This is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. Pillows were perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shower is HUGE! Lots of variety with the included breakfast. I didn’t really use any of the other amenities because I arrived late and left early. My only issues are paying for a parking spot(the room is pricey enough I don’t think you need to charge $ 7/day to park) and not being told that the doors were locked at 10pm(not really a big deal, but it would have been nice to know in advance).

Fantastic newer hotel with great customer service and nice accommodations. The rooms here are all suites. A continental breakfast is included, on weekends. There is a really impressive courtyard area which has a basketball court, tennis court, fire pit, bbq grills and tables. Very fun area to utilize. The area is safe and a quick walk to Clinton Avenue where several small businesses, restuarants, bars and other attractions can be found. Everything is newer and clean. The design is very open and spacious. Homewood Suites — Little Rock is probably one of the largest hotel rooms that I have seen. There is a full kitchen, dishwasher, sink, full size fridge and microwave. There’s also a sofa, which pulls out and small work desk. The area, within the room, itself is quite spacious. Based on my two night stay, this could have almost been a five star review, but there are two small things that just withheld that final star. Firstly, when late checkout was requested, it was denied because too many other people were scheduled to check in on the following day. Absolutely no compromise was given in this request, not even 30 minutes. I don’t recall ever being told no regarding a late check-out request, ever. At the most, a hotel manager has had to prorate our stay due to an extremely late check out, but even then, there was a compromise. Here, I was just told ‘no’. And so, I took it anyway. I left at 12:30 regardless of what the front desk said. Secondly, I’m not sure why I thought this, but I was under the impression that hotels were required to keep guest information confidential. A few hours after our check-in I revisited the front desk in order to add parking($ 7 per day) to our account. What seemed like a simple request turned into a full fledged guessing game and detailed explanation of my family tree. Since I had several other family members with the same last name staying in the hotel, the agent started listing other family members, by name, and explaining that some of their rooms were booked together. I was shocked that the front desk clerk told me several of their names. As the conversation unfolded, I ended up explaining my biological relation to these guest to the genuinely confused clerk. Since I booked my own room, under my own name, we eventually cleared up her confusion after I revealed my room number and I was able to move forward with my parking pass. Overall, excellent accommodations with an ideal location and friendly enough customer service. This area has several hotels and Homewood Suites isn’t necessarily the most obvious choice because it is slightly further away than the ones that are location right on Clinton Ave. However, this is a good solid choice which arguably contend with some of the neighboring hotels.

Location: Initially, I must admit I was a little put off by the location of the hotel. It sits on the edge of a city revitalization project in Little Rock. On one length of the street it sits on, there is new construction and on the other side it seems like there is a lot of older construction. But after staying there it seems like everything was fine. The newer construction in the area includes several restaurants, bars and other eateries which I never got an opportunity to visit. It’s location in the downtown area also makes it easy to get to any part of the city with a rental car. It is within walking distance of a few companies and law firms but there are no major government or other commercial businesses around the hotel. Ambience: The exterior and interior of the hotel’s common areas fit the Homewood Suites brand. Its as very cozy, with a gas fireplace in the lobby’s entryway. Behind the fireplace are a variety of seating areas both indoor and outdoor that make it a great choice for families especially. The seating inside and outside of the hotel is very well appointed. We visited during the winter so none of the outdoor spaces seemed reasonable. But, they did have outdoor seating with a grill and overhang that seemed appropriate for a small barbecue. All of the common areas are trimmed in modern dark woods with neutral color painting on the walls and brushed steel accents. Staff: The staff was very helpful and responsive to requests during the holiday season. The greeting was warm and professional. As an Honors Gold Member, I was given a variety of options for a few extra amenities and told about their environment programs, which I appreciate. Throughout the stay I requested a few items to help with wrapping gifts which the staff brought up to the room with no problem. The breakfast crew kept the dining area free of clutter and clean so there was always a place to sit for the many guests that stay there. And, upon check-out, the process took about 2 minutes. Room: The room is very large and has all of the Homewood Suites amenities such as a full refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven and kitchen sink and basin. The small living room area includes a comfortable sofa with stock furniture and a reasonable working desk. The bed is not as soft as at other Hilton properties I’ve visited but it was still clean and comfortable. As a personal preference, I like the bathroom separate from the bedroom but this property combines them into one. Despite this preference, the bathroom was clean and has all of the basic amenities one would need including an ironing board and iron if you do not bring your own. Drinks/Food: Breakfast is robust. They have a variety of traditional breakfast items including eggs, potatoes and bacon/sausage. But they also have a few of dry options like cereals and some oatmeal. To my knowledge, they do not offer any tailored options like omelettes but you can always cook your own in your kitchen. Overall: The hotel is about as standard as you can get for a Homewood Suites. Since the building is virtually brand new you get the benefit of a clean and unspoiled experience. The staff is the finishing touch for the property as they are very helpful. I would highly recommend this location if you’re staying as a couple or family in the area.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The suites were spacious, well appointed and very clean. In fact, they looked brand new(which they most likely are as this hotel wasn’t here when I last visited). Check in and check out were virtually hassle-free. I didn’t get a chance to try the wi-fi, but it was complimentary. The lobby was well appointed and welcoming. While there was no bar, on weekdays there was a happy hour with beer, wine and a generous selection of food, and there was a huge hot and cold breakfast every morning. The manager and all the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of my visit. Would stay here again.
