Wow…10 minutes sitting here completely ignored. First 5 minutes not an employee in the room! Next 5 minutes, watched as the bartender seated a group that came in after us and some guy’s lottery tickets. Gets done there and still no acknowledgement. We walked out and won’t be back.

Went about quarter after seven on a Sunday. Was pushed into the late night menu was I was expecting something hearty for me and my Mrs. Service was nice, management put her in a bad spot. Portions and taste was bad. Signs all point to a restaurant on the way out.

Well, now with a few visits under my belt its worth a Unilocal. This is a dining establishment that is well suited for EL. It looks better than it really is. The staff has always been pleasant and if that’s all it took this place would be wonderful. Mixed bag when it comes to both food and beer selection. They want to have a ton of both, but none of them really seem to come together. One thing that we really liked were the sides, we brought our 2 year old daughter for dinner. Instead of ordering from the kids meals, order the sides. She loved the bacon cous-cous as well as the red pepper risotto. Yes they won’t come with a drink, but for a dollar less my child can stick with water for a more interesting dinner than grilled cheese. For the adults, everything seems to be fine and that’s about it. We’ll stop now and again, but it won’t be on the regular rotation at this point.

Choice of beer is interesting yet no need to go there for the ahi tuna tacos or The Dubliner burger unless you like well done even if you asked for medium rare and don’t care whether the tuna has any flavor at all… Was there for lunch so hopefully the chef wasn’t in yet and my meal was the sous chef outcome. I’ll go back for the decoration and a beer not the food.

We’ve being there a few times. Place is ok, nothing remarkable. Good place to have a few drinks, martinis are good, food is decent, my favorite is the pulled pork. Service could be better. Sometimes they are under-staffed so it takes a while to get a drink if you are seating at the tables.

Great food! We had five people and ordered pasta, pizza, a sandwich, sliders, and a salad– they were all excellent! Our server was also friendly and attentive. Fantastic experience.

Been here several times… mid week diinner, lunch and on a weekend too. Good service, food very good. Reasonably priced too. I’ve had the shaved steak sandwich with horseradish sauce and also the buffalo chicken sandwich. Excellent place… We’ll be back again and again. Highly recommended!!!

One of my favorite spots to grab a beer. The have a ton on tap and rotate the selection. They try to coordinate their selection to the season — heavier beers in the winter, fruity ones in the spring lighter/IPAs in the summer and harvest/Octoberfest in the fall. The food is also great. Try the potato nacho appetizer is great! Try the burgers too. There’s a lot of choices and I don’t think I’ve tried something that I didn’t like. The service is generally good but have had a couple of bad experiences. One of which was absolutely horrible. The bartenders are usually quick and very nice. Overall the beer selection and food are at least a 3 ½ but I rounded up because it’s a nice local pace where the staff is generally friendly. Give it a try, especially if you appreciate a vast beer selection and hometown feel…

Tried Bentley’s for lunch with friends. The interior was airy, open & pretty cool looking. Nice bar with tvs & lots of tables & booths all around. When you walk in, there’s a hostess station but no hostess. A couple of people were at the bar & a couple of tables were occupied. No waitress in sight so we asked the bartender about seating. If we didn’t ask, we would probably still be standing there. Grabbed seats with views of the tvs. Waitress(only one working) brought out menus… lots of sandwiches, burgers, salads… no appetizers on the lunch menu. You have to ask for the dinner menu. So all the reviews that comment on slow service are accurate. It was almost funny. For example… we order beers, waitress gives order to bartender who pours order after few minutes, puts them on tray & there they sit… waitress has disappeared out back, bartender is playing keno with couple at bar… I’m not getting my beer anytime soon. We ordered a couple of rounds, appetizers & sandwiches. We were there forevvvvvver… which was okay this time given all the catching up we had to do. Food wise… chicken wings were very good. Hot, crispy, juicy, nice BBQ sauce. Buffalo chicken sandwich was also good with some good fries on the side. Steak & cheese style sandwich was lacking in flavor & just not good. Burger was average & bland. Bentley’s seems to have chicken figured out but needs some work in the rest of the menu. Three stars for the location, interior design, beer menu & menu potential. But, service will kill this place. It’s close enough to be a spot I visit regularly but definitely not welcoming enough to make me do so.

I read the reviews that all spoke of poor service. They were from last summer and fall. We did not experience those issues so many months later. I don’t know if this is because it wasn’t too crowded on a Sunday. But our service was fine. There were 5 of us and we ordered a lot of food! Sugar shack shrimp with edame and pineapple was really good and there was plenty for sharing. Fried Camembert with honey mustard was also delicious and also plenty for sharing. California chop salad was enough for predinner and left overs for lunch. Just the Chicken artichoke flat bread pizza was a disappointment. I found it to be dry. Everyone else was happy with their meals too. Large selection of drinks and able to do martini sampler which is fun. One mojito was poorly made, but promptly remade when asked. So overall a good experience and we would go again.

Bentley’s is one of my go-to’s for drinks and food at the bar. They have an amazing draft beer selection which is always changing and I love that. They always have plenty of different and new beers. As for food– really good. The hay nachos are amazing! Shredded fried potatoes layered with beef, corn, jalapeños, sour cream. yum! I also am a huge fan of their salmon sandwich that comes with guacamole and bacon. The mussels appetizer is huge and tastes great. The service at the bar is sometimes a little off especially when it’s busy– its almost impossible to get a drink but other than that I love this place!
