The food here is probably as close to mexico as you are going to get while in Atlanta. I love the tacos and the price is very reasonable. Burritos and quesadillas are a must have! Aguas frescas with free refills and a salsa bar with home made salas made daily! You can’t go wrong with this place!

Very hit and miss. I find the late night has better food. Tonight was bland and cold. Disappointed.

Been going to Don Pedro for 6 years, this location for 4. Best, fast Mexican restaurant around. Tacos are amazing with those perfectly toasted tortillas. The burrito is STUFFED with nothing but goodness. Wanna add some spice to your food? Get the red sauce from the sauce bar. Love this place

What can I say, we eat here for lunch almost daily. Great price, great Tacos! The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick and fresh. In fact we eat here so much that the girl at the counter asks if I want the«usual». My usual is 4 tacos de asada and a coke. I have had the tostada de cameron and the burrito and the surf and turf. Never had a bad meal. I leave happy and looking forward to tomorrows lunch.

Awesome tacos at any one of their establishments. Carne asada is goid too. So are the huevos rancheros. I have been here over 20 times. It is my go to taco place. Their pastor tacos are not exactly traditional because they aren’t burnt and crispy on the outside. But they are good.

I’ve been here a many times for the $ 1.19 beef tacos. It comes with two tacos wraps per taco so I actually separate the wraps and split the meat. Wola! You now have two beef tacos. Stuff three or four of them and it’s a full meal. They open until midnight(last time I checked) so it’s a great place to go if you you’re sick of taco bell or mcdonalds. Sundays are usually very busy and it’s tough to find a seat. Any other day is fine. You bring your own food to the table and clean up yourself so you can save tip money=] I’m Asian and never had a problem ordering or any experienced any unwelcomness when coming to Don Pedro(Lawrenceville).

Yummy! Being from California, I am used to wonderful mexican food. Im not surprised I cant find the same around here, but seeing this place was the only restaurant close to my brothers house that could fulfill my taco craving I gave them a shot OHWOW Smoke coming out of the roof, Cheap tacos, Telemundo and Mexicans: the recipe for authentic food that will hit the spot I ordered tacos with EVERYTHING and felt like I was in east oakland for the 10 mins it took me to eat it Rice and beans are blah but you cant love everythng

I only go here when I want something cheap, quick, and spicy. This place is good the first 3 times you go here, after that you notice the food tasting weird, like the enchiladas tasting like pizza and the steak having LOTS of fat. I don’t really like to eat here much anymore because of a horrible incident involving some huevo rancheros /shudders\, so I only consider this place a dead last resort.

To start, I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food because I find them too greasy to my liking. However, my husband loves it so we indulge ever now and then. This place is pretty decent food. I usually get a Chicken Quesadilla with guacamole while my husband tends to branch out with a little of everything. There hasn’t been anything he didn’t like. This location gets pretty busy on Sundays, with most of the clientele being Hispanic so we know it’s a pretty good establishment to eat at.

You don’t have to be a stoner to fall in love with this place and their DOLLARTACOS. They serve pretty darn authentic Mexican food from what I can tell(my credentials: one spring break in Mexico and years of visits to various Mexican places around the country). You order at the counter, sit around watching Mexican soap opera until they call you. The place is spacious and clean, so you take your pick of table and let the fiesta begin! The dollar tacos are so delicious… pork/chicken/steak and goodness wrapped up in 2 warm, chewy tortillas– yum! There’s a side booth with salsa, pico de gallo, sauces, and grilled veggies . There are 2 other DP locations in Norcross and Marietta. Don’t wait to be stoned out of your mind to check one out!
