Nice ambience… limited wine selection… went on the wine flight Wednesday and had the 5 wine flight. Guys, seriously, if you want to be taken seriously as a wine bar serve each wine in a different glass, I was lucky I got to finish the first before they were pouring the next meager pour into the same glass. Owners/Manager didn’t know anything about the wines on the flight. Was being run more like a frat house than a wine bar. Disappointing experience.

Walked in, sat down, and then walked out. Seems that this was once a nice wine bar, but now the bar stools are damaged and the wine menus are raggedy. The music is loud and headache inducing. It is ~84 degrees out and they don’t have the a/c on… it’s hot! Not a relaxing atmosphere at all.

This is by far one of the hottest spots in the River Market area. This is one place I come to every time I’m in town. I love this bar! The service here is phenomenal. The bartenders are very welcoming and knowledgable. ZIN has a variety of excellent wines. The TRAPICHEMALBEC has become one of my favorites. This bar also has a great selection of beers if wine is not your thing. They have a short list of appetizers. I have had the white bean hummus on several occasions. I also highly recommend the meat and cheese plate(variety of selections), which pair with several of their wines. I also hear they serve soup on Sunday’s and I’m excited to try it. The décor, atmosphere and ambience of ZIN will keep you coming back.

Great atmosphere, affordable wine, and the owners are amazing. I visit the wine bar very time I’m in town. It’s a great way to wrap up a long day, with good company and Great conversations.

It functions fine, location is great for me so I tend to stop in somewhat regularly. For a WINE bar their selection is very slim, rather one note in my opinion. If you are a cab/merlot/Pinot/chard drinker you’ll be satisfied. I would recommend dining elsewhere; the charcuterie they play off as tapas is not worth the $, arrive full and spend on an extra glass of wine.

Was there with my wife and older son for a drink prior to dinner and was hoping for a quiet place to enjoy a drink — was very disappointed. First, the atmosphere was not Zin — it was cold, loud, and in your face! Not the relaxing and laid-back environment we were hoping for — in fact we were almost ready to leave when the«owner/manager/waiter» gave us the menus. I would say the wine/beer offering was extremely limited and(gasp!) no draft beer — what’s the deal with that? is that a state law thing or do they just not think draft beer should be served at a «beer» bar? The menu does have a very limited offering of appetizers, but it’s almost like they went to Costco and served them up! Not what I was expecting and I will not be returning!

Zin was totally chill place — a literal oasis– with great choice of wines. Adam was a great Server and knowledgable about all of the varieties. Started with the Figs and then dove into the Chipotle Chicken Artichoke dip. Both were great but next time I’ll have the Figs second. Sweet enough to serve as a dessert course. Will definitely be back on my next trip to LR.

I had the Big Red flight and enjoyed all 3 selections. The pours were the appropriate size. We also ordered a 3 piece charcuterie plate and the chocolate plate. The cheeses and bread were plenty, but the chocolate plate was lacking. It consisted only of 3 ghirardelli squares cut in to pieces and 2 dried apricots.

One of my favorite places to enjoy a great glass of wine and hang with some friends. If you haven’t yet, give it a try!

A relaxing fun place to relax after a full day. Strongly recommend their flights. Love the big red flight with the chocolate desserts!

Nice reprieve in Little Rock. A sophisticated spot offering good wines, a generous pour and select charcuterie. A rosé on the menu is my gauge and they offered a bone dry selection from the Cote du Rhone. I’ll be back.

Nice atmosphere but smallish wine selection for a wine bar. The ones they do have are ample for my tastes. Wednesday night tastings are a nice change if pace from the typical Little Rock scene. Classy and hip, with a comfortable yet refined clientele. The only improvement this establishment could make is a staff who smiles on occasion!

Wine tasting Wednesday… this week wines from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. How ironic… I’m visiting Little Rock and they are featuring wine from my home state! I was born in the Willamette Valley! Besides all that, great atmosphere, great wine and wonderful people.

I believe in telling the good, bad and ugly… So in that order… Cool little joint and owner is very sociable! Wine and chocolate plate hit a corner but not the(whole) «spot». What would have hit the proverbial spot you ask? If owner, Troy, was more familiar with his wines. And might I add more generous with his wines. Each of us barely got a pour that filled a third of our glasses. To top it off the prices do not suit the portion size. I am a bit of a «foodie» and happily pay for good quality coupled with reasonable portions… Didn’t get that here tonight with the wine or chocolate plate. Actually the latter would be more suited as the chocolate bar… Cut up in fancy little triangles to make it appear more upscale than it actually is. 8 raisins, 5 almonds, 2 dried apricots(and a partridge in a pear tree)… Not worth the price. Definite potential… Heck keep the prices as is but give us our money’s worth…

I really like this place. Swank atmosphere, close to SOMA and downtown. Wine selection is going to cost Zin a star, there’s allot of restaurants with more selection but there’s good choices. Every time I go in it’s pretty empty, I hear it picks up on Weds and late nights.

Close to my apartment. A novel idea, wine bar for young/old professionals to wind down after a hard days work. Ambiance makes you feel like you are in a classy, dim lit bar from the movies. Wine was good, at least the glass or two that I ordered. I also ordered some goat cheese as well as some hummus to munch on. The portion to price ratio of the tapas were quite lame! I would definitely not come on an empty stomach. I would suggest coming here after a meal just for drinks, chit-chat, and tapas. That is all.

One thing to know is I love wine, so how could I not love this place? It has a huge selection of wines by the glass(and bottle) and a very stylish atmosphere. I had ready the reviews that said it was really busy during the week, but we got there at about 5:30 on a Tuesday night and there were only a few other people there. We went with a white wine flight and each had an additional glass. The very generously poured wine flight was great and only $ 12. We got the happy hour house wine white and red and they were also very good. Some of the wines by the glass seemed a little pricey for the place, but I’m sure they are high quality. The only negative is that there is a very limited menu of tapas style items. This is not a place to go if you are hungry, but it is a great after work place, blind date place, start of the night place, or end of he night place. I’m looking forward to coming back for their Wednesday wine tasting.(they also had a sake tasting going on that night, but we had to go, I was disappointed, hope they do it again!) And beer drinkers fear not, there is a nice selection of bottled beer for you too!

I love the stylish setting, quiet atmosphere, smoke-free. It’s a wonderful spot for a drink before or after dinner, and a great place to catch up with friends. Setting is very stylish but not uptight. People were wearing the full-range of garb. Very comfortable and upscale. Will definitely be back more often and recommending to friends.

A very good oasis of wine any day of the week. It is generally quiet on weekends so I would recommend coming here to start your Saturday night or a last glass of wine on Sunday before the work week begins. The interior is urban trendy with couches, bar tables, or a bar. Zin Urban has ~40 wines by the glass to chose from with ~10 select wines by the glass only. Every Wednesday Zin Urban has wine tasting events($ 15). If you’re looking to try something new but don’t want to buy an entire bottle, these events are good. Also Zin Urban has wine flights($ 15 for three different wines) and some good appetizers. I’ve had the white bean hummus($ 4.50) and stuffed figs($ 7.50). Zin Urban has platters of meats and cheeses but I have not tried these so I can’t comment on how good or bad they are; however, as with everything else with Zin Urban, I expect the platters are great. I would highly recommend Zin Urban has a «get to know you» date spot as it is not too noisy and the music sets the right mood. This is also a good place just to hang with friends. There are only two complaints I have. The first is parking. Since Zin Urban is in the River Market area, there is not a lot of street parking. I would suggest the parking garage nearby, otherwise you be driving around for a while. My second complaint is no patio area. Due its location, a patio is not an option. Overall I love this place and it is one of my favorites in Little Rock.

Best wine bar ever. A model of what they could be. And T-riffic food. The ham and bean soup was awesome. If you’re lucky, Nicole will serve and advise. Submit and enjoy.
