IHOP

The burgers were dry and service was slow. About a 15 minute wait for pancakes.
But visually, this IHOP is nice.

I’ve been to this location several times in the past, and usually on a Sunday morning when it’s super busy. Today, Sunday, my husband and I went after the rush around 4pm. The dining area was almost empty, as a result, the staff were a lot more attentive. Our server took time to build a rapport, he kept the refills coming (this is key for me lol), and the service was speedy. We were in and out in an hour.
On the down side, the tables were grungy, my meal (Californian Scramble with strawberry cheesecake pancakes) was wrong. They gave me the Tuscan scramble, and strawberry pancakes, which was totally different, and although it’s tasted good, it didn’t provide as much flavor as my choice would have.
I will be returning because this location is my favorite, the prices are great & where else can you get strawberry cheesecake pancakes?

I would say nothing short of this place just being ghetto. Servers are rapping out loud, guests playing their music out loud. The lack to attention of detail. Was craving pancakes, feel much safer if I just bought the mix and made them at home next time.

If you want a nice breakfast experience go to a different IHOP. Only one waitress was working which was fine it wasn’t busy but she is so annoying! Walking around singing loudly interrupting conversations you’re having at your table! My husband and I want even go to this location because of this waitress! Food is also substandard.

Absolutely the worst I HOP experience of my life and honestly enough to end my days of going there. I was there on a dead day. Maybe two other families there. Poor service doesn’t begin to describe it. EVERY person that worked there was immature and extremely unprofessional, especially when I asked to have the meal they made me (having not made a plate the way I ordered it). The food was mediocre. Not well cooked, seasoned, or portioned. Definitely charging WAY too much here for what they are presenting on their plates. They need to replace the entire staff, including the cook, and TRAIN them! If there were negative stars, I would rate them much lower. Also getting a meal out at a place like I hop should not take 50 minutes.

I’ve tried this location many times and most of the time, it is a bad experience. Today’s was bad enough to warrant me writing this review. The service here is terrible… absolutely terrible. You have to beg for refills. If it is a weekend or holiday, just forget about getting a drink refill or decent service. You get seated and ignored. One night, we waited 25 minutes and then walked out. The management is as bad as the servers. They never «make it right» no how badly you were treated or even if the food came out wrong. They always have excuses for everything. The food is okay but other locations are waaaay better. This time, our entire dining experience lasted about 10 minutes total. We ordered, were served our food not even 2 minutes later, hadn’t even received our drinks yet! The server brought the drinks with our check. If I wanted fast food, I would have gone to a McDonald’s. For the price we paid, we’d have been better off at a fast food place. Be warned… This IHOP sucks.

I came in with my mom. Normally this place is great. They sat us and we were ignored. Finally we got up and left and no one noticed we had left either.

Very good food for the price, but service is terrible. Waiters really don’t want to work here. Had to fight just to get refills and food took a very very long time to come. Not sure that I would come back to this location again. There are other better locations in Gwinnett.

This place is half empty with plenty of staff, the service is horrible! Our food took forever to come out; about a good ⁴⁰⁄₄₅ minutes for my our food to come out. I have never liked this IHOP because everything I come it is always the same thing! I would recommend going to IHOP on pleasant hill! They are so much better, a lot faster!
I specifically told them to make sure my eggs aren’t runny. Surprise!!! They were running when I got them and I absolutely hate runny eggs it’s all slimy, gross!

Hit this IHOP late on a Saturday morning and the place was absolutely mobbed — line out the door, people everywhere — both customers and staff, it was complete mayhem.
Despite the crowds we were seated in about 20 mins (seems like an eternity when you are hungry and smelling bacon and maple syrup). Our waitress was super friendly and cheerful, which was amazing considering how she was running around between so many tables /​customers. She took our orders and the food arrived surprisingly fast. No complaints about the food — its IHOP and we got what we wanted /​expected. All the staff we interacted with were great in terms of attitude, friendliness and professionalism — I couldn’t do it — not with all those customers demanding attention.
My only slight issue was with the cleanliness of the restaurant especially the floors, but I guess that’s totally understandable considering the volume of business they were doing at the time.
Will definitely go back but might avoid the weekends, just to have a bit calmer atmosphere.

If you want quick service then avoid going at Sunday morning after Church. It isn probably there busiest time. However the service was great and the food was spot on. We will return but adjust our time according.

Great staff! Friendly atmosphere. It was very busy today but we were still able to get in and out quickly, and left happy and full! I ordered the same as always; breakfast sampler. Teresa got the chicken fried steak (so good…) and Jacquelyn enjoyed her banana pancakes! All in all, another great IHOP experience :)

Even the walmart presence didn’t even save this IHOP, mostly empty. Actually that’s a good thing too, so we can sit in at any time with no wait. You can get as much as 20% discount on food if you say you are a walmart employee (tell them you are off duty, so you don’t have to show them any ID). Other than that, it’s just an as usual IHOP, nothing more and nothing less. (Make sure your spoons and fork clean).

Friendly staff that always walks around to clean dishes off the tables, or sweeps the floor. Good food, frienly guests too.

Can I give no stars? Did not get service. The servers were all goofing off in the back. What a gross place.

took forever for someone to greet us and afterwards even longer for the servers to decide who was going to wait on us. After that the food was pretty good.

For the record: I LOVE IHOP! There was a period in my life when I ate there five nights a week. Imagine my joy when they opened one five minutes from the house.
Something is wrong. Corporate standards has dropped the ball. The food here is OK, just ok. Oh, well, it’s still good for once in a while.
I get one hour for lunch. I arrived at 11:31am. The manager seated me and handed me a menu. There were two other small groups of diners.
At 11:48, I got up and left. The manger was nowhere to be found, but six or seven waitresses were clustered around the cash register and customer-​waiting benches. Ironically, they all smiled pleasantly and thanked me for coming as I left.
