The sole reason for this review is to compliment an employee. Luke, is phenomenal. He is completely dedicated to customer service and it is very apparent that he truly cares about serving customers in his store. Luke is a shining example that you don’t have to go to a five star restaurant to get great service. Keep it up kid. You’re going places!

I have honestly never had a more terrible burger. This meal was so bad, I’m reviewing it. I’ve never done that before. Let’s start with the«seasoned fries». There was two or three dots of seasoning on the whole lot of them. To the burger, the mushroom burger. With dry uncooked mushrooms, not sautéed, not seasoned, nothing. Then the bun, the soaking wet fall apart in your hands bun that stuck to the roof of your mouth. Not really appetizing. To say the least. Anyway, first and last time I’ve ever eaten SmashBurger.

The burgers are great but the smash fries area amazing. The thinnest fries I’ve ever seen and rolled in rosemary oil. A taste sensation. I wish I had saved room for a malt which they make by hand but I will definitely get one next time.

Amazing! There were Smashburgers in Ohio, and I’m not quite sure why we never went to one. Whatever the reason, glad we went to the one here! I got the truffle mushroom and swiss burger. SOGOOD. Very flavorful, cooked just right. It was so good that, even though there were lots of great burgers on the menu, I can’t imagine getting anything else. I got the garlic rosemary sweet potato fries and they were good, but I think next time I might opt for normal sweet potato fries or maybe regular fries. We got a birthday cake milkshake and it was also delicious! Chunks of cookie, delicious. I was a huge fan. Would definitely get next time(hoping it’s not limited availability!) My boyfriend got a burger with jalapenos on it. Not sure what it was, but it was spicy! He liked it, but it upset his stomach a bit. He said it was good, so he’s willing to come back, but he’d get something else. Glad we live relatively close — I’m sure Smashburger will be a staple for us!

One of my favorite burger joints. Great service and great food. Try the Colorado, it’s a nice medium spicy burger.

I bring my elderly friend here about twice a month after I take her to bingo. She loves cheeseburgers and this has become her favorite. We’ve tried Larkburger, Johnny Macs, Gunther Toodys in between and Smashburger always comes out on top and we go back. The Colorado with no bun is my favorite… but I’ve never tried anything else. That one always jumps out at me from the menu. Since I’m trying to eat healthier, I appreciate both the salads and Veggie Frites being available in lieu of my beloved french fries. I wish Smashburger overall would come up with a loyalty program!

I don’t like Smash Burger. I don’t like it because the burgers are too crispy and you can’t get to the middle. Also, the restraunt is steamy and foggy so you can’t see. I don’t like Smash Burger.

Great food at a reasonable price. Kids meals are overpriced but do come with a drink. I love the avocado bacon burger. Yum. Not a formal place – more like Noodles & Co.

Good but not great. The burgers are not bad, but the combinations are odd and they skimp on the fixings. Larkburger is definitely better(albeit a little more greasy). I want to like this joint because they tend to be locally owned and the owners get screwed over by the franchisor, but the product is just okay.

Wonderful place. Have always had great food here. I usually get the Spicy Cobb Salad and Smash fries but today I tried the Buffalo Blue Chicken Sandwich and it was fantastic! Today I came in forgetting my wallet(I walked because my car battery had died outside of work) and Danielle the store manager comped the meal for me! Love the clean and friendly environment. Will be back many more times.

I liked my Colorado Burger. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the smash fries because I love Rosemary. If you like herbs on your fries, order the Smashfries.

Smashburger is good as ****, but WAY Overpriced. $ 6.00 for a plain cheeseburger? Honestly though, I think it’s a little much but still the food is amazing for fast-casual dining.

My wife and I tried Smashburger because they offer gluten-free buns from Udi’s. Unfortunately the meat quality there was so poor I couldn’t even finish my sandwich! My chicken breast was more grizzle than meat, so much so that I could not even separate one bite from another and had to eat with knife and fork. About 3 bites in I just gave up all together. The staff there was very nice and helpful, it’s to bad that they work for a restaurant chain that clearly purchases there meat products from large factory farmed suppliers. If I am wrong I would love to hear their rebuttal, and a clear and honest list of their food suppliers. For now we will choose Lark Burger the better choice for quality and peace of mind!

Not the best Smashburger I have been to, but still good. I like the classic burger, but the smash chicken is so good. Not sure how they get the chicken so smashed, but it is great this way. Go with the onion straws instead of fries. If you go with fries, I recommend the regular ones, NOT the Smash recipe ones with rosemary. The salads are a great option too. The thing I like least about this place is that I smell like greasy fast food for hours after leaving.

I got the BBQ Bacon chicken sandwich and regular fries. It was pretty good, I think? I have mixed feelings about it. The chicken breast was mostly tasty though I thought maybe slightly undercooked. With a burger, fine, but chicken? I was a little concerned. It was seasoned nicely and the bread, cheese, and onion strings were good. Oh, the bacon was awful. It was like eating a cedar chip from the playground. So tough it was inedible, yet somehow it was also undercooked. I had asked the cashier«If I have you put avocado on the sandwich, will it just wind up being too big and messy?» and she said no, but it was a flippin’ mess. I don’t think it was the avocado’s fault(more the BBQ sauce) but I needed a Silkwood scrubdown after eating that thing. The fries were bland. I like the matchstick cut, definitely, but I didn’t care for the flavor. $ 12+ seemed very high to me. Probably won’t go back very often. UPDATEMARCH2015. I haven’t been back very often, but I went back a few days ago. I had a chicken sandwich with onion strings on the side. They pound the chicken breast so thin and then it’s seared on both sides, it was really pretty flavorless, sort of like a shingle. At least it was cooked thru this time. My real complaint on this visit was with the onion strings. They were sooooooooo salty I couldn’t eat them. When the gal came around asking if everything was ok, I told her about the saltiness. She was very nice and didn’t get her back up at all, but she also didn’t offer me a refund which is always always always what should be done. I’m not a big fan of «here’s a coupon for a free one of the thing you just said you thought was terrible» approach to a bad food encounter with a customer. Oh well.

Place was overwhelmed, they did a good job getting orders taken. Waited over 30 minutes for our food. Don’t like that. Manager refunded my meal, so that is something. Burger is okay, but not worth the wait. The staff was very nice and tried to help. Grill staff needs help!

My kids could not wait for this joint to open, for months we waited. My husband and boys ate there first, husband liked it, could not wait to go back. The kids liked Lark Burger better. My first and last experience was sickening. The velveeta cheese runneth thick among the steamed patty and soggy garnishes. We had ordered ranch dip and received 6 containers of some type of relish. The flash fried veggies were fun, but not with relish dip. I am still angry to this moment that I wasted my evening, and a meal out on a soggy burger. Do not waste your time. drive across Wadsworth and get a dollar burger from Wendys. Same type of meat patty, fresher garnishes, just one dollar and a different bun! Enjoy!
