely pleasant and friendly. My one caveat was the extreme wait time for our main courses. We waited an additional 45 – 50 minutes after we received our appetizers. But it was well worth the wait and we filled the time with great conversation and watching other people’s meals go by(lol). The aesthetic of the restaurant is also worth some star-age. The friend who I was visiting who is a local to the area said she’d come again, and maybe we will too upon our next visit.

I really want to give this place 5 stars, I really do. But my experience there won’t let me. When we first arrived, it was packed and we didn’t have reservations and were told it would be a 30 minute wait– no big deal, I expected that for not having made reservations. After 40 minutes we asked how much longer it would be and they told us about 15 – 20. We were seated in less time than 15 which was great because by then we were starving. Nachos were amazing. But then came my side salad… half way through the salad I noticed a reasonably sized dead moth on my plate. I was a little shocked. One reason being I had already eaten half without noticing and the other reason being that the nachos and atmosphere had made such a good impression on me, that I was a little upset that this had to be the thing to put a damper on my experience. After notifying management, she apologized and they gave me a new salad but I wasn’t interested. Entrée was delicious. Braised short ribs with truffle oil and pasta. Crème brûlée was outstanding. I was a little shocked they didn’t comp anything though, seeing as there was a bug in the food. After asking about it, mainly because myself and my friend had both worked in food service so long we know that if anything of that nature is ever found in someone’s food– it’s comped. The manager quickly fixed it. I will be going back though… I just hope they pay a little more attention to what is on the plate before they send it out next time!

I would recommend Center Square Grill to anyone looking for a nice place to eat dinner. I went with a few of my girlfriends around 7 on a Friday night, we knew would have to wait. One of my girlfriends was on crutches and the staff(even the other guests) were so courteous and very accommodating. The food was amazing, and the Drinks were just as great. I will definitely be back.

I have driven past this place for months, listened to people rave about it, and I finally made it in for dinner, and I’m so glad I did! We went around 6 pm, so it was pretty busy and we expected to have to wait a little. They told us it’d be about 30 minutes, so we headed to the bar to quench our thirst while we waited. My friend had the sangria, and I had my own cocktail creation. The sangria was as refreshing and delicious as you’d expect it to be, and I was THRILLED to see that they carry V-one vodka, because it’s my favorite. Prices were standard as far as most restaurant cocktails go. After only about 15 minutes of waiting, the hostess found us to let us know that our table was ready. We were seated in the cozy dining room at a(very spacious) table for 2. It took us quite some time to agree on an appetizer, because they all looked so delicious, but our waiter was very patient and did not make us feel rushed. We settled on the calamari, half regular and half spicy. Oh my goodness, was it good. I’d say it’s probably the best calamari I’ve ever had. They also served us some bread with a garlic hummus dipping sauce, which was also quite tasty. For my entrée I went with the filet mignon with their marsala mushroom sauce. My friend had one of their seafood specials. Both came out promptly and piping hot. My steak was cooked perfectly and it was quite tasty, although not the most tender filet I’ve had. The marsala was decent. Again, not the best marsala I’ve had, but overall I was pleased. My friend said she loved her meal, and couldn’t wait to have her leftovers today. It’s safe to say we both left very full and happy, and I’m looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu items! It’s great to have such a wonderful restaurant in my hometown!

The atmosphere was nice. The food was good, not great. I had pizza $ 16(was not a fan of the crust) and my boyfriend had the salmon $ 10 Sunday special. The drinks were ridiculously overpriced for how weak they were, $ 10 for a martini that tasted like juice. I had a $ 10 off taste card(10 off 40) but couldn’t use it because my boyfriend had the salmon special, which I thought was a little strange. Also free bread is given at the beginning of the meal with what we found out later was a white bean hummus. Again, it was ok. Our friends liked it but I didn’t. Highlight of the night was the truffle fries. YUM! Service was great. I’m glad we tried it but I probably wont go back.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times now and I have been happy with each visit. It’s location is pretty easy to find. I have gone with friends and my husband on my visits so I can’t offer any child-centric reviews. To start, the restaurant is pretty attractive. It definitely looks like effort was put into the decorating. The service is pretty good. had one visit where the service was just terrible, but I try not to let things like that ruin my meals. For an appetizer I almost always get the deviled eggs. love deviled eggs and they are not on any other menu I’ve seen before. They are good. They could add a bit more spice to it but It’s still pretty tasty. My friends always get a cheese tower type of thing and they always demolish the whole thing. For dinner I always get the jamacian jerk chicken dish. I really enjoy the flavor. It could be a bit hotter spice wise, but it’s good enough to get me to order it again and again. It’s pretty cool that you can kind of make your own dinner. They give you a list of meats, sauces, and side dishes and you can go to town. This is the option my husband always goes with and he’s

Best place I have been to in a long time! I would recommend calling for reservations! Best French onion soup! I had the scallops and risotto, my husband had the bone in filet… My daughter had the linguine and meatballs which were out of this world… For dessert we had the lemon cake which was to die for! Cannot wait to go back!

A friend and I had dinner here last night for NYE. Our friends’ band was playing. It was very busy but we had an excellent time. We ordered drinks which were delicious. We shared an order of the RI style calamari which was tasty. For dinner I ordered the scallops and they were incredible! So flavorful and cooked perfectly. My meal came with a salad and we had bread at the table as well. The bread was good but they serve it with a white bean purée that’s pretty gross. What’s wrong with butter? My friend had a pizza with Brussels sprouts and bacon. Tasty but the crust was overdone. For dessert we had the limoncello cake which was amazing. We also tried the chocolate cake which was good but the limoncello stole the show. Our waitress, Ali, was awesome. So friendly and attentive! They had a complimentary champagne toast at midnight and quite a celebration! They lose a star because there was this drunken fool there who I guess knows the owners. They let him run around and bother everyone. He was grabbing women(myself included), spilling his drinks everywhere and climbing into people’s booths. He was a disaster and should have been thrown out but they let him stay and kept serving him! It was disgusting.

We 3 stopped in for the $ 10 Sunday Salmon. The food was great, our vegetables(roasted turnips, carrots, broccolini) were delicious! Our waitress, Sarah, a college student from Syracuse, was absolutely upbeat, enthusiastic, prompt, and excellent! Our experience was much better than this same restaurant’s steak night… perhaps it was our server! We will be back!

I’ve been here a few times with large groups and they are amazing. They are super helpful and very accommodating. The wait staff is quick and courteous. The food is also very good. The lamb is delicious. I also want to add, my son had a surprise engagement dinner for his fiancé and they went above and beyond in making it a special night!

I have been here 3 times now since it changed owners/name and each meal was wonderful. A very interesting menu and also nightly specials. Everyone I was there with really enjoyed their meals as well. Service was prompt and pleasant. We had reservations this last time and were seated promptly. We were there on A wednesday and were pleasantly surprised to learn our wine bottle was half price with dinner. The time before we went on a Tuesday night without reservations. We waited a long time to be seated as Tuesday is half price burger night. So be forwarned and call for reservations. I don’t know if there are different specials like this for every night, but it’s a fun concept that I support. We will be back!

I realllly wanted to give this place four stars, but I’ll tell you why I didn’t: the drinks. They were just weak. Next time I go(and yes, I will go again), I’m getting either a beer or wine(something with stable alcohol content) because the mixed drinks were just weak and not worth the money. Okay — so the food. It was good! The calamari Rhode Island style is delicious. I got the brussel sprout and bacon pizza and it was pretty tasty. I’d order it again, but my friend’s rigatoni was way better. I’m opting for pasta next time around.

I remember being impressed at the soft launch of CSG back in May of last year and felt this was a restaurant with tremendous upside potential. Thank goodness Michael and Bill, the owners, recognized that East Longmeadow didn’t need another also run Italian restaurant venue; they departed from the conventional to create an imaginative diverse eclectic style menu coupled with a relaxed bistro style dining experience which they have managed to improved upon since the opening. Between management and a very talented kitchen staff, they have noticeably tweaked the menu and that in my opinion has made all the difference. The result of that is the Truffle Short Ribs and Pappadelle with wild mushrooms, fresh herbs and short ribs tossed in a truffle cream sauce, a dish you simply do not want to miss! My dining experience has gone from 4 to 5 stars, this place has the momentum, talent and brings to the area some of the best refreshingly new innovative culinary dining fair with real value in a very competitive environment.

Stopped in for lunch. Flavor was good. Portion size small. Server and hostess were distracted. A salad and sandwich ended up costing $ 30+ Asked for steak on the salad for an additional $ 7… Got a piece of steak about 3“X1“x1.5″ sliced. Table and silverware were dirty… Basically an upscale Denny’s Wish it was better. I have tried them a couple of times, won’t be going back.

We normally go out for dinner on Friday nights, as a family. We decided to try this spot out. We have been here for lunch before, just not dinner. My husband used his handy Unilocal app to make reservations. It was really sweet, it also sent notifications as a reminder of the reservations. We arrived 15 minutes early, because we decided to head straight there after picking my son up from daycare. The hostess had no issues with our early arrival and simply stated that she already had our table ready. Score! She took us into a room off the side of the entrance and sat us booth. Another win, my son loves booths. The decorations they had up for the holiday was very tasteful. The table they had on the side of the entry was very welcoming, it gave us a homely feel. The waitress was quick to greet us and was on the ball with getting our orders going. She brought the bread and dip immediately. I have to say that I absolutely love their dip. The hummus is crazy good! We destroyed it and she asked if we were interested in having more, how nice! We kindly declined. She was even kind enough to ask us when we wanted our sons’ food out. We got our drinks first, which were specialty cocktails, I had the mule and my husband got the cider. They were both okay, not something I would get again. I honestly thought to myself, I should have stuck with wine, my usual. We started off with the nachos. I though it was okay, not enough cheese and the meat was on the dry side. With that said, my husband thought it was delicious. I ordered the jumbo shrimp with a side of curry habenero sauce with baked potatoes and steak mushrooms. It was delicious! Aside from the sauce, it was more on the sweet side; I tasted the curry, but not much of the habenero at all. I was looking forward to a kick in my meal. I didn’t dip my shrimp in at after I tried it once… I can tell you this; they do not skimp on their sides! My husband got the pecan salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus. He said his meal was splendid. My son got spaghetti and meatball. He ate some of it and we wrapped the rest to go. We thought he might want it later. But when we got home and opened it up, it didn’t smell very good to us, so we ended up tossing it. He also threw up all night, not sure if it was the food or not. Overall, we had a great experience, aside from our son getting sick. Would we come again? Totally, we will probably order him something else next time and stay away from the spaghetti.

Hmm… not sure what to think of this place. All of the food I had was fine. Absolutely nothing special. Our large party started with the brisket nachos. The lack of anything resembling real cheese left me a little grossed out by the whole thing. The calamari was good. For my entrée, I got the pecan crusted salmon. It was overly sweet with barely there pecans. On the side were some ok garlic green beans(also with a cloyingly sweet sauce) and some garlic mashed potatoes that were fine albeit a little cold. Our server was nice and attentive, but if it’s possible to be TOO chipper and accommodating, she was. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, but she was definitely all up in our business. This menu had the affliction that a lot of restaurants have. It was so all over the place that I didn’t really trust that anything was great. It appeared their Italian entrees may have been the way to go, but with a name like Center Square Grill, I wasn’t so sure. In conclusion, fine food, fine service but I won’t be rushing back.
